Abstract

In the modern era of population growth is increasing, the increase in the number of population then increased also the means of transportation that causes traffic congestion. intersection are the concentration of traffic issues that become one of the main causes of traffic congestion, this is because the intersection is where the migration of cars from one to the other road segments. Traffic lights are the lights used to curb road users crossing a road junction, but most traffic lights do not run optimally, causing traffic congestion. In this study proposed a method of genetic algorithm for optimization of the traffic lights with the aim of getting the model movement of car and get the fitness function model for the optimization of traffic light so as to get traffic lights are optimal on each road segment base on total average number of cars were able to pass through the intersection . Base on scenarios testing 1, produces lights optimal on each road segment, namely roads 1 and roads 3 for 49 seconds for green time, roads 2 and the road 4 for 55 seconds for green time means total average number of cars passing through the intersection of as many as 81 cars and Base on scenarios testing 2, produces lights optimal on each road segment, namely roads 1 and roads 3 for 56 seconds for green time, roads 2 and the road 4 for 54 seconds for green time means total average number of cars passing through the intersection of as many as 95 cars.

Abstract

Microblog has been used as an information source to detect real-world event. Several related studies retrieved road traffic event based on textual content. Not only detect traffic incident, we found that it is necessary to recognize statuses with similar traffic incident content. Better representation of traffic information will help the handling of traffic incident by related parties. This study proposes text-based approach for identification of similar traffic incident from twitter posts. The proposed approach performs traffic incident information extraction and calculates information’s weight based on textual similarity upon traffic incident information gained. We evaluate the proposed method by using a traffic incident information retrieval system. We used Indonesian language corpus contains traffic incident tweets data. Best average f-measure 70% was achieved by retrieval system that tested using Jaccard coefficient. Therefore text matching such as Jaccard coefficient is more suitable to be implemented in very short text document such as extracted tweet document. The experiment result gives the conclusion that the proposed approach can be implemented for identification of similar traffic incident information from Twitter.

Abstract

The increase of smartphone ability is rapidly increasing the power consumption. Many methods have been proposed to reduce smartphone power consumption. Most of these methods use the internet connection control based on the availability of the battery power level regardless of when and where a waste of energy occurs. This paper proposes a new approach to control the internet connection based on idle time using user behavior pattern analysis. User behavior patterns are used to predict idle time duration. Internet connection control performed during idle time. During idle time internet connection periodically switched on and off by a certain time interval. This method effectively reduces a waste of energy. Control of the internet connection does not interfere the user because it is implemented on idle time.Keywords: Smartphone, User Behavior, Pattern Recognition, Idle Time, Internet Connection Control

Abstract

Investigasi kecelakaan penerbangan di Indonesia pada tahun 2010 sampai 2016 sebesar 212 investigasi. Hal tersebut dapat dihindari apabila ada sistem penerbangan yang dapat memastikan penerbangan berjalan aman, seperti sistem lalu lintas udara yang dapat mendeteksi apabila pesawat bergerak menuju ke arah yang salah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengelompokkan rute penerbangan pada data Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast menggunakan metode clustering untuk mendapatkan similaritas rute penerbangan. Penulis mengusulkan metode particle swarm optimization untuk mengoptimalkan metode k-means, yang berguna untuk menentukan titik centroid awal dengan silhouette coefficient sebagai fitness function. Hasil dari penelitian ini menghasilkan zona terbang berdasarkan kebiasaan sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai panduan penerbangan. Pengujian dilakukan dengan membandingkan nilai Davies-Bouldin index dengan metode k-means, k-medoids dan fuzzy c-means. Pada uji coba yang dilakukan, metode yang diusulkan menjadi kelompok metode terbaik pada lima dari enam segmen yang ada serta menghasilkan nilai Davies-Bouldin index lebih baik pada satu segmen sebesar 0,779.

Abstract

Anomaly detection of flight route can be analyzed with the availability of flight data set. Automatic Dependent Surveillance (ADS-B) is the data set used. The parameters used are timestamp, latitude, longitude, and speed. The purpose of the research is to determine the optimum area for anomaly detection through real time approach. The methods used are: a) clustering and cluster validity analysis; and b) False Identification Rate (FIR). The results archieved are four steps, i.e: a) Build segments based on waypoints; b) Partition area based on 3-Dimension features P1 and P2; c) grouping; and d) Measurement of cluster validity. The optimum partition is generated by calculating the minimum percentage of FIR. The results achieved are: i) there are five partitions, i.e: (n/2, n/3, n/4, n/5) and ii) optimal partition of each 3D, that is: for P1 was five partitions and the P2 feature was four partitions

Abstract

The important aspect of planning and managing software development project is to estimate the cost of a project. There are several methods for estimating the cost of a software development project, and the Analogy method is a method which gives relatively better estimates. This paper shows that the modified Analogy method selects a closer project reference, estimates more accurate project effort and cost. This study enhances the cost estimate technique by including valid and complete cost parameters, therefore the estimate of a project cost is better than the result of the standard Analogy method.

Abstract

Hearing impairment students have limited vocabulary and have difficulty understanding abstract terms, which affects learning the concept of a plane solid figure that they know at school. Deaf students tend to have difficulty perceiving objects from a certain point of view and understanding the relationship between these objects in a particular space. These difficulties affect students' spatial abilities and require special handling in the form of learning-oriented to the learning process, not learning outcomes. The learning process itself can be determined by information systems such as the basis of cybernetic theory and supported by information technology-based interactive learning media. Therefore, this study aims to develop augmented reality media based on cybernetic learning theory to stimulate valid and practical spatial abilities of deaf students. The research and development model carried out in this study is the Borg and Gall model, which has systematic and descriptive steps for practical problems in teaching through applied research. Researchers collected data through validation questionnaires and student response questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. The augmented reality media developed here can be said to meet the criteria of validity and practicality based on the results of the product feasibility test. This media has also proven to be a solution in helping teachers to stimulate the spatial abilities of deaf students through a meaningful learning process determined by a technology-assisted information system

Abstract

Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) merupakan pondasi awal bagi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan selanjutnya. Ontologis anak sebagai makhluk mempunyai aspek biologis dan psikologis. Pembelajaran pada anak usia dini haruslah menggunakan konsep belajar melalui bermain, belajar sambil berbuat, serta melalui stimulasi PAUD berdasarkan aspek pedagogis. Dari segi empiris PAUD sangat penting, antara lain menjelaskan bahwa pada waktu manusia lahir, kelengkapan organisasi otak memuat 100-200 milyar sel otak yang siap dikembangkan serta diaktualisasikan mencapai tertinggi. Selain itu tujuan PAUD yang ingin dicapai adalah mengembangkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman orang tua dan guru serta pihak-pihak yang terkait dengan pendidikan dan perkembangan anak usia dini. Oleh karenanya sangat penting bagi guru-guru PAUD untuk senantiasa mengevaluasi dan memperbaharui kurikulum dan metode pengajaran kepada anak-anak usia dini ini. Selain melalui pemahaman dan pengaplikasian penduan yang dibuat oleh dinas pendidikan setempat, juga yang tidak pentingnya adalah berdiskusi dan memahami perkembangan teknologi informasi terkini, baik dijadikan sebagai sisipan bahan ajar, maupun sebagai perangkat bantu pengajaran. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini akan dilaksanakan diskusi penyusunan Rencana Program Pembelajaran (RPP) serta pelatihan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran kepada anak-anak usia dini. Diharapkan melalui kegiatan ini guru-guru PAUD dapat mengikuti perkembangan teknologi terkini serta dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran kepada siswa-siswa PAUD yang diasuhnya

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemahaman siswa tunarungu terhadap konsep lingkaran berdasarkan gaya belajarnya. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 10 siswa tunarungu di SLB Negeri 2 Bantul. Instrumen penelitian campuran dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif ini berupa instrumen tes gaya belajar, instrumen tes pemahaman, pedoman observasi, dan pedoman wawancara. Analisis data penelitian dilakukan selama dan setelah pengumpulan data agar data yang diperoleh tersusun secara sistematis dan lebih mudah ditafsirkan. Dalam penelitian ini analisis data kuantitatif dilakukan melalui analisis statistik deskriptif dengan menyajikan hasil tes pemahaman maupun hasil tes gaya belajar siswa dalam bentuk diagram. Analisis data kualitatif dilakukan secara induktif dimulai dengan menelaah seluruh data hasil wawancara dan observasi, kemudian reduksi data, penyajian, dan verifikasi sampai diperoleh suatu kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa gaya belajar siswa tunarungu adalah visual, kinestetik dan kombinasi keduanya (visual-kinestetik). Dari hasil analisis juga diperoleh bahwa gaya belajar yang dimiliki siswa memiliki keterkaitan dan pengaruh terhadap capaian pemahaman siswa. Terdapat empat aspek pemahaman lingkaran yang dicapai siswa dengan nilai melebihi KKM, yaitu aspek menginterpretasikan, mengelompokkan, memberi contoh dan membandingkan. Sedangkan tiga aspek pemahaman lainnya yaitu meringkas, menjelaskan dan menyimpulkan masih berada di bawah KKM.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran lingkaran dengan augmented reality berbasis Android yang valid dan praktis bagi siswa tunarungu. Media pembelajaran tersebut akan dinilai kelayakannya dari segi kevalidan dan kepraktisan. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri atas empat tahap yaitu analisis, pendesainan, pengembangan, implementasi dan tahap evaluasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 17 siswa tunarungu kelas VII, VIII dan IX di SLBN 2 Bantul. Instrumen penelitian ini terdiri dari instrumen angket penilaian kevalidan dari segi materi dan media, serta lembar angket respon siswa. Analisis data skor validasi ahli dan skor respon siswa yang berbentuk skor skala lima (kategori kuantitatif), dikonversi ke dalam kategori kualitatif. Hasil penelitian berupa media lingkaran dengan augmented reality berbasis Android yang valid dan praktis. Ditinjau dari hasil penilaian ahli materi dan ahli media, kevalidan media termasuk kategori sangat baik. Sedangkan dari penilaian respon siswa, kepraktisan media termasuk kategori sangat baik. Siswa tunarungu terlihat antusias menggunakan media pembelajaran yang mengakomodir keterbatasan indra pendengarannya, melalui penyajian teks sebagai pengganti audio dalam mengilustrasikan konten visual konsep lingkaran. Meskipun sudah memenuhi kriteria kevalidan dan kepraktisan, namun media yang dikembangkan masih memiliki keterbatasan yang memerlukan adanya penelitian lebih lanjut menurut penilaian guru.
