Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the effect of zakat funds on the economic empowerment of MSMEs actors after the Sunda Strait Tsunami disaster. (2) to determine the effect of Business Development Service (BDS) on the economic empowerment of MSMEs actors after the Sunda Strait Tsunami disaster. (3) determine the effectiveness of zakat funds and Business Development Service (BDS) for the economic empowerment of MSMEs actors after the Sunda Strait Tsunami disaster. The method used in this research is quantitative method. All of the data in this study are primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to 11 Sumur sub-district MSMEs who receive zakat funds and business development services (BDS) from the Harapan Dhuafa Amil Zakat Institute. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. All data were tested using SPSS v.19 software. The results of this study indicate, (1) Zakat funds partially have a significant effect on the economic empowerment of MSMEs actors after the Sunda Strait Tsunami disaster, because the t value of the variable capital assistance is greater than the t table value (9,476> 1,894) and the significance value is smaller than the alpha value (0.000 <0.05). (2) Business Development Service (BDS) partially has a significant effect on the economic empowerment of MSMEs actors after the Sunda Strait Tsunami disaster, because because the t value of the BDS variable is greater than the t table value (10,086> 1,894) and the significance value is smaller than the alpha value. (0.000 <0.05). (3). Zakat funds and Business Development Service (BDS) for the economic empowerment of MSMEs actors after the Sunda Strait Tsunami disaster.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze (1) Utilization of productive zakat in BAZNAS Serang Regency and (2) The effect of the utilization of productive zakat in the form of capital on the empowerment of Small Micro Enterprises (SMEs) in Serang Regency. The object of this research is the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) of Serang Regency and Small Micro Enterprises (SMEs) that receive venture capital assistance from BAZNAS Serang Regency. The method used in this study is a mixed-method with a sequential explanatory approach, collection and analysis of qualitative data in the first stage, then followed by the collection and analysis of quantitative data in the second stage. The findings of this study show that (1) Utilization of productive zakat BAZNAS Serang Regency is done through small business capital assistance program given to seven types of small micro-enterprises (SMEs) namely stalls, machete craftsmen, traders, herbal therapy/herbal traders, culinary, sandal name making and travel. Small business capital assistance is distributed in the form of rolling capital loans using qardul hasan contract (repayment amount according to the loan amount), if there is business bankruptcy due to default of SMEs actors, then BAZNAS Serang will resolve it through a partner from local village officials, but if the bankruptcy occurs without any element of default, then BAZNAS Serang Regency will remove SMEs from the nominative if the assistance period has exceeded 5 years. and (2) the utilization of productive zakat in the form of business capital has a positive and significant effect on the empowerment of SMEs in Serang Regency with an influence contribution of 22.7% and the remaining 77.3% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Abstract

This research oriented to analyze influence of religiosity on the economic behavior of traditional market society in The Serang City of Banten Province. The result of the research could be information, reference, and policy formulation for developing economy, till it achieves on the target, creates individual and social pious. The Method used in the research is causal relationship to determine the level of influence. The technique used in this research is questionnaires contain a set of questions for respondents to answer. While to know the influence of religiosity (X variable) toward economic behavior of traditional market society (Y Variable) in The Serang City of Banten Province. The result of the research showed the influence of religiosity on the economic behavior of traditional market society in the Serang city of Banten Province based on the r square value 81,17 and results for inner weight 48.095. based on the analysis concluded that religiosity has a high influence on the economic behavior (distributor and consumer) compared with other aspects. Abstract

The Muslim community as consumers have the right to get correct information about the food products they consume. The government's efforts to protect the rights of the Muslim community in terms of information on halal food products, namely by issuing Law no. 33 of 2014 concerning Halal Product Guarantee. Halal certification is a form of producer strategy in attracting consumers to buy their products so that it will indirectly increase sales turnover. But the facts on the ground, there are still many SMEs, especially food producers who are still elements about the added value of halal certification. This study aims to analyze the effect of halal certification on increasing sales of food producers who already have halal certificates in the province of Banten. The research method used is quantitative. Methods of data collection using a questionnaire and data processing using SPSS software version 23. Data analysis using a simple linear regression method. The results of this study indicate that halal certification has a significant positive effect on increasing sales of halal-certified food producers in the province of Banten. The contribution of the effect of halal certification to the increase in sales is 21 percent, while the rest is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
