Abstract

Abstract

The unemployment rate in Indonesia is a classic problem that continues to be reviewed. This study aims to determine the impact of gross domestic product, provincial minimum wage, and labor absorption investment. This research uses quantitative methods and panel data analysis, which is processed using eviews 10, conducted in six provinces in Java in 2013-2019. The study used secondary data from the central statistics agency: labor absorption data, gross regional domestic product, and the provincial minimum wage (UMP). At the same time, investment data obtained the value of domestic investment and foreign investment. The results showed that PDRB and investment had a positive effect on labor absorption. In contrast to these two variables, UMP negatively affects labor absorption. The results of this study are essential for policymakers on labor issues in Indonesia. The suggestion for the next research is to use a broader scope, namely Indonesia. Besides, it is necessary to distinguish the workforce into an educated workforce, a trained workforce, an uneducated workforce, and an untrained workforce.

Abstract

Literacy in early childhood is not only limited to the ability to read and write but also to read symbols or signs that are around children. Sensitivity to signs in the surrounding environment is the initial ability to read more complex symbols such as letters of the alphabet. Family and home are the first places for children to learn, but not all families, in this case parents, understand this. Parents still think that later literacy activities will be carried out by their children. This training activity aims to provide information and invite parents to be more aware that literacy activities can be started with the simplest activities at home. This community service activity is carried out using the in-service training method. After the parent service activities, posyandu cadres, and PAUD post teachers have an understanding that literacy stimulation activities can be done at home, and have new knowledge about various activities that can be done to stimulate early literacy in children. PAUD can socialize various activities to stimulate early literacy through posters and booklets that have been distributed in community service activities.

Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates the effects of perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment, e service quality, and technostress on the decision to use the BYOND BSI super app within the digital transformation of Islamic banking in Indonesia, focusing on Islamic university students in the Malang Raya region. Method: A quantitative approach was applied using a structured questionnaire administered to 100 respondents. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling through SmartPLS 3.0 to assess the influence of digital factors on user adoption. Result: The findings show that perceived ease of use and technostress significantly affect the decision to use BYOND BSI, while e service quality has a moderate effect and perceived enjoyment is not significant. These results suggest that adoption behavior is primarily driven by functional convenience and technological pressure rather than hedonic motivation. Implication: The study extends the Technology Acceptance Model by incorporating technostress in the context of Islamic digital banking and highlights the need for simple system design reliable services and improved digital literacy to reduce user stress. Originality: This study contributes to Islamic fintech literature by empirically integrating technostress into the TAM framework and explaining user adoption behavior in Indonesia.

Abstract

Poverty is a significant problem faced by developing countries, including Indonesia. Islam teaches its people to fight poverty because poverty is closer to kufr. Aceh is famous for applying Islamic law, but Aceh is the poorest province on the island of Sumatra in 2020. Meanwhile, in terms of Sharia financing, Aceh Province ranks 4th, and the Human Development Index (IPM) ranks 11th highest nationally. This panel aims to determine the effect of Islamic financing and the Human Development Index (HDI) on poverty levels in Aceh Province. Data analysis was carried out using panel data regression by choosing the best regression model, namely the Fixed Effect Model, by combining cross-section data of 21 districts/cities in Aceh Province during the 2016-2020 period. The study results, both partially and simultaneously, Islamic financing and HDI have a negative and significant effect on the poverty level in Aceh Province.
