Abstract

Kemampuan membaca permulaan merupakan bagian penting dari perkembangan anak usia dini. Di jenjang pendidikan usia dini, guru mengajarkan kemampuan membaca permulaan. Dalam rangka meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak usia dini banyak media yang dapat digunakan salah satunya media kartu bergambar. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka pada penelitian ini akan diteliti mengenai penerapan media kartu bergambar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan partisipan. Analisis data menggunakan Miles dan Huberman. Hasil dari penggunaan media kartu bergambar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan anak dalam membaca permulaan menunjukkan hasil yang baik. Di mana berdasarkan hasil observasi maupun  wawancara menunjukkan dari 22 orang anak di PAUD SPS Bougenvil sebagian besar anak sudah dapat membaca permulaan. 17 anak setara dengan 77,27% sudah mahir membaca dan sisanya sebanyak 5 anak setara dengan 22,73% belum mahir membaca permulaan.

Abstract

Peran guru dalam pendidikan sangat penting, namun mutu guru di Indonesia masih di bawah standar. Salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi mutu guru adalah kesejahteraan mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara persepsi mahasiswa terhadap profesi guru dan minat mereka menjadi guru, dengan fokus pada kesejahteraan guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis statistik ANOVA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil nilai Sig. sebesar 0,282 > 0,05, bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara persepsi mahasiswa terhadap profesi guru dan minat mereka menjadi guru dengan kesejahteraan guru. Meskipun demikian, temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya memperhatikan kesejahteraan guru dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan secara keseluruhan. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya adalah melibatkan variabel lain yang mungkin memengaruhi kesejahteraan guru dan minat mahasiswa menjadi guru, serta melakukan penelitian secara lebih mendalam tentang faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi mutu guru di Indonesia.

Abstract

Anak dianggap sebagai amanah yang diberikan Allah kepada orang tua. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan anak sejak usia dini memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter moral dan spiritual anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh dari metode bercerita terhadap perkembangan nilai agama moral anak usia dini di RA Asy-Syarauniyyah Pondok Leungsir. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan desain eksperimen quasi, penelitian ini melibatkan 24 peserta didik. Setelah penerapan metode bercerita selama empat pertemuan, terlihat peningkatan dalam pemahaman dan penginternalisasian nilai agama dan moral pada anak. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa metode bercerita berpengaruh secara positif terhadap perkembangan nilai agama dan moral anak usia dini di RA Asy-Syarauniyyah. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis nilai Sig. dari tabel coefficients diperoleh nilai Sig. sebesar 0,03 < 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel metode bercerita (X) berpengaruh terhadap variabel nilai agama moral (Y). Mengacu pada dasar pengambilan keputusan uji hipotesis bahwa jika nilai Sig. < 0,05 H0 ditolak, maka dalam penelitian ini H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, artinya Metode bercerita ini memiliki pengaruh atau berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan nilai agama moral anak usia dini di RA Asy-Syarauniyyah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the efforts of teachers in improving social skills of children aged 5-6 years through the role-playing method in Kober Insan Madani. Social skills are children's ability to interact positively with others, including the ability to cooperate, share, and resolve conflicts. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the role-playing method is effective in improving children's social skills. Through careful planning, creative execution, and structured evaluation, children learn to understand social roles, empathy, and how to communicate well. The obstacles found include the lack of attention of children during activities and the limitations of play facilities and infrastructure. However, these obstacles can be overcome by teacher innovation in providing interesting learning media and involving parents in supporting activities. This research provides benefits for teachers, parents, and educational institutions in improving early childhood social skills. The application of the role-playing method has been proven to be able to create a fun and educational learning experience, so that it can be one of the effective strategies in learning in early childhood education.

Abstract

This study aims to improve children's independence through role-playing methods based on practical life in group A at TK Satu Atap Neglasari, Kalibunder District, Sukabumi Regency. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart spiral model, consisting of two cycles. Each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed that the role-playing method based on practical life was effective in increasing children's independence, especially in decision-making, completing simple tasks, and responsibility. In cycle I, children's independence increased by 20%, and in cycle II, it increased to 40%. The conclusion of this study is that the role-playing method based on practical life can be an effective learning alternative to improve early childhood independence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the foot-and-hand educational carpet playmate game in improving early childhood gross motor skills in the age group of 5-6 years. Gross motor skills are abilities that involve the coordination of large muscles such as hands, feet, and the body as a whole, which is very important to support the physical development of children. This research is motivated by the need for fun, interactive, and effective learning strategies to develop early childhood gross motor skills. The research method used is Classroom Action Research with the Kemmis and McTaggart model which consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of the study is 5-6 years old children at KB Al Mahmudin, with a total of 20 students. Data was collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and field notes. Data analysis techniques were carried out in a qualitative and quantitative descriptive manner to see the improvement of children's gross motor skills. The results of the study show that the implementation of the foot-and-hand educational carpet playmate game can significantly improve children's gross motor skills. Children showed improvements in aspects of balance, coordination of movements, agility, and muscle strength. The learning process becomes more interesting because this game provides a hands-on experience that involves active physical movements of the child. In addition, teachers and parents responded positively to this method because it was able to create a fun and interactive learning atmosphere. This study concludes that the foot-and-hand educational carpet playmate game is an effective learning medium to improve early childhood gross motor. This study recommends the use of this game in daily learning activities in early childhood education institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the reading skills of early childhood children through ABACAGA card media in Group B SPS Mekar Karya IV Babakan Baru. Reading ability is a basic skill that plays an important role in children's cognitive development and their readiness to enter further education. Based on initial observations, it was found that many children still have difficulty in recognizing letters, composing words, and reading fluently. The lack of interesting learning methods is also a factor in children's low interest in reading. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of two cycles. Each cycle includes the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of the study were children in group B at SPS Mekar Karya IV Babakan Baru. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the use of ABACAGA cards can significantly improve children's reading skills. At the pre-cycle stage, children's reading skills were still low, but after being given intervention through ABACAGA card media, there was a significant increase in letter recognition, words, and simple reading comprehension. This media has proven effective in attracting children's interest and motivating them to learn to read in a more interactive and enjoyable way. Therefore, this study provides encouragement for educators, especially PAUD teachers, in implementing more innovative learning methods. In addition, this study can also be a reference for further research in the field of early childhood literacy.

Abstract

Kondisi kesehatan mental anak usia dini merupakan salah satu aspek perkembangan yang harus diperhatikan dan dikembangkan karena kesehatan mental anak akan sangat berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan yang ditunjukkan oleh anak salah satunya dalam hasil belajarnya. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitaif survey, melakukan analisis mengenai hubungan antara kesehatan mental anak terhadap hasil belajar anak usia 5-6 tahun dengan responden yaitu para pendidik di lembaga PAUD di Kabupaten Sukabumi, yang terdiri dari 43 pendidik PAUD yang berasal dari Kecamatan Parungkuda sebagai sampel penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa kesehatan mental memiliki hubungan yang kuat dan positif terhadap hasil belajar anak dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 44,22%. Artinya, hasil belajar anak 44,22% dipengaruhi oleh kesehatan mentalnya. Hal ini didukung oleh hasil nilai signifikansi hasil olah data lapangan yang menunjukkan bahwa kesehatan mental berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar anak usia 5-6 tahun di Kabupaten Sukabumi.

Abstract

Ditemukan adanya minim kualifikasi S1 PAUD yang dimiliki pendidik PAUD di Kota Sukabumi karena banyaknya yang belum memenuhi kualifikasi S1 PAUD dan S1 yang belum linear. Melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan yang diadakan oleh HIMPAUDI dan instansi lain seperti Dinas Pendidikan Kota Sukabumi, semua pendidik PAUD dituntut untuk selalu aktif memberikan pengarahan kepada peserta didik, melakukan observasi pada proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh pendidikan dan pelatihan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional pendidik PAUD di kota sukabumi. Data yang dikumpulkan dari lapangan berupa data kuantitatif yang diolah dengan menggunakan statistika dan metode deskriptif. Pengaruh pendidikan dan pelatihan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional pendidik PAUD di kota sukabumi terhadap kinerja guru dapat diperlihatkan dari hasil uji hipotesis yang diambil kesimpulan bahwa pendidikan dan pelatihan memiliki pengaruh dalam peningkatan kompetensi profesional pendidik PAUD di Kota Sukabumi.

Abstract

This study was Motivated by the researcher's initial findings that the speaking ability of children aged 5-6 at PAUD Dara Bhakti had not yet emerged. This can be seen from 15 students at PAUD Dara Bhakti. Data obtained around 66.7% or as many as 10 children were still included in the category of children who had not developed, then 2 children were said to be starting to develop or around 13.3% while in children who developed according to expectations only around 20% or around 3 students and no children were found with very good development. Seeing this situation is very unfortunate, because children's speaking abilities include correct pronunciation, simple sentence structure, vocabulary, fluency, and good understanding. In order to improve speaking abilities in children aged 5-6 years, researchers plan to use a role-playing method in learning that aims to improve speaking abilities in early childhood at PAUD Dara Bhakti. In this study, the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method was Used using 2 cycles where each cycle was carried out five times with different role-playing themes. The results of the study showed that the role-playing method Can improve speaking abilities by 80%. The increase in the percentage of speaking ability in children aged 5-6 years from before the action from 6.7% to cycle I to 26.7% increased by 20%. Then from cycle I 26.7% to cycle II to 80% increased by 53.3%
