Abstract

Pemahaman konsep siswa dipengaruhi oleh model pembelajaran yang diterapkan oleh guru. Pembelajaran cenderung menerapkan model konvensional yang membuat siswa kurang memahami konsep, sehingga diperlukan alternatif model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi asam basa. Salah satu alternatif model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan adalah model Project Based Learning (PjBL). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Perbedaan dan Efektivitas Pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi Larutan Asam Basa kelas XI IPA dan XI IPS 1 MAN 3 Pontianak antara model pembelajaran PjBL dengan model Pembelajaran Konvensional. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan Quasy Eksperimental. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling, diperoleh kelas XI IPS 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan XI IPA sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik pengukuran, observasi dan wawancara. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah tesĀ  hasil belajar siswa berbentuk pilihan ganda dengan tipe (two tier multiple choice), lembar observasi dan lembar wawancara. Hasil uji statistik menggunakan uji U Mann Whitney dengan Asymp sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 < 0,05 yang berarti Ha diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep yang dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa antra yang diajarkan menggunakan model PjBL dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Model PjBL efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa dengan nilai Effect Size sebesar 2,78 dengan persentase efektivitas sebesar 49,73%

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This research aims to develop high school biology teaching kits based on local potential, environmental literacy, and conservation in Kubu Raya Regency. This research used development method refers to the model Thiagarajan (2007). The definition stage carried out by identifying potential local Kubu Raya regency and analyze the needs of high school biology teaching kits. The design stage done to design a teaching kits format. The development stage of teaching kits already validated by 3 teachers of biology in Kubu Raya high school. Limited trial teaching kits done in class X SMAN 2 Kubu Raya. The average score validation results indicate that teaching kits worthy to use. The practicality of the taching kits test response on average 82% with criteria very well. The teaching kits is very effective learning based on student learning score value of 86.67%. Biology teaching kits have very valid criteria, practical, and effective way so that it can be implemented widely in biology learning at high school. ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran biologi SMA berbasis potensi lokal, literasi lingkungan, dan sikap konservasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model Thiagarajan (2007). Tahap pendefinisian dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi potensi lokal Kabupaten Kubu Raya dan menganalisa kebutuhan perangkat pembelajaran biologi di SMA Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Tahap perancangan dilakukan untuk merancang format perangkat pembelajaran. Tahap pengembangan menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang sudah divalidasi 3 orang guru biologi. Uji coba terbatas terhadap perangkat (RPP, bahan ajar, dan LKS) dilakukan di kelas X SMAN 2 Kubu Raya. Rata-rata skor hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa semua perangkat pembelajaran layak digunakan. Kepraktisan perangkat (RPP, Bahan Ajar, dan LKS) pada uji coba mendapatkan respon rata-rata 82% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Perangkat pembelajaran sangat efektif berdasarkan nilai ketuntasan belajar siswa sebesar 86.67%. Perangkat pembelajaran biologi memiliki kriteria sangat valid, praktis, dan efektif sehingga dapat diimplementasikan secara luas dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Kelapa Jaya is a peasant group that uses nira coconut to make coconut sugar. The production process is still traditional. The farmer's group is still using a manual mixer so it takes a long complaint time, six hours. Besides, the product still does not have a brand so its sales value is still low. Therefore, it is necessary to transfer technology to accelerate the production process and increase the sales value of the product. This community partnership program (PKM) aims to: (1) transfer the efficiency technology of production processes with automatic complaints. (2) increase the sales value of products with labelling and merck. This PKM uses an action or participatory approach with the PKM team acting as a trainer, accompanist, observer, supervisor, and evaluator of the success of the program carried out by the farming group. PKM results show that the automatic nira sugar mixer can accelerate the process of grinding by 17%. The device can accelerate the re-grinding process from 6 hours to 5 hours. This can happen because of the uniform grinding and heating so that the nira clamps faster. There has been an increase in the knowledge and skills of each partner by 70%. Partners have been able to increase the sales value of the product by giving the brand and label on the coconut sugar products sold. A survey of partners showed that 100% of participants were satisfied with the program. The automatic Nira mixer successfully accelerates the coconut sugar production process. Partners have been able to produce cocoa sugar products faster and sell products with attractive packaging.

Abstract

The conventional printed modules used in schools have not been able to make students active and understand chemical concepts. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an interactive multimedia-based e-module grounded in Project Based Learning (PjBL), equipped with videos, images, and interactions to engage students and facilitate easier comprehension of chemical materials. The iam of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of class XI Science Muhammadiyah 1 High School Pontianak. The method used in this research is development (research and development) employing the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The research findings indicate very high criteria with an average validity coefficient of 0.93 for each aspect of media, materials, and language. The practicality analysis, based on the response questionnaires from the small group trial and the main field trial, showed practicality values of 71% and 74%, respectively, both with practical criteria. It can be concluded that the project based learning e-module developed is feasible to be used as an effective and practical learning tool for XI Science students and chemistry teachers in high schools.

Abstract

The habit of the Malay community in using natural materials as fuel can be integrated into chemistry teaching materials in schools. The aim of this research is to assess the validity and practicality of reels as a learning resource and to develop reels based on the ethnoscience of the Ketapang Malay tribe. The research development model used is the Three Stages Research and Development (TSRD) model, which consists of three steps: planning, development, and dissemination. Data collection techniques involve indirect communication using validation sheets and response instruments. The subjects of the research are students from SMA N 1 Sungai Laur. The results of the study indicate that the ethnoscience-based reels of the Malay tribe are valid and practical, with validity and practicality scores of 96.3% and 90.30%, respectively. The reels can be used as an independent, practical, and engaging learning resource that is relevant to students. Therefore, the validity and practicality results of the development of ethnoscience-based reels are expected to serve as an innovative and contextual alternative media for chemistry education in schools.

Abstract

This study explores the innovative use of chitosan from shellfish and natural cellulose as an additive to decrease the viscosity of used lubricating oils. We synthesized and applied chitosan and cellulose as adsorbents to filter impurities and enhance the rheological properties of the oil. During the experiment, different amounts of chitosan and cellulose were used, and the Ostwald method was used to measure the viscosity. As expected, adding more chitosan (20 grams) made the viscosity much better compared to mixes with cellulose. This led to a viscosity of 658.20 cP, while a 15:5 chitosan-to-cellulose ratio made the viscosity the lowest, at 513.06 cP. FTIR analyses confirmed the structural integrity of chitosan post-synthesis. Challenges in optimizing chitosan production, particularly in achieving standard deacetylation levels, were noted as potential limitations. The results suggest that using biopolymers like chitosan and cellulose together is a long-term way to improve oil recovery and reuse, lower waste, and make industrial uses better. In the future, researchers should concentrate on enhancing the manufacturing process of chitosan to enhance its adsorption capabilities, and explore alternative functional modifications that could enhance its utility in a wider range of scenarios

Abstract

Desa Sungai Rasau menghadapi risiko tinggi kebakaran lahan gambut yang menyebabkan kerusakan lingkungan dan membahayakan kesehatan masyarakat. Saat ini, desa belum memiliki tim relawan yang terlatih untuk respons cepat dalam mengatasi kebakaran. Untuk meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat, program pelatihan relawan tanggap bencana dilaksanakan, bertujuan membekali peserta dengan keterampilan teknis seperti penggunaan alat pemadam kebakaran, pemadaman kebakaran, dan koordinasi dalam situasi darurat. Pelatihan diikuti oleh 20 peserta selama satu hari, mencakup sosialisasi risiko kebakaran, praktik penggunaan alat pemadam kebakaran, simulasi kebakaran lahan, serta latihan komunikasi darurat. Hasil survei pascapelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada peserta: 90% lebih memahami risiko kebakaran, 80% terampil menggunakan mesin pemadam kebakaran dan 85% merasa lebih siap berkoordinasi dalam keadaan darurat. Pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan kesiapan relawan dalam menghadapi kebakaran lahan gambut dan memperkuat kapasitas Lembaga Desa Peduli Gambut (LDPG) serta keterlibatan masyarakat. Diharapkan, program ini menjadi model bagi desa lain dalam membangun budaya kesiapsiagaan bencana di tingkat desa.

Abstract

PendIdikan sains memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk generasi muda yang berwawasan luas dan mampu bersaing di era globalisasi. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah melalui implementasi program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) mandiri Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan sains melalui pelatihan penggunaan alat uji elektrolit dan non-elektrolit dalam kegiatan Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Mandiri di SMA Negeri 2 Sandai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen, melibatkan dua kelompok. Subjek penelitian adalah 15 siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Sandai yang dipilih secara purposive random sampling. Pelatihan dilaksanakan selama satu hari, mencakup penjelasan teoretis, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung penggunaan alat uji elektrolit dan non-elektrolit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Pelatihan alat uji elektrolit dan non-elektrolit melalui program MBKM Mandiri di SMA Negeri 2 Sandai berhasil meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan sains, peningkatan signifikan pemahaman konsep, keterampilan praktis, serta motivasi dan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran sains. Pelatihan alat uji elektrolit dan non-elektrolit melalui program MBKM Mandiri di SMA Negeri 2 Sandai berhasil meningkatkan kualitas dibuktikan dengan hasil presentsi dan soal essay di akhir pelatihan, setelah pembelajaran siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap pelatihan, merasa lebih tertarik dan termotivasi dalam mempelajari sains. Dengan demikian, pelatihan alat uji elektrolit dan non-elektrolit dalam kerangka MBKM Mandiri efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan sains di SMA negeri 2 Sandai. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif bagi pengembangan metode pengajaran sains yang lebih interaktif dan kontekstual di sekolah.

Abstract

Area-based development emphasizes the optimal management of local resources to achieve community welfare. Kampung Beting, Pontianak, has great potential in transportation and river tourism but is hindered by a negative stigma as a center for drug trafficking. Through community service programs, business transformation is applied to the boat mining group with automation, installing waterproof canopies, using solar cell lights, and rebranding. The results show increased operational efficiency, revenue, and a regional image change. Innovative marketing strategies that capitalize on historical and cultural potential have successfully enhanced tourist attraction and local community welfare.
