Abstract

This paper discusses the authority behind the Sunday Morning Brochure by Majelis Tafsir Al-Qur’an (MTA). The Sunday Morning Brochure is a study material given on Sunday morning and distributed to MTA members, and they can be regarded as a fatwa or the result of the MTA’s ijtihād in understanding the sources of Islamic law. From the documentations and interviews, this research finds that the study materials on the MTA’s Sunday morning brochures have been designed by a team of experts under the supervision of Ahmad Sukina. However, the brochures are, in fact, only prepared individually by the chairman of the team, i.e. Masduki who cannot be said to be authoritative in the istinbāṭ or ijtihād of Islamic law because he does not meet the criteria as an individual mujtahid in establishing the Islamic law. While using the jargon back to the Qur'an and Sunnah, MTA still uses ijmā' and qiyās as a proposition though in a very limited case. Other sources than those four, such as istiḥsān, maṣlaḥah, and istiṣḥāb will not be used by the MTA.

Abstract

Pedagogical knowledge in the context of PP No. 74 of 2008 is more equated with the term teacher pedagogic competence. Teacher pedagogic competence is the ability to manage student learning which at least includes understanding of educational insights or foundations, understanding of students, curriculum/syllabus development, learning design, implementation of educational and dialogical learning, utilization of learning technology, evaluation of learning outcomes, and development students to actualize their various potentials. This research was conducted using a correlational quantitative approach. The quantitative approach in research is an approach that emphasizes analysis on numerical data (numbers) that are processed by statistical methods. Basically, the quantitative approach is carried out in inferential research (in the context of testing the hypothesis) and relies on the conclusion of the results on a null probability of rejecting the hypothesis. With quantitative methods will be obtained the significance of the relationship between the variables studied. In general, quantitative research is research on a large sample. The leadership of high-quality madrasah principals with learning outcomes has been widely documented in various research results. A number of recent studies have shown that superior leadership is one of the determining factors in improving teacher performance, both in terms of professional competence and teacher pedagogy.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of educational infrastructure management at IAIN Surakarta in the era of technological disruption, to identify the implementation of the transformation of educational infrastructure management at IAIN Surakarta in the era of technological disruption, and to find the benefits of transforming educational infrastructure management at IAIN Surakarta in the era of technological disruption. This research uses a descriptive qualitative case study method. The place of research is at the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Surakarta Campus. Sources of research data using a combined method, namely, first, purposive sampling by determining the informants who know in depth about the focus of research. Second, with what goes on like a snowball or snowball sampling. The data of this research was extracted from the research subject, namely the academic community of IAIN Surkarta, and the informants were the leaders of the academic community of IAIN Surkarta starting from the Chancellor, Assistant Chancellor and other leaders. Data collection techniques in this study using documents, in-depth interviews, and observation. The method used to check the validity of the data is the credibility test, transferability test, dependability test, and confirmability test. The data analysis technique used in this research is through interactive analysis techniques. The results show that IAIN Surakarta has transformed the development of educational infrastructure through very mature management under the leadership of the Chancellor of IAIN Surakarta; the implementation of the transformation of educational infrastructure management at IAIN Surakarta in the era of technological disruption has run smoothly with the support of human resources and increasingly modern information and technology systems, various existing infrastructure facilities have met the standards set and are able to meet various demands of globalization; The benefits of transforming the management of educational infrastructure at IAIN Surakarta in the era of technological disruption are enormous for the progress of the IAIN Surakarta campus in supporting the smooth quality of the learning process.

Abstract

Marriage law in Islamic countries is still considered gender-biased. Indonesia, as the majority Muslim country, is not exception. Marriage Law No. 1/1974 and the Compilation of Islamic Law (Kompilasi Hukum Islam/KHI) are two examples of Muslim family law where discrimination against women persist. This paper will discuss the problem of gender biases in the Islamic marriage law in Indonesia, the imperative of gender-sensitive law reform, and the implementation of the principle of maslaha as solution. It sheds lights on such biases and offer alternative perspectives, as these are advocated by Muslim reformers. This study argues that it is necessary to reform the Islamic marriage laws, which are gender sensitives, by removing discriminatory clauses. The reform is meant to realize maslaha (well-being/welfare) and is based on the implementation of the highest objective of Islamic law, formulated as maqāshid al-sharī‘a. These include preservation of religion (ḥifẓ al-dīn), mind (ḥifẓ al-‘aql), soul (ḥifẓ al-nafs), wealth (ḥifẓ al-mal), and descendants (ḥifẓ al-nasl).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; (1) mengidentifikasi profil lulusan madrasah berbasis pesantren tasawuf dan (2) mendeskripsikan manajemen pengembangan mutu lulusan yang efektif diterapkan. Riset dilakukan di MTs Serba Bakti Pondok Pesantren Suryalaya Tasikmalaya pada bulan Februari 2022. Data dikumpulkan dengan analisis dokumen dan wawancara dengan informan Kepala Madrasah, Wakil Kepala Madrasah, dan guru secara daring. Data divalidasi dengan triangulasi sumber dan dianalisis menggunakan interactive model. Hasil riset menunjukkan bahwa profil lulusan madrasah mengarah pada pembentukan kader pengamal, pengaman, dan pelestari Tariqah Qadiriyah Naqsyabandiyah (TQN). Untuk mewujudkan profil tersebut, kepala madrasah menerapkan manajemen mutu terpadu (TQM). Keterpaduan manajemen nampak dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, sampai evaluasinya. Program diturunkan dari rumusan visi, misi, tujuan, dan kebijakan. Program pembinaan materi kepesantrenan menjadi satu kesatuan dengan program ekstrakurikuler dan kokurikuler. Semua pihak terlibat dalam pelaksanaan program baik di madrasah maupun di pesantren dengan terjadwal secara lengkap. Madrasah melakukan monitoring dan evaluasi terhadap pelaksanaan amaliyah ibadah dan dzikir sesuai panduan TQN untuk mengukur capaian profil lulusan. Hasil riset ini memberikan implikasi bahwa manajemen mutu lulusan madrasah berbasis pesantren efektif jika dilakukan secara terintegrasi dengan prinsip-prinsip TQM

Abstract

Society 5.0 is in line with the industrial revolution 4.0 where both bring technology as a new world change. This research aims to understand the basic concepts of society 5.0 and Islamic educational institutions' readiness to address them. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data sources are obtained through literature studies and analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results show that the basic concept of society 5.0 is directed at human comfort in all joints of life or activity through technology optimization. Islamic educational institutions are required to cultivate values to stem the negative influence of changes and the development of the times, both society 5.0 in line and the industrial revolution 4.0.

Abstract

Di era yang serba cepat dengan memanfaatkan media sosial, lembaga pendidikan memiliki tantangan yang baru dalam upaya memasarkan lembaga pendidikannya dengan menyesuaikan perubahan zaman digital ini, dengan memanfaatkan media sosial diharapkan mampu untuk meningkatkan citra sekolah dan sebagai promosi yang mudah dan cepat untuk sampai kepada masyarakat. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk mengetahui manajemen strategi pemasaran dalam meningkatkan eksistensi dan citra lembaga pendidikan . Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pemasaran  menggunakan model  serta menggunakan bauran pemasaran yang dilakukan yaitu melalui sosial media cetak baliho dan brosur, juga memanfaatkan media digital Instagram, Youtube. Model pemasaran eksternal yang dilakukan dengan media sosial pemasaran internal melalui pemberdayaan, pengembangan tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan.

Abstract

DSN sebagai lembaga yang berwenang mengeluarkan fatwa juga telah mengeuarkan beberapa fatwa transakasi muamalah dengan menggunakan hybrid contract, salah satunya yaitu Fatwa DSN MUI Nomor 31/DSN-MUI/VI/2002 tentang pembiayaan take over atau pengalihan utang. Metode pendekatan yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah yuridis normatif dengan menitik beratkan pada data kepustakaaan atau data sekunder yaitu suatu penelitian yang secara deduktif dimulai analisa terhadap fatwa-fatwa. Tidak semua alternatif pada fatwa DSN-MUI tentang pengalihan utang digunakan dalam transaksi pengalihan utang yang dilakukan nasabah dan lembaga keuangan syariah. Kurang mendalamnya fatwa yang dikeluarkan DSN-MUI mengakibatkan simpang siur pemikiran dan pendapat oleh para praktisi, sehingga munculnya akad baru yang mana tidak sesuai dengan syariah terjadi di lapangan.

Abstract

Strategi manajemen kepala sekolah memiliki fungsi penting dalam meminimalisir terjadinya konflik serta meningkatkan peluang keberhasilan tujuan sekolah melalui pengendalian konflik pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis identifikasi potensi konflik, klasifikasi potensi konflik dan strategi manajemen kepala sekolah dalam mengelola konflik pendidikan. Pendekatan penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Adapun lokasi penelitian ini adalah di SMP Roudlotussalam Watukebo Blimbingsari Banyuwangi. Informan kunci dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru bimbingan konseling, wakil kepala bidang kesiswaan dan komite. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Untuk menguji kredibilitas data maka peneliti melakukan triangulasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model analisis interaktif Miles, Huberman dan Saldana yaitu kondensi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini (1) identifikasi konflik dengan observasi, laporan dan interaksi langsung, (2) mengklasifikasi potensi konflik serius atau tidak, perlu penanganan serius atau tidak, bertujuan untuk mencari solusi dan strategi tepat, (3) manajemen strategi kepala sekolah melalui:  Pertama, perencanaan analisis setiap bulan melalui rapat dengan melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru bimbingan konseling, wakil kepala bidang kesiswaan dan komite. Kedua, penyelesaian konflik dengan musyawarah melibatkan mediator (komite). Ketiga, evaluasi konflik melalui rapat setiap bulan untuk menyelesaikan dan mengantisipasi konflik dengan melibatkan pihak terkait.
