Abstract

The capital market is like a place where people can buy and sell something called securities, namely bonds and stocks. Understanding how much a stock is worth is very important for investors who want to invest their money. The value of a stock is determined by how many people want to buy it and how many people want to sell it. The stock price shows how much the value of a company is, and if the company's performance is good, many people want to buy its shares. The purpose of the study is to see how certain things affect the share price of mining companies in Indonesia. This study looks at factors such as EPS, ROA and ROE of companies from 2017 to 2021. By studying 42 mining companies and collecting information from 39 of these companies whose data is taken from the IDX (Indonesian Stock Exchange). Uses several statistical techniques to analyze the data. The results of the study show that EPS and ROA all have a significant and positive effect on stock prices. However, ROE has a significant and negative impact on stock prices.

Abstract

In this comprehensive study, we explored the intricate relationship between gender, financial literacy, and its impact on economic empowerment. The research was conducted to understand better the disparities in financial knowledge between genders and their consequences on economic well-being. The study involved quantitative and qualitative data collection methods, allowing for a holistic examination of the subject matter. Key findings of this research indicated significant gender-based differences in financial literacy, with a 12% gap observed, favoring one gender. These disparities have wide-reaching implications for economic empowerment, as they contribute to income disparities and financial decision-making. Societal expectations and cultural norms emerged as influential factors, shaping financial behaviors and attitudes differently for each gender. Addressing these disparities is crucial for advancing gender equality and promoting economic independence among women. Tailored financial education programs considering gender-specific needs and challenges are essential in bridging the financial literacy gap. Broader financial education initiatives targeting both genders can further enhance financial knowledge and empower individuals to make informed financial decisions. The implications of this study extend beyond financial literacy, underscoring the importance of achieving gender equality in financial decision-making to promote gender equity and enhance women's economic well-being. Policymakers, educators, and researchers can draw valuable insights from this research to inform policy recommendations and initiatives to break down gender-based financial disparities.

Abstract

The coastal village of Kusamba in Bali has long relied on salt farming as an economic activity, but conventional methods have harmed the environment. The Tri Hita Karana-Based Conservation Initiatives were developed with community engagement to address this issue. Researchers collaborated closely with local stakeholders to establish an approach that combines tradition, ecological preservation, and economic prosperity. The main findings highlight the implementation of Tri Hita Karana in increasing salt production in order to preserve the traditional salt farming culture. The initiatives include training and mentoring programs on sustainable salt production methods and preserving traditional salt farming. These efforts have led to improved biodiversity, strengthened coastlines, increased income, and sustainable tourism. Challenges faced include resistance to change, which was overcome through dialogue. The initiatives have attracted global recognition and serve as a model for sustainable development. The community's active involvement, alongside scientific knowledge and eco-friendly technologies, contributed to a 30% increase in salt production yield. The initiatives align with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and highlight the significance of holistic conservation approaches. Although successful, challenges such as funding limitations and climate variability persist. In conclusion, the Tri Hita Karana-Based Conservation Initiatives in Kusamba demonstrate the potential of blending tradition and modernity to achieve a balanced and sustainable future, setting an example for other communities and researchers.

Abstract

This financial reporting digitalization training with accounting applications aims to reduce the risk of fraud in the financial reports of small and medium enterprises and young entrepreneurs. The main problem is the low understanding of participants in making accurate and transparent digital financial reports. The activity partners are students of SMKN 25 Jakarta who need to improve their skills in preparing application-based financial reports such as BukuWarung, SIAPIK, and Accurate. Training methods include observation, socialization, practice of using applications according to financial accounting standards, mentoring, and evaluation. The training lasted for 16 hours with theoretical and practical materials. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in participant understanding and readiness to apply accounting technology in an accountable manner. Obstacles such as limited technological facilities and variations in participant abilities were overcome by rescheduling and special mentoring. Recommendations for this activity include improving technological facilities, developing flexible learning materials, and ongoing mentoring so that the benefits of the training can continue. This activity also supports the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka program through the active role of students as facilitators.
