Abstract

Adolescent is a period of transition from child to adult. Change of adolescent is sign with thesexual organs. Adolescent not only identified the physical changes, but also the psychological.One of that is risk sexual behavior in adolescent, Risk behavior sexual can bring consequencesthat unwanted abortion, pregnancy outside of marriage, of contracting sexually transmitteddiseases (STDs), and HIV / AIDS. One of the factors that influence adolescent sexual behavioris personality which consists of extrovert and introvert. The purpose of this research was todetermine the correlation of personality types with risk adolescent sexual behavior. Thisresearch design was a descriptive analytic study using cross-sectional approach. The samplesare 68 respondents,Sampling technique used multistage random sampling. The instrumentused a questionnaire sheet. Analysis of bivariate data used chi square test showed that thevalue of ρ value = 0.001 (<α=0.05) and odd ratio (OR) = 7,556, so it can be concluded thatthere is a correlation between personality type with risk sexual behavior of adolescence atSMKN "X" Jember. This research suggested to the health employee is to promote reproductionof sexual education for decrease risk sexual behavior.Keywords: Personality Type, Risk Sexual Behavior, Adolescent

Abstract

Violence was an incident of physical injury, mental and sexual abuse were commonly made bypeople who have a responsibility for the wellnes of the children who was indicated by loss andthreats to the health and wellnes of the child . The purpose of this study was to determined thecorrelation of parenting with violence risk of adolescents in the Village District of PatrangPatrang Jember . The design of this study was used observational analytic design with crosssectional approach . This research was used 92 respondents as a sample by using purposivesampling . The results of the study was showed 50 parents did a good parenting and 62 juvenile(67,4%) didn’t have a violent risk. The Analyzed used chi - square 95 % CI ( α = 0.05), withodds ratios got p value 0.025 < α ( 0.05), and odds ratio ( OR ) 2.929 as the result . Theconclusion of the study was that there a correalation between parenting with the risk of violencein adolescents and the good parenting shall be have 2,929 times chance for decrease the riskof violence in juvenile than the didn’t one.Keywords: parenting , violence , juvenile

Abstract

Nutrition is influenced by some factors, such as giving complementary breastfeeding. Complementary breastfeeding is food or drink contains of nutrition which is given to baby or 6-24 month ages kid for completing the nutrition need besides breastfeeding. The phenomenon in society shows that complementary breastfeeding is given to baby who is under 6 months years old. It is called by the early complementary breastfeeding. The purpose of this observation is to analyze the correlation between giving early complementary breastfeeding and level baby nutrition 0-6 month in work area of Rowotengah community health center in Jember. The design of this observation uses analytic observational. The taking of sample uses non probability sampling technique with simple random sampling. The population of this observation is 0-6 month babies who are listed in Rowotengah community health center in jember which are 496 babies. The determining of the sample uses purposive sampling technique, which are 50 respondents. The processing of the data uses Chi Square test with the credibility is 95% (α=0, 05). The result of the statistic test shows the probability number which is 0,008 (p< 0, 05), so there is correlation between giving early complementary breastfeeding and level baby nutrition 0-6 month in work area of Rowotengah community health center in Jember. Abstract

HIV/AIDS is a infectious disease due to human immunodeficiency virus that attacks the bodyimmune system. The number of HIV/AIDS cases among teenagers is still high because of theteenagers’ limited knowledge and attitude about HIV/AIDS. One way to improve teenagers’knowledge and attitude related to HIV/AIDS through health education by Course Review Horay(CRH) method. This research aimed to determine the effect of health education by course reviewhoray method on knowledge and attitudes of teenagers toward HIV/AIDS at SMK (Vocational HighSchool) Darus Sholihin Puger. The method used in was quasi experiment with non-equivalent controlgroup approach with a sample size of 36 students. Data analysis used wilcoxon test and mann uwhitney with a 95% confidence level (α = 0.05). Results of data analysis showed that there weredifferences in knowledge and attitudes in the experimental and control groups as evidenced by thevalue of mann u whitney p = 0.000 on knowledge and attitudes p = 0.001 (p <α). It is concluded thatthere is an effect of health education by CRH method on knowledge and attitudes of teenagers aboutHIV/AIDS. Nurses are expected to implement health education by CRH method to increase theknowledge and attitudes of teenagers related to HIV/AIDS.Keywords: Health Education, CRH, Attitude, Knowledge, HIV / AIDS.

Abstract

Overweight has not received much attention from caregiver. Overweight was caused by the lack of activity which was indicated by the overdeposit of fat with the value of standard deviation >+2SD. Overweight in toddlerwould caused 1,8 times overweight in adulthood. Exclusive breastfeeding was one of the ways of preventthe overweightincidence. The purpose of this research was to analyze the difference of the toddler who are given exclusive breastfeeding with the ones with nonexclusive breastfeeding regarding the overweightincidence to 1-2 years old toddler. This research used retrospectivedescriptive analysis design. The sampling collection method used in this research is total sampling, with 36 respondents involved. The results of this research reveal that 18 toddler received exclusive breastfeeding,whereas the other 18 received nonexclusive breastfeeding. The results of the statistical test reveal used Fisher Exact Test (α=0,05) and the p value = 1,000 (p value ≥ 0,05), thus the difference of the overweightincidence to 1-2 years old toodler with the exclusive and nonexclusive breastfeeding history at Tanggul Kulon under the coverage area of Tanggul Primary Health Center Tanggul Sub-District Jember Regency did not exist. Nursing of pediatriccan reduced the incidance of overweight by health education to mothers to raised awareness of importance of used exclusive breastfeeding, so the overweight does not occur. Abstract

Nurse is the most appropriate medical staff to give medicine and vacate their time for the patients. In giving medicine, nurse also must concern on the given prescription must be appropriate, the exact qualification of dosis that is given and always applying 12 principles right away. This condition might cause the occurrence of interaction between the characteristic of a nurse that is her motivation and his work. The purpose of the research is to analyze the relation of nurse’s motivation and applied of 12 principles of right in giving medicine in inpatient wards of dr. H. Koesnadi hospital in Bondowoso. The design of this research that is used is observational analysis with cross sectional and sample approach used 51 correspondences. Data collection technique is sample probability with simply random sampling. The result of the data analysis used chi square test. The result show that P value 0.005 (0.005< α=0.05) means that there is relation between nurse’s motivation and the applies 12 principles of right in giving medicines having this research, hopefully for the institution of the hospital for increase even more the nurse’s motivation in working by giving reward and punishment to the nurses and give them special seminar related to 12 principles of right in giving medicines.   Keywords: nurse’s motivation, 12 principles of right in giving medicines, inpatient wards

Abstract

Leprosy is chronic disease that caused by germs Mycobacterium leprae and could be caused problems relating to physical health that associated with a disability. Clients leprosy with disability can prevent with wearing universal precaution. The research done by observational analytic design. Design of collecting data was the level of disability and questionnare of users universal precaution. The respondent was only undergo treatment of MDT in the workplace of Jenggawah Health Centers and Tempurejo Health Centers who are 17 client leprosy. Based on research conducted that clients leprosy (35.3%) wear universal precaution and the clients leprosy (64.7%) not wear of universal precaution.Data analyzed with the technique of chi square correction. The result of a correction Fisher’s Exact test p value 0.010 show there was the relation of universal precaution with the level of disability clients leprosy. The results of research is expected to be the basis of promotion programs, prevention, and the aggrandizement of leprosy in Indonesia by integrating model intervention nursing of community and involving the related agencies.
