Abstract

The condition that occurs in the classroom is that students are afraid of English. Students feel that learning English is difficult to memorize. Students have learning difficulties because the teacher does not apply a suitable learning model for students. This causes students to feel bored in learning and has an impact on students' low English skills. The purpose of this study is to analyze the shadowing technique in learning English for students. This type of research is classroom action research. The research subjects were 17 students. There are four main parts of classroom action research, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The methods used to collect data are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The technique used to analyze the data is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The study results are the average value, from 73.2 in the first cycle to 76.0 in the second cycle. The percentage of students who passed the KKM also increased from 59% to 78%. Listening skills improve after the application of shadowing techniques. The key is that the application of shadowing techniques can improve students' listening. This research implies that teachers can apply shadowing techniques in the classroom. The application of shadowing techniques can create a fun learning atmosphere for students to improve students' listening skills.

Abstract

This study aims to see and analysis the influence of leadership on and job satisfaction, as well as to measure the role of communication as a mediating variable for the influence of leadership on job satisfaction in a villa business in Bali. The population of this research is all employees who work in the villa business in Bali. This study collected data using a questionnaire with accidental sampling method involving 109 employees at a villa business in Bali as respondents. To determine the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable and the role of the mediating variable, this study analyzed the data using a path analysis approach with the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 21 program. Meanwhile, to measure the role of the mediating variable using the variance accounted for (VAF) method. The results of this study indicate that leadership has a positive and significant effect on communication and job satisfaction, communication has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and communication is proven to be a partial mediator of the influence of leadership on employee job satisfaction in the villa business in Bali

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh teknologi informasi dan knowledge sharing terhadap kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Dinas Kebudayaan Kabupaten Karangasem, dimana pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai yang bekerja pada Dinas Kebudayaan Kabupaten Karangasem yang berjumlah 49 orang, sehingga metode penentuan sampel menggunakan metode sampel jenuh. Sedangkan untuk teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis) dengan SPSS 21. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa teknologi informasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap knowledge sharing, namun berpengaruh tidak signifikan mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai, knowledge sharing berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dan knowledge sharing berperan sebagai pemediasi penuh pengaruh teknologi informasi terhadap kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

Bali today is experiencing a growth in the number of cooperatives, butthe growth of the cooperativeis not followed by the quality ofthe cooperative it self.Particularly in Klungkung cooperatives is still having problems in the field of humanresources cooperatives, which are owned by the board still does not have sufficientcompetence because of the lack of understanding of competence in accordance withthe needs of existing cooperatives. Therefore, this research intends toformulate thefactors thatinfluence cooperative human resource competencies that will be able tobe used as the basis in finding or developing its human resources. In the extraction of the factors thatmade the overall show variables can explain the variety ofform factors. After that is the determination of the number offactors, which deserve to becalled whenthe factor has a value of more than 1 can be computed as a factor, sothat only four factors were formed. Form factor given the name 1) Mastery of work,2) Self-awareness, 3) Personal capability and 4) Individual excellence. Assessmentsfactorsindicate that the model has an accuracy of 61% on the error rate or alphaof 5%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara empowering leadership, budaya organisasi dan komitmen organisasi dengan kinerja koperasi, serta menguji peran komitmen organisasi sebagai pemediasi hubungan antara empowering leadership dan budaya organisasi dengan kinerja koperasi. Untuk itu, penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kausalitas yang menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Adapun populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh koperasi yang masih aktif di Kecamatan Klungkung yang berjumlah 132 unit koperasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan metode structural equation model (SEM) berbasis partial least square (PLS). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa empowering leadership, budaya organisasi, dan komitmen organisasi memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan kinerja koperasi. Selain itu, budaya organisasi juga memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan komitmen organisasi. Akan tetapi, empowering leadership tidak terbukti memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan komitmen organisasi. Hasil lebih lanjut menunjukkan bahwa komitmen organisasi tidak terbukti sebagai pemediasi hubungan empowering leadership dengan kinerja koperasi. Akan tetapi, komitmen organisasi terbukti sebagai pemediasi hubungan budaya organisasi dengan kinerja koperasi.

Abstract

The development of the business world now requires all forms of business including cooperatives to do various ways to increase productivity and performance. One of the efforts in increasing productivity and performance is by building a high-performance work system. The purpose of this research is to find out the high performance work system in cooperatives. The number of respondents was 132 respondents with factor analysis analysis techniques. From the results of the analysis conducted found three factors as determinants of high performance work systems, namely the method of task delegation, internal planning and motivation.

Abstract

The development of the economy in Indonesia cannot be separated from the participation of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), while the form of interaction between SMEs is seen by their participation as providers of employment and their contribution to gross domestic product. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of product innovation, process innovation, and management innovation on performance. Measuring the effect of innovation on performance and which indicator variables have an effect on performance. This study used a quantitative approach by involving 262 SMEs as a sample. The multiple linear regression analysis techniques with the SPSS 21 program were used to answer the hypothesis. The results obtained are product innovation that has a significant positive effect on performance, process innovation has a positive and insignificant effect on performance and management innovation has a significant negative effect on performance. The magnitude of the influence of the variable product innovation, innovation process, and management innovation on performance is still in a low category of 5.6% and the innovation variable has a dominant effect on the performance of SMEs.

Abstract

Human resources are the main role of a company because it can create various innovations to move the company. In order for the company to be more advanced, it must have leadership knowledge and skills that are appropriate to the field and business in managing the company. Improving employee performance is a priority made by each company to run in accordance with the company's vision and mission. One way to improve the performance of human resources is by providing training programs. The Patra Bali Resort & Villas has several aspects of assessment in improving employee performance, namely, quality of work, knowledge of work, quantity of work, level of attendance, responsibility, expertise, honesty. This research was conducted at The Patra Bali Resort & Villas with a total employee of 238 people consisting of 11 departments. The sample taken in this study amounted to 100 people calculated using Solvin formula withtechnique Proportional Sampling. The data analysis tool used is descriptive analysis, data quality test, classic assumption test and multiple linear regression test with the application Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) Version 24.0. The results showed that leadership and training had a positive effect on employee performance with a determination coefficient of 0.217 or 21.7% while the remaining 78.3% was influenced by other factors outside of this study. Hypothesis test results of leadership influence (X1) on employee performance (Y) show a significance level of 0.029 smaller than α = 0.05. This means that leadership influences employee performance. Leadership regression coefficient (X1) of 0.182 indicates a positive influence of leadership on employee performance. These results accept the hypothesis H1 which states leadership has a positive effect on employee performance and the results of the training hypothesis test (X2) on employee performance (Y) in Table 4.5 shows a significance level of 0.003 smaller than α = 0.05. This means that the training variable has an effect on employee performance. The regression coefficient of the training variable (X2) of 0.373 indicates a positive effect of training on employee performance. Abstract

Employees are the main assets in running a company's operations. The problem raised in this study is motivation (X1) influences performance (Y) in Jambuluwuk Oceano Seminyak Hotel, how does work discipline (X2) affect performance (Y) in Jambuluwuk Oceano Seminyak Hotel, how much is the influence of work motivation and work discipline on employee performance at Jambuluwuk Oceano Seminyak Hotel and which independent variables have a dominant influence on employee performance at Jambuluwuk Oceano Seminyak Hotel. The population in this study amounted to 94 people. This study uses the population as a sample. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show a regression model Y = 4,510 + 0,246 (X1) + 0,285 (X2) The conclusion obtained is Motivation (X1) has a positive influence on employee performance at the Jambuluwuk Oceano Seminyak Hotel as indicated by the positive coefficient b1X1 regression coefficient. Work discipline (X2) has a positive influence on employee work discipline at the Jambuluwuk Oceano Seminyak Hotel, this can be seen in the positive coefficient b2X2 which is positive. The magnitude of the effect of motivation and work discipline on employee performance at Jambuluwuk Oceano Seminyak Hotel was 43.6% and the remaining 56.4% was influenced by other variables not examined in this study. The independent variable that has a dominant influence on Employee Performance is the work discipline variable (X2) that is equal to 0.285 while the Motivation variable (X1) is 0.246

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership and employee satisfaction at Villa The Layar Seminyak. This research is a quantitative study that describes and explains how the influence of leadership and communication on employee job satisfaction at Villa The Layar Seminyak. The population used was 150 employees and the sample used was 60% of the total population or as many as 90 respondents. Testing instruments using the validity and reliability test. Data analysis techniques used multiple linear regression, the classic assumption test, the coefficient of determination, and the t test. The results showed that (1) leadership had a positive effect on employee job satisfaction at Villa The Layar Seminyak with a value of 0.501, (2) communication had a positive effect on employee job satisfaction at the Villa Seminyak Screen with a value of 0.143, (3) the magnitude of the influence of leadership and communication to job satisfaction of employees at Villa The Layar Seminyak by 56.8%, (4) leadership is the most dominant influence on employee job satisfaction at Villa The Layar Seminyak with a value of 0.595.
