Abstract

The dynamic Industry 4.0 requires a workforce that meets industry standards. The quality of education, particularly in vocational high schools, significantly influences the quality of human resources. Vocational high schools are dedicated to preparing students to directly apply their learning in the working world. The aim of this research is to analyze production oriented learning using the teaching factory approach in motivating the production of 'siomay' at SMK 1 Warunggunung. This study employs a quantitative descriptive method and is validated through expert validation using the validity test based on Aiken's V index. Data collection is conducted through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation as supporting evidence. The research findings indicate that, based on the 7 indicators of the teaching factory from the Directorate of Vocational High School Development, the teaching factory approach at SMK 1 Warunggunung falls short of these 7 indicators. The analysis of the teaching factory approach toward student motivation yields an average score of 133.04 and an interval of 109, falling into the high category. This is depicted through descriptive statistical results, revealing that only a portion of students have low learning motivation and there is a need for focused guidance.  Keywords: Business World Industrial World, Industry 4.0, Learning Motivation, Teaching Factory,

Abstract

Pramuka Island is one of the islands in the Seribu Islands which has a number of marine ecosystems such as seagrass and macrozoobenthos. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between seagrass density and macrozoobenthos abundance. This research was carried out by applying the purposive sampling method to determine research locations at 3 stations and 3 plots with 50 m transect lines and Pearson Product Moment or simple correlation analysis to determine the relationship between seagrass density and macrozoobenthos abundance. The seagrass species found on Pramuka Island form mixed vegetation with 5 seagrass species and the highest density is Thalassia hemprichii. The macrozoobenthos found included the Holothuroidea, Bivalvia and Gastropod classes with the highest abundance being the Holothuroidea class. The relationship between seagrass density and macrozoobenthos abundance shows a strong relationship with a correlation value of 0.997 and shows a positive (+) linear direction, meaning that the higher the seagrass density value, the higher the macrozoobenthos abundance.

Abstract

Sawarna White Sand Beach is one of the beaches in Lebak Regency, which is located in the south of Java Island and directly adjacent to the Indian Ocean. It has surfing potential which is quite famous to foreign countries. It turns out that the existing tourism potential has not been properly supported by the community and local government, the management of tourism which is still lacking makes these tourism objects tend to be left behind and not managed properly. The purpose of this study is to determine the suitability and carrying capacity of the surfing tourism area at the Sawarna White Sand Beach tourist attraction, and to formulate alternative strategies that can be applied in developing surfing tourism at that location. This analysis uses the calculation of the suitability index formula for surfing tourism, the formula for the carrying capacity of the beach tourism area for the surfing category, and SOAR analysis. The results of the analysis that has been carried out show the results of the suitability value of surfing tourism in Surf Zone 1 of 95% which belongs to the S1 category (very suitable), while the suitability value of surfing tourism in Surf Zone 2 is 65% which belongs to the S2 category (suitable), with the carrying capacity of the surfing tourism area as measured along Surf Zone 1 and Surf Zone 2 is 65 people/day. As for the results of the analysis that has been carried out using the SOAR matrix, there are 3 leading alternative strategies that can be carried out in developing surfing tourism at the Sawarna White Sand Beach tourist attraction in the form of forming management and placing human resources in managing more complex and organized tourism objects, carrying out development the availability of supporting facilities for complete and sustainable surfing tourism, and also followed by tourism promotion through the provision of surfing championship events held at the Sawarna White Sand Beach tourist attraction.

Abstract

Abstract

South Kalih and Panjang Islands are located in Banten Bay, small island with environmental conditions adjacent to the center of industrial activities. Industrial activities near the waters can increase the risk of heavy metal pollution, thereby affecting the quality of the aquatic environment. This study aims to evaluate the condition of aquatic environmental quality based on heavy metal content in sediments. Sediment sampling was conducted at ten observation stations using a purposive random sampling method. Heavy metal analysis was performed using the Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (FAAS). The results indicate that South Kalih Island accumulated more Pb heavy metals with an average of 2.7922 mg kg⁻¹, while the highest accumulation of Cu heavy metals was on Panjang Island with an average of 5.7188 mg kg⁻¹. The accumulation of heavy metals Pb and Cu in the sediments in South Kalih and Panjang Island was below the standard threshold, except at PPS5P1 of Panjang Island, where Cu concentrations exceeded the CCME (2002) quality guideline. Areas with dense anthropogenic activities are more likely to increase the accumulation of heavy metals in the waters.
