Abstract

Based on the results of teacher interviews low student learning outcomes on sub-material the name of an alkylatine compound because students have not mastered the rules of naming compounds alkyana. The method used in learning is the lecture method. The purpose of this research is to develop a valid learning method, the very and effective conducted in SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak kelasd XI Mia 1 and Mia 3. The type of research used is Research and Dovelopment (R&D). The research and development of chemical relay game method is done through 7 stages of research: data collection, planning, initial product development, initial field trial, initial product revision, main field trials, revision of operational product in class XI students MIA 1 which amounted to 35 people and involving 1 teacher. Results of the analysis showed that the game validation of the chemical relay of the material and media aspects of each of 0.94 and 0.87 with very valid criteria. The percentage of the student response poll and the initial field test teacher and main field test respectively amounted to 97.5% and 92.93% are included in highly-pratist criteria. The results of N-Gain analysis on the initial field trials and main field trials were obtained at a value of 0.83 and 0.90 of high criteria respectively. Thus the methods of the chemical relay game developed worthy of use as a method of learning on sub-material of the name of the Alkyana compound in the XI high school class.

Abstract

Kebutuhan biomaterial dalam bidang medis untuk berbagai keperluan di Indonesia, khususnya Kalimantan Barat terus meningkat. Hal ini disebabkan oleh meningkatnya berbagai kasus kecelakaan yang memerlukan adanya graft tulang. Semakin tingginya permintaan akan graft tulang tidak diimbangi dengan banyaknya material graft tulang sehingga harga graft tulang relatif mahal. Material yang digunakan dalam graft tulang umumnya adalah hidroksiapatit (HAp). HAp berpori diterapkan sebagai  pengganti tulang buatan dengan tujuan memperbaiki dan meregenerasi tulang. Pada penelitian ini, kami mensintesis HAp dari kerang ale-ale yang merupakan hewan endemik Kalimantan Barat dengan metode surfaktan-hidrotermal. Surfaktan yang digunakan adalah surfaktan kationik, yaitu cetil trimethil ammonium bromida (CTAB). Penambahan CTAB mengakibatkan pori HAp yang terbentuk lebih seragam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa HAp telah berhasil disintesis yang ditunjukkan dari uji positif terhadap ion fosfat. Hasil karakterisasi menggunakan XRD menunjukkan bahwa terbentuk fase apatite yang dicirikan dari terbentuknya puncak difraksi pada 2θ (30-35º) dengan derajat kristalinitas 85.34% dan parameter kisi a= 2.814 Å, b=2.720 Å dan c= 2.778 Å. Kata kunci: cetil trimetil ammonium bromida, graft tulang, hidroksiapatit, hidrotermal.

Abstract

The problematic issue of water shortages is always happens in dry season because of rainwater absorption in the peat soil which dominates most of the Borneo region especially Rantau Panjang subdistrict. The river water around peatlands area has typical smell, colour, and taste. Peat water has to be processed rightly before it is used to fulfill domestic needs. Therefore, there should be an effort to process the peat water appropriately through counseling and training in producing simple water purifier which is easy to operate. This dedication on the training in producing water purifier was conducted at Sebawi district in Sambas regency. There were 24 residents of Rantau Panjang subdistricts attended this training. The training began with the counseling in how to produce water purifier. The counseling aimed at transferring knowledge of the importance of clean water for the residents of Rantau Panjang subdistrict. The next activity was the training in producing water purifiers from simply and locally available materials. In this activity, the participants were given opportunity to practice producing water purifier. The participants were so enthusiastic in this training. Keywords: training, producing, water purifier equipment.

Abstract

Nanga Taman Village whose field was about 415 ha and produce 828 tons of corn ears annually is potential natural resource of corn in Kalimantan Barat. As only its kernel has been used before, the other parts became a waste, which is threatening surrounding environment. The corn silk was unused part of the corn which can be converted into herbal tea for keeping body healthy and cure several disease. However, the villager did not have basic knowledge and skill to utilize it. To improve their knowledge, a training course was given as part of community service in Nanga Taman Village. By having this activity, participants’ attitude toward corn silk were improved as well as it offered a solution to reduce their garbage. Keywords: Nanga Taman Village, herbal tea, corn silk

Abstract

The practicum method in chemistry subjects, especially in chemical equilibrium material, is still rare and has never been carried out in schools due to the unavailability of adequate practicum tools. Therefore, a practical tool is needed to make it more straightforward for understudies to comprehend the idea of equilibrium shift. This study aims to develop  a chemical equilibrium practicum tool on the sub-material of equilibrium shift that is legitimate, commonsense and powerful. This sort of exploration is Innovative work (Research and development) model ADDIE (Investigation, Plan, Improvement, Execution, Assessment). The research subjec  was 33 students from two private schools in Pontianak, with 15 and 18 students, respectively. The results showed that the chemical equilibrium practicum instrument created from the material and media viewpoints was pronounced substantial with a typical legitimacy worth of 0.87 and 0.9 with both extremely legitimate rules. The consequences of the reasonableness test got extremely down to earth models with a worth of 98.23%. The part of viability by involving the N-Gain esteem in field preliminaries, the N-Gain esteem is 0.8 with extremely high measures. In this manner the synthetic balance practicum instrument created is doable to be utilized as a learning medium in the sub-material of equilibrium shift.

Abstract

Pemahaman siswa pada sub materi reaksi redoks kelas X MIA di SMAN 1 Hulu Gurung teridentifikasi rendah disebabkan oleh kesulitan dan kebingungan dalam memahami reaksi redoks. Selama ini pembelajaran yang digunakan guru belum mampu membuat siswa memahami reaksi redoks, sehingga perlu dikembangkan media pembelajaran yang dapat memudahkan siswa dalam memahami meteri reaksi redoks. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan media pembelajaran berupa E-Flip LKPD yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar validasi, angket respon siswa, serta lembar pretest dan posttest. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran E-Flip LKPD yang dikembangkan valid dengan nilai rata-rata kevalidan ahli media dan materi berturut-turut sebesar 0,82 dan 0,96 dengan kriteria sangat valid. Presentase hasil angket respon siswa uji coba lapangan awal dan uji coba lapangan utama masing-masing sebesar 94,4% dan 93,2% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Hasil analisis N-Gain pada uji coba lapangan awal dan uji coba lapangan utama diperoleh nilai secara berturut-turut sebesar 0,95 (kriteria sangat tinggi) dan 0,90 ( kriteria sangat tinggi). Dengan demikian, media yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi reaksi redoks di kelas X MIA SMAN 1 Hulu Gurung agar mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Practicum is often not carried out in schools because of the limitations of practical tools. Therefore, it is necessary to develop practical tools to make it easier for students to understand the concept of thermochemistry. This study aims to produce a valid and practical thermochemistry practicum tool. Validity is measured from the material and media aspects using a validation sheet. Meanwhile, practicality was measured using teacher and student response questionnaires. This type of research is research and development (research and development) ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The results of the analysis show that the thermochemical practicum tool developed is declared to be very valid with an average value of 0.94 and 0.92. The results of the practicality test obtained very practical criteria in the initial field trial and the main field trial an average of 94.64% and 97.92%, respectively. Thus, the thermochemistry practicum tool developed is suitable to be used as a medium for learning thermochemical material.

Abstract

The difficulty of students in learning chemistry subjects is due to the use of media that is not in accordance with the characteristics of students who want fun-based learning. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a Lego hydrocarbon learning media that is suitable for use as a learning medium for hydrocarbon materials. This study aims to produce a feasible and practical Lego hydrocarbon learning media. The feasibility of the Lego hydrocarbon learning media in terms of two criteria, namely (1) validity is determined from the validation results, (2) practicality is determined from student response questionnaires. This type of research is research and development of the ADDIE model. The results showed that the Lego hydrocarbons learning media was suitable for use as learning media with the eligibility criteria measured from the results of the validity of the material aspects and the aspects of the Lego hydrocarbons media of 0.95 and 0.92, respectively, with very valid criteria. The percentage of practicality from the results of student responses in the initial field trial and the main field trial were 90.42% and 95.64%, respectively, with both very practical criteria. Thus, the Lego hydrocarbon learning media is appropriate to be used as a chemistry learning medium

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran model inkuiri terbimbing berbasis blended learning melibatkan peserta didik berperan aktif karena adanya proses praktikum sederhana yang dilakukan di rumah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik yang diajarkan dengan model inkuiri terbimbing berbasis blended learning dan model pembelajaran konvensional pada materi asam basa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian semu (Quasi Experimental) dengan rancangan nonequivalent. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA 1 dan XI IPA 2 yang berjumlah 70 peserta didik. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, dengan nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen sebesar 84,43 lebih tinggi dibanding kelas kontrol sebesar 79,29 dengan nilai effect size sebesar 27,34% yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Dengan demikian model inkuiri terbimbing dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran karena dapat mendorong peserta didik lebih aktif dalam pembelajaran sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Pemahaman konsep siswa dipengaruhi oleh model pembelajaran yang diterapkan oleh guru. Pembelajaran cenderung menerapkan model konvensional yang membuat siswa kurang memahami konsep, sehingga diperlukan alternatif model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi asam basa. Salah satu alternatif model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan adalah model Project Based Learning (PjBL). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Perbedaan dan Efektivitas Pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi Larutan Asam Basa kelas XI IPA dan XI IPS 1 MAN 3 Pontianak antara model pembelajaran PjBL dengan model Pembelajaran Konvensional. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan Quasy Eksperimental. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling, diperoleh kelas XI IPS 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan XI IPA sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik pengukuran, observasi dan wawancara. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah tes  hasil belajar siswa berbentuk pilihan ganda dengan tipe (two tier multiple choice), lembar observasi dan lembar wawancara. Hasil uji statistik menggunakan uji U Mann Whitney dengan Asymp sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 < 0,05 yang berarti Ha diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep yang dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa antra yang diajarkan menggunakan model PjBL dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Model PjBL efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa dengan nilai Effect Size sebesar 2,78 dengan persentase efektivitas sebesar 49,73%
