Abstract

Abstrak: Eksplorasi Terhadap Lingkungan, Budaya Kerja, dan Kinerja Tenaga Kependidikan. Pengembangan sumber daya manusia menjadi komponen vital dan menentukan keberlanjutan tempat bekerja. Studi berusaha untuk mengeksplorasi sejauh mana dampak.lingkungannkerja dan budaya kerja terhadap kinerja tenaga kependidikan. Dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, populasii berjumlah 74, dimana difokuskan pada 47 sampel. Dalam hipotesis, kami dibantu oleh analisis regresi linear.berganda. Hasilnya, secara parsial, lingkungan dan budaya kerja berdampak signifikan terhadap kinerja karena p <0,05. Sementara itu, lingkungan dan budaya kerja secara simultan juga berdampak signifikan untuk meningkatkan kinerja, dimana p <0,05. Diperlukan upaya ekstra pada studi mendatang melalui pertimbangan penambahan besaran sampel dan komponen variabel. Kata kunci: sumberdaya manusia, perilaku karyawan, Universitas PGRI Argopuro Jember, regresi linier  Abstract:Human resource development is a vital component and determines the sustainability of the workplace. The study seeks to explore the extent of the impact of the work environment and work culture on the performance of education personnel. With a quantitative approach, the population is 74, which is focused on 47 samples. In the hypothesis, we were assisted by multiple linear regression analysis. The result, partially, work environment and culture have a significant impact on performance because p <0.05. Meanwhile, the environment and work culture simultaneously also had a significant impact on improving performance, where p <0.05. Abstract

Abstrak: Kinerja Tenaga Pendidik Ditinjau Dari Employee engagement dan Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana perilaku tenaga kependidikan di Universitas PGRI Argopuro Jember (UNIPAR Jember) ditengah masa pandemi Covid 19 ditinjau dari employee engagement, Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) dan kinerja. Apakah employee engagement yang dimiliki oleh tenaga kependidikan mampu menciptakan Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan kinerja serta menganalisis apakah OCB mampu memperkuat pengaruh employee engagement terhadap kinerja. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah tenaga kependidikan. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur. Setelah dilakukan analisis, dapat dilihat bahwa employee engagement yang dimiliki oleh tenaga kependidikan mampu menciptakan Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) dan dapat meningkatkan kinerja. Selain itu OCB dapat mempekuat pengaruh employee engagement terhadap kinerja. Kesimpulannnya adalah tenaga kependidikan yang telah engagement terhadap UNIPAR Jember mampu menciptakan Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) sehingga kinerja menjadi baik dan meningkat. Implikasinya adalah pimpinan perguruan tinggi dapat memberikan reward yang sesuai kepada tenaga kependidikan yang telah engage agar mereka tetap berkomitmen tumbuh bersama ditengah kondisi perguruan tinggi yang juga berjuang bertahan dan tumbuh.  Kata kunci: tenaga kependidikan; analisis jalur; employee engagement; Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB); kinerja.  Abstract: Performance of Educators in terms of Employee engagement and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). The purpose of this study was to see how the behavior of education staff at PGRI Argopuro University Jember (UNIPAR Jember) in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic in terms of employee engagement, Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and performance. Is employee engagement owned by education staff able to create Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) which can ultimately improve performance and analyze whether OCB is able to strengthen the effect of employee engagement on performance. Respondents in this study were educational staff. The analytical tool used is path analysis. After the analysis, it can be seen that employee engagement owned by education staff is able to create Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and can improve performance. In addition, OCB can strengthen the effect of employee engagement on performance. The conclusion is that education staff who have engagement with UNIPAR Jember are able to create Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) so that performance becomes good and increases. The implication is that higher education leaders can provide appropriate rewards to engaged education staff so that they remain committed to growing together in the midst of the conditions of universities which are also struggling to survive and grow. Keywords: education staff; path analysis; employee engagement; Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB); performance.

Abstract

The community service activity titled "Human Resource Management Assistance for Optimizing Teacher and Staff Performance" aims to improve the management of human resources (HR) at the Islamic Integrated Elementary School (SDIT) in Kencong District, Jember Regency. This assistance focused on enhancing skills in planning, performance evaluation, and the use of technology for administration. The measurement results obtained through questionnaires, interviews, and observations show significant positive impacts. The questionnaire indicated an increase in scores regarding HR management understanding, the application of performance evaluations, and administrative efficiency, which improved by up to 90%. Interviews with teachers, staff, and the principal highlighted that the activity helped improve coordination and the use of technology in administration. Observations also noted improvements in the organization and efficiency of work planning structures. Overall, this activity successfully enhanced the performance of teachers and staff by introducing more structured and technology-based HR management. These improvements are expected to have long-term impacts, both on the quality of education and HR management at the school. The success of this initiative not only affects the effectiveness of work at the school but also serves as a model that other schools can adopt to improve HR management and overall educational quality.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically analyze guidance and counseling (BK) programs in higher education institutions and their implications for service development. This topic was chosen given the importance of BK in supporting students' mental health, career readiness, and academic performance in an era of rapid social and technological change. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) following the PRISMA-SCR framework, processing 1,971 articles from the Scopus database from 2020 to 2025, which were filtered down to 8 primary studies for in-depth analysis. The review findings revealed that the stepped care model and online career counseling based on life design are practical approaches to improving the accessibility and quality of BK services. Mindfulness interventions, emotional intelligence training, and the development of blended counseling services have also been proven to support students' mental health and career readiness. However, there are research gaps regarding comparative studies, the influence of cultural context, and the long-term impact of BK programs, particularly in Indonesia. The counseling education and training curriculum needs to be strengthened with a focus on metacognitive and procedural dimensions. These findings emphasize the importance of developing adaptive and evidence-based counseling services to meet students' needs holistically and sustainably, while also opening opportunities for further research to enhance the effectiveness of counseling programs in higher education, particularly in local and global contexts

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of Educational Administration and Teacher Performance on Student Discipline at SMK IT Ibnu Katsir Jember. Using a quantitative approach with an analytical survey and cross-sectional design, the research sample consists of 31 students from grades X and IX. Data analysis was performed using multiple regression and hypothesis testing. The findings indicate that Educational Administration (X1) has a negative effect on Student Discipline (Y), with a significance value of 0.916 (greater than α = 0.05) and a t-value of -0.107 (less than the t-table value of 2.048). Conversely, Teacher Performance (X2) positively and significantly affects Student Discipline, with a significance value of 0.004 (less than α = 0.05) and a t-value of 3.432 (greater than the t-table value of 2.084). Additionally, both Educational Administration and Teacher Performance together have a positive effect on Student Discipline, as indicated by a significance value of 0.003 (less than α = 0.05) and an F-value of 10.721 (greater than the F-table value of 3.33). This study highlights the critical role of Teacher Performance in enhancing Student Discipline, while Educational Administration does not show a significant impact on its own.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in differentiated learning in the Economics subject at SMK Raudlatul Ulum Ledokombo Jember, as well as to identify the obstacles encountered during its implementation. The approach used is qualitative with a case study type. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. The research results show that PjBL is capable of enhancing student learning activity and understanding of economic material through the stages of project planning, collaborative-based implementation, and authentic evaluation. However, several obstacles were found, such as the limited understanding of PjBL by teachers, time constraints, and high administrative burdens. This research suggests the need for continuous training, the provision of adequate resources, and cross-functional collaboration to support the implementation of PjBL. The implications of this research reinforce the position of PjBL as an innovative strategy in contextual and learner-centered economic education.

Abstract

Education plays a fundamental role in shaping individuals who are intelligent, religious, and of good character, thereby enabling them to contribute to the progress of the nation. In the context of strengthening 21st-century learning that emphasizes critical thinking skills, this study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in developing students' critical thinking abilities in economics subjects, specifically on the topic of payment systems and instruments. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design at MA Nurul Iman Sumberjambe Jember. The research subjects include economics teachers, X IPS class students, the principal, and the curriculum deputy. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis is conducted through data condensation, presentation, and conclusion drawing, with validity tested through triangulation. The research results show that the application of the PBL syntax—comprising problem analysis, diagnosis, and alternative solutions—systematically fosters the critical thinking skills of students. That ability is evident in the processes of information search, logical reasoning, cause-and-effect analysis, and solution formulation for contextual economic problems. This research provides a new contribution in affirming the effectiveness of PBL in economic learning, which has not been extensively studied in depth, particularly on the topic of payment systems and instruments. Therefore, PBL has proven to be a relevant and applicable model in creating active, reflective, and meaningful economic learning.

Abstract

PURPOSE - This research aims to explore and elaborate on business development strategies, including product innovation, financial management, and marketing strategies, as well as the socio-economic impact of the MSME "Kripik Rido Susi" in Silo Village, Jember.METHODOLOGY - This research is a qualitative descriptive study with a case study type. The data in this research were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation methods. The validity of the data was tested using method, source, and time triangulation.FINDING - The research results show that the product innovation strategy is carried out through the development of taste, packaging, and size, based on simple market research. Financial management is handled manually but consistently, with daily record-keeping and capital support from personal funds as well as village assistance. The marketing strategy combines conventional approaches (consignment sales at small shops and cooperatives) and digital methods (social media and marketplaces). The existence of these SMEs not only increases the household income of employees but also strengthens the social capital of the community through active participation and pride in local products. These findings affirm that MSMEs based on local potential can be an effective instrument in creating economic independence for rural communities. This research provides empirical contributions to the literature on local economic development and offers a model of empowerment practices that can be replicated in similar regions

Abstract

Economic learning activities are often carried out to not only memorize concepts, but also understand, criticize, and apply them in real situations. This is done by analyzing data, making decisions in diagnosing problems, and understanding the impact or solution of a problem by students. The research has the following intentions: 1) to know the problem analysis using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to develop students' critical thinking skills in Economics class X IIS, 2) to know the problem diagnosis using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to develop students' critical thinking skills in economics class X IIS, and 3) to know alternative solutions using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to develop students' critical thinking skills in economics class X IIS. In the process, researchers used descriptive qualitative methods involving class X IIS at SMA Negeri 1 Rogojampi Banyuwangi. The data obtained are as follows. 1) problem analysis is carried out using the information search method by checking between opinions and facts, determining real ideas from their own thoughts related to payment systems and tools, both cash and non-cash. 2) Problem diagnosis is carried out in two stages, namely the assessment of the factors that cause the problem and the consequences that occur when there is a problem. 3) Determination of alternative solutions using the PBL model is done by analyzing payment systems and tools in real situations and constructing facts with opinions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Buy Two Get One Free (B2G1F) sales promotion on consumers’ purchasing decisions for Mie Sakera, a local instant noodle brand from Jember. The research uses a quantitative associative approach with an explanatory design to examine the causal relationship between B2G1F promotion (X) and purchasing decision (Y). Data were collected from 35 respondents through questionnaires consisting of eight indicators for sales promotion and six indicators for purchasing decision. The results of the validity and reliability tests indicate that all items are valid and reliable, with Cronbach’s Alpha values of 0.608 (X) and 0.716 (Y). The normality test using Shapiro-Wilk shows that the data meet the normal distribution assumption, while the linearity test confirms a significant linear relationship between the two variables (Sig. Linearity = 0.001). The simple linear regression analysis produces a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.436 and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.190, meaning that 19% of purchasing decision variations can be explained by the B2G1F promotion. Furthermore, the regression equation Y = 44.958 + 0.483X with a t-value of 2.787 and Sig. = 0.009 (<0.05) indicates a significant positive effect of the promotion on purchasing decisions. Thus, the B2G1F strategy is proven effective in increasing consumer purchase intention and product attractiveness, suggesting that local brands like Mie Sakera can enhance competitiveness through promotional programs combined with consistent product quality and digital marketing efforts.
