Abstract

Permasalahan lingkungan tidak lepas dari penanaman nilai-nilai peduli lingkungan, melestarikan lingkungan dengan dukungan penuh dalam diri masyarakat tempatan. Lingkungan merupakan suatu ruang yang dimanfaatkan untuk beraktivitas dan menjalani hidup yang mempengaruhi perkembangan kehidupan manusia. Ini lah yang melatar belakangi mahasiswa dalam pelaksanaan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) mengusung program kerja yang berbasis “Desa Tangguh Lingkungan”. Program ini didampingi oleh praktisi dan akademisi Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau. Metode pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui program KKN dengan program yaitu: pembuatan tanaman obat keluarga (TOGA), penyemprotan disinfektan, sosialisasi cara mencuci tangan yang baik dan benar, bakti sosial, dan pembuatan bak sampah. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yaitu: meningkatkan rasa peduli masyarakat desa terhadap lingkungan, merawat, menjaga dan pengembangan lingkungan bersih.

Abstract

This research investigates the intricate interplay between freedom of expression, access to information, political participation, and the protection of political rights in Indonesia through a quantitative analysis. A sample of 1500 respondents from diverse demographics was surveyed, and the data were subjected to confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. The findings reveal strong positive relationships between freedom of expression, access to information, political participation, and the protection of political rights. The measurement model demonstrated robust psychometric properties, and discriminant validity was confirmed. While the model fit was acceptable, ongoing refinement is suggested. The R-Square value indicates that approximately 60.2% of the variance in the protection of political rights can be explained by the selected variables. The study contributes to the understanding of democratic governance in Indonesia, emphasizing the pivotal role of information, expression, and civic engagement in safeguarding political rights.

Abstract

The Indonesian creative industry stands at the intersection of cultural richness, technological advancements, and economic potential. This research undertakes a quantitative analysis to unravel the challenges and opportunities in implementing an Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) protection system for creative industry development in Indonesia. The study involves 100 respondents representing diverse segments of the creative industry. Findings reveal a nuanced landscape, with varying perceptions of the current IPR protection system, significant concerns about challenges such as piracy, and optimistic views on growth opportunities through digital platforms, collaborations, and global markets. Recommendations from creative professionals emphasize the need for legal reforms, increased awareness campaigns, and collaborative efforts. This research contributes valuable insights to inform policymakers, industry practitioners, and stakeholders in fostering a robust and dynamic creative industry in Indonesia.

Abstract

Nearly 80% of Sipungguk Village is an agricultural area producing rice plants in Salo District. Sipungguk Village as a source of rice barns cannot be separated from environmental problems, related to the management of rice straw which is not yet optimal. If left unchecked, this will have an impact on the agricultural environment. Rice straw as rice plant residue after harvest is simply burned or thrown away, this action apart from polluting the air is also a waste of valuable resources. This issue is used as a challenge for students in implementing the 2023 Smart UMRI Real Work Lecture (KKN) by carrying out the work program: "Empowerment of Farmers through the Cultivation of Organic Rice Straw Compost". This program is accompanied by field supervisors (DPL) and practitioners in the agricultural sector. The community service method (PKM) is implemented through the KKN Program by carrying out several programs, namely: environment, health, education, Active and Creative, as well as additional work programs, namely: routine pickets at the Sipungguk Village Office. This PKM aims to: increase knowledge, manage organic compost, maintain health and awareness of environmental care, and empower and cultivate organic rice straw compost businesses.

Abstract

Implementation of the agreement that is negligent in carrying out its achievements or obligations contained in the agreed cooperation agreement. In the cooperation agreement, a default occurs. The problem in this study is about the late payment of wages or fees disbursed by PT. Erenha Langgeng Karsa. The type of research uses empirical legal research, data sources in the form of primary data and secondary data. The results of the research obtained are a form of legal settlement of the default of the cooperation agreement between PT. Erenha Langgeng Karsa and PT. Tanah Untuk Anak Negeri (Gurindam Property) is by giving a warning and conducting negotiations (deliberations) in a family manner. The factor that caused the default of the cooperation agreement between PT. Erenha Langgeng Karsa and PT. Tanah Untuk Anak Negeri (Gurindam Property) is an economic factor, because PT. Erenha Langgeng Karsa has other bills or arrears to the home material store. So that PT. Erenha Langgeng Karsa prioritizes paying the bill and neglects its obligations to PT. Land for the Nation's Children (Gurindam Property).
