Abstract

Legal awareness is self-awareness without pressure, coercion, or orders from outside to submit to applicable law. With the running of legal awareness in the community, the law does not need to impose sanctions. Sanctions are only imposed on citizens who have proven to be violating the law. One of the legal problems today is the low awareness of the legal community, resulting in many violations of the law. The methods used in community service activities are lectures, discussions, questions and answers and simulations, so that the activities can run without boundaries and boundaries between the community service team and the community. Likewise in the implementation of community service, the service team applies the lecture, discussion, question and answer and simulation methods and uses a contextual approach in providing counseling and briefing to the community about the impact it has on the mindset of society related to traffic order. Initially, legal awareness mostly revolves around the mindset that assumes that awareness in the community is a deciding factor as a law. With the socialization carried out by the community service team, citizens became more sensitive and concerned about the importance of orderly traffic so that eventually Good Citizenship was formed.

Abstract

Dewan Perwakilan Rakya Daerah (DPRD) adalah lembaga legislatif yang ada di tingkat daerah yang memiliki tugas mengembangkan keterampilan kewarganegaraan dimasyarakat. Tidak hanya menjadi kepanjangan tangan dari partai politik saja, tapi juga memiliki tugas besar sebagai wakil masyarakat yang menyampaikan aspirasi rakyat. Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1)Mendeskripsikan Model komunikasi politik yang dilakukan oleh anggota DPRD Kabupaten Magelang dalam upaya penguasaan keterampilan kewarganegaraan (civic skills) masyarakat di Kabupaten Magelang. (2)Menguraikan tahapan  komunikasi politik anggota DPRD sebagai upaya penguasaan keterampilan kewarganegaraan (civic skills) masyarakat di Kabupaten Magelang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif.

Abstract

Persoalan Radikalisme di Indonesia saat ini telah menjadi salah satu ancaman nasional. Ideologi-ideologi radikal terus mengikis nasionalisme bangsa ini. Radikalisme menjadi embrio lahirnya terorisme, dimana ideologi tersebut dapat dengan mudah mempengaruhi masyarakat sipil di Indonesia untuk menjadi pelaku teror yang dapat membahayakan masyarakat luas. Program-program deradikalisasi melalui penguatan pendidikan karakter siswa dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif soft power dalam menangkal ideologi-ideologi radikal. Melalui program penguatan karakter ini siswa dapat diarahkan untuk mengikis sejak dini sikap dan paham radikal. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk menangkal radikalisme melalui penguatan karakter siswa di MTs Arrosyidin Magelang. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahapan dengan menggunakan unsur-unsur pembelajaran aktif, kreatif, efektif, dan menyenangkan. Tahapan pertama adalah penyampaian materi dengan menggunakan metode ceramah dan tanya jawab dengan PAKEM berbasis karakter. Tahapan kedua dilaksanakan dalam bentuk menonton video, diskusi dan praktek dengan PAKEM berbasis karakter. Tahapan ketiga berupa evaluasi dan refleksi bersama guru. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa penyuluhan menangkal radikalisme dengan penguatan karakter membelajarkan beberapa nilai-nilai karakter secara tidak langsung, yaitu tanggung jawab, disiplin, jujur, kerja sama, dan sederhana.

Abstract

The study is done to see how Pancasila Education and Civic Education subject strategies as a college education compulsory in character building sublime Pancasila students based on personality. Background research is related to problems that occur in the country: anarchism, radikalisme, terrorism, and other. These problems can undermine the unity of the Republic of Indonesia. The research is in University and the University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto Tidar Nusa Cendana. But this research is qualitative descriptive method which is through observation, interview, and documentation. The validity of data over (trianggulasi) sources and methods. Data and analysis is by reduction, presentation of data, and the withdrawal of the conclusions. The result showed that Pancasila Education and Civic Education as subject to common (MKWU) at the University and the University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto Tidar Nusa Cendana. The Subject has the role so important in the development of personality students in accordance with nilai-nilai Pancasila. It is seen in cognitive learning: achievement, psychomotor, affective. In reaching cognitive, students are taught some material relating to the reality in civil with Pancasila values. The objective is to students having knowledge based on good Pancasila. The psychomotor focused on learning skills students by using the method as a form of learning based on the kids. An affective seen in character students so far in accordance with Pancasila values.

Abstract

It is necessary to measure student spiritual and social attitudes to find out their attitude development in students ofenvironmental education course. The research aims to develop instruments utilized in measuring student spiritual and social attitudes in RIAS (Reading, Identification, Analysis, and Self-reflection) learning model implementation. Theresearch procedures consist of 1) needs analysis and literature study; 2) instrument design; 3) instrument development; 4) expert assessment; 5) instrument revision; and 6) instrument dissemination. The research instruments utilized include content validity sheets and construct validity instruments with assessment scale score of 1-4 consisting of (1) not feasible; (2) less feasible; (3) feasible; and (4) very feasible. The research results indicate that 1) the instruments ofspiritual and social attitudes measurement in the RIAS learning model implementation are feasible to be utilized in measuring student spiritual and social attitudes. It is indicated by validation score of 3.8 and 2) further research and development includes portfolio development to measure spiritual and social attitudes. The research implications become a practical reference for teachers and lecturers in measuring spiritual and social attitudes in learning.

Abstract

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) adalah penyelenggara pendidikan formal jenjang sekolah dasar yang berbasis pada agama Islam. Aksi terror dari kelompok radikalisme yang mengatasnamakan agama Islam membuat penyelenggara pendidikan berbasis agama Islam termasuk MI dikhawatirkan menjadi wadah penyebaran paham intoleran. Oleh karena itu, sudah sepatutnya madin memerlukan pendidikan bela negara bagi siswanya untuk mencegah radikalisme. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk melaksanakan pendidikan bela negara di MI Al Iman dan MI Muhammadiyah Terpadu Harapan Kota Magelang. Pendidikan bela negara yang akan dilaksanakan diharapkan mampu mendorong siswa madin untuk memiliki pemikiran dan pemahaman tentang wawasan kebangsaan yang rasional sehingga dapat diterapkan secara keberlanjutan agar menumbuhkan karakter cinta tanah air dan toleran terhadap keberagaman masyarakat Indonesia. Kegiatan pengabidan dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahap. Tahap pertama yaitu dengan ceramah, menonton video, tanya jawab, kuis, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Materi pada pengabdian tahap pertama yaitu aktualisasi nilai-nilai bela negara pada siswa di kedua mitra yang diselenggarakan pada hari yang berbeda. Tahap kedua yaitu penyampaian materi bela negara sebagai salah satu wujud pengamalan sila-sila Pancasila. Pembelajaran dilaksanakan menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, kuis, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Tahap ketiga yaitu pendidikan bela negara dilaksanakan melalui evaluasi dan refleksi.

Abstract

The development of the object of study of citizenship education material is not fixed in classrooms carried out in formal schools, but can also be carried out in community activities known as socio-cultural citizenship. This is the purpose of this study by describing the application of civic education in the social sphere, namely the involvement of students from various universities who are members of the Atap Senja Community School. The method used is a case study on student involvement in community activities related to educational programs carried out in the community. The results of this study indicate that the concept of civic civic education can be carried out by involving community civic education that develops in the community, namely the Atap Senja Community School in Yogyakarta. This community consists of students from various universities in Yogyakarta. Activities carried out by providing learning assistance and attention to the development of morality for children who do not receive formal education at school. Funding for activities carried out by this community comes from membership fees or what has been called volunteers. The activities carried out by this community are proof of the participation of young citizens in changing the educational conditions of school dropouts, with various kinds of financial limitations. This can be interpreted as a form of civic engagement with the state, because indirectly these community activities will also affect and improve the conditions of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the role of civilizing nuwun sewu in people's lives, especially the younger generation whose urgency is as an effort to prevent and handle cases of violence in the community. This type of research is descriptive qualitative based on the philosophy of postpositivism, the researcher is the key instrument. Data collection techniques were conducted by interview, documentation, focus group discussion, and observation. The research subjects were determined using a purposive method that was adapted to the research objectives, namely community leaders, humanists, and academics. The results of this study indicate that the culture of nuwun sewu can be carried out in the community, education, social activities, and work need to be practiced so that the nuwun sewu culture becomes a tradition and habit and of course it can be recommended as a formula to prevent acts of violence, this effort is a procedure for attitudes and behavior. small examples of behavior that will have a big impact in daily life, especially to prevent acts of violence. The culture of nuwun sewu needs to be used as a guide and guide, especially the Javanese people in respecting and respecting others.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap pengaruh Penggunaan Aplikasi Whatsapp Group terhadap Peningkatan Civic Knowledge Mahasiswa pada Mata Kuliah Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen khususnya Quasi Eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yaitu Nonequivalent Control Group Desain. Penelitian Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah test melalui pretest dan posttest. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kuantitatif deskriptif. Instrumen penelitian yang berupa soal untuk test yang dicek akurasinya dengan menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas dengan menghitung statistic formula koefisien korelasi product-moment Pearson dan analisis Alpha Crochbach dengan bantuan SPSS 26.0 for Windows. Uji prasyarat analisis yang digunakan yaitu uji normalitas dan Uji Walcoxon untuk uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Whatsapp Group berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan civic knowledge mahasiswa pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi janda dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan ekonomi di Kota Magelang. Bagaimana mempertahankan kelangsungan kehidupan ekonomi sosial dalam keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk memvalidasi data melalui metode triangulasi. Model analisis data yang digunakan adalah model Miles dan Huberman untuk reduksi data, presentasi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi ang dijalankan janda cerai pertama; kiat civic kills, yakni pekerjaan yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan keterampilan warga, maka akan lahir kreatifitas dan inovasi dalam berwirausaha sehingga bisa membantu ketahanan ekonomi keluarga. Kedua, kiat civic intelligence, yakni pekerjaan yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan kecerdasan warga, maka dengan kecerdasan yang dimilikinya akan membantu mudah memahami, mengerti dan menempatkan diri lebih baik sehingga bisa cepat, taktis, efektif, dan tanggung jawab.
