Abstract

This research aims to explore the existence of Islamic religious education teachers in the formation of environmentally caring characters of students at Public Elementary School 03 Merigi Kepahiang. This research is qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The validity of the data uses the triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. The results showed that the existence of Islamic religious education teachers in shaping the character of environmental care is carried out against students by preparing religious coaching activities that include formulating the theme of religious coaching kegiatam, formulating the purpose of religious coaching activities, adjusting religious coaching activities carried out to the needs of students. the implementation of religious coaching activities in the form of habituation of caring for the environment, instilling good habits in students, improving religious coaching activities, improving discipline and cooperation between parents and teachers through activities to improve the morale of students, this is where the existence of Islamic religious education teachers becomes very urgent in the formation of environmentally caring characters towards students. In conclusion, Islamic Religious Education teachers have an urgent role in their existence to form the character of students who care about the environment through good cooperation with parents. Abstract

Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) is shaking the world. This massive event triggered by infectious disease is beyond the predictions of many people, even practitioners, and experts in the field of crisis management. Now all sectors are affected, including the world of Education. Academic leaders respond by moving their educational activities and those related online. The decision to pivot into distance learning is made quickly. This research focuses on highlighting how the headmaster's leadership in carrying out crisis management in the Islamic School of Al-Azhar Cairo Yogyakarta by going through the stages, namely 1) Before the Crisis, 2) During the Crisis, 3) After the Crisis. This research uses a qualitative method with the type of case study. The results showed that Before the Crisis stage was carried out by implementing the Covid-19 Prevention Literacy policy. The stages during the crisis are carried out with (a) Health Talk, (b) Learning from Home Policy, and (c) Video and Podcast Challenge. After the crisis phase, the principal develops a collaborative approach to leadership, evaluating, and controlling the various effects of the crisis to prevent future crises. Crisis management is needed so that schools can be better prepared to deal with crises and reduce their impact so that the learning process and managerial activities can continue to run productively.

Abstract

The main problem facing education today is the quality of human resources are low and not sanggupnya follow the progress of science and technology in the era of globalization, where competition quality menajdi something very urgent met by the school, then you need to do is improve the quality of human resources, both from the aspect of intellectual, spiritual, creativity, morality, and responsibility. This study aims to determines how the principal strategy in improving the competence of teachers in terms of pedagogical, professional, personal and social. This study uses qualitative descriptive approach. It can be concluded that the principal strategy in improving the competence of teachers through empowerment by education supervisors.

Abstract

This study described the education system of the Russian Federation and its implementation in the education system in Indonesia. The results of the study show that there are many differences in the education system. The structure of the basic education curriculum in the Russian Federation has more hours per week than in Indonesia, but in one year the study time in Russia is shorter than in Indonesia. The assessment system for learning outcomes in Russia and Indonesia has something in common, namely that it functions as a basis of information to determine the competencies that have been obtained by students, not as a measure for classifying students into groups. Indonesia has better education management, which is able to manage all educational resources by several people in one education system to achieve educational goals both macro and micro. The State of the Russian Federation views that the management of education is an important matter in the management of educational institutions. The Indonesian state manages issues in education management in general into four main focuses of education management, namely the quality of education, expansion and equity of quality education services, relevance, effectiveness and efficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of academic advisors lecturers in increasing the motivation of college students MPI STAIN Curup. The research method in this study uses qualitative research methods. The results of the study show that management carried out by academic advisor lecturers in increasing student motivation for STAIN Curup Islamic Education Management students is by making planning (lecturers and students jointly make student study plans), organizing (division of balanced academic advisor lecturers), actuating (Academic advisors are more active in carrying out their duties), and controlling (Academic advisors supervise students). Conclusion, Supporting factors for academic advisors in increasing MPI student motivation are divided into two, namely encouragement from within (desire, individual traits, awareness, past experience) and encouragement from outside (praise and prizes, rules / regulations, coercion, coercion, role model, knowing the results, competition / competition), while the inhibiting factors are time management, space, busyness, parents, and students. Abstract

In the midst of intense competition between educational institutions today, it is necessary to have a strategy for educational institutions to continue to exist and be of high quality. Every educational institution should have a strategy in efforts to develop educators, because this will have an impact on the quality of the institution. The facts obtained are that the strategies used in development efforts, especially educators, are still less than optimal, resulting in the low quality of an educational institution. This is certainly a concern for all of us, so it is necessary for us to find solutions to these problems. This research is a field research conducted at MadrSasah Tsanawiyah Baitul Makmur, Curup District, Rejang Lebong Regency. The approach used is a qualitative descriptive approach. Sources of data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The data is then tested for validity, then analyzed through the process of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the development of teaching staff at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Baitul Makmur Curup was in the good category, but this needs to be improved. The development of educators at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Baitul Makmur Curup is carried out in several steps, including developing programs/planning, determining needs, determining targets, determining programs, identifying program implementation, implementing programs and evaluating program implementation. Meanwhile, the method of developing educators at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Baitul Makmur Curup is on the job training, consisting of job rotation, training, guidance / counseling, job instructor training, demonstrations, and temporary assignments, while off the job training (Training outside of work), consisting of courses, education and training, workshops, seminars, Subject Teacher Consultations, and comparative studies. Thus, it is hoped that Madrasah Tsanawiyah Baitul Makmur can excel in all fields and be able to compete with other Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

In madrasah, student management can be a place to raise standards and performance. In order for educational institutions to measure the success of student achievement, students are properly supervised. Student management is an initiative to manage children from the time they start school until they graduate. Planning, mentoring, evaluation, and transfer are student management tasks that must be completed before graduation. The purpose of this study was to find out how the management of students at SDIT Ummatan Wahidah. The research methodology is a qualitative research method with a phenomenon-oriented approach in conducting research. information was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The findings of the study indicate that SDIT Ummatan Wahidah was established for 10 years creating outstanding students with the concept of student management at SDIT Ummatan Wahidah through student planning activities, student development, student evaluation, and transfers.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the Muhammadiyah Elementary and Secondary Education Council in the Development of Educational Institutions in Kepahiang Regency. This study aims to determine to what extent the role of the Elementary and Secondary Education Council has carried out its duties and functions which are one of the components of the leadership assistant in the Muhammadiyah organization in the field of education. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. with the technique of collecting data from observations, interviews, to the chairman of the Kepahiang District Educational Council and supported by some related literature. The research data is reduced and presented, then analyzed for several conclusions. The results showed that; Providing assistance for learning facilities seeking facilities and infrastructure as well as financing providing facilities for learning activities through sports, scouting and religious activities to support the quality of educational institutions to develop better and superior, improve the quality of human resources for educators through routine training and guidance from relevant agencies and carry out learning evaluations at each educational institution how to view monthly performance reports, this is in accordance with the duties of the Dikdasmen assembly, namely as follows.

Abstract

Pentingnya pemahaman terhadap keefektifan sekolah tidak saja dalam kaitan nya dengan meningkatkan mutu pendidikan tetapi juga sejalan dengan kebijakan nasional yaitu desentralisasi pendidikan dalam rangka pelaksanaan otonomi daerah. Dengan konsep ini, pemerintah tidak hanya berharap pada meningkatnya mutu pendidikan melainkan juga tercapainya pemerataan, relevansi, dan efisiensi penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Pengalaman di berbagai negara menunjukkan bahwa studi keefektifan sekolah telah banyak membantu dalam memecahkan masalah pendidikan dalam kaitan dengan peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Penulis merasa penting untuk membahas pengelolaan manajemen sekolah yang efektif karena belum banyak sekolah yang mampu mengelola sekolah dengan efektif sehingga masih banyak nya lembaga pendidikan yang belum berhasil mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan sekolah. Sekolah efektif merupakan sekolah yang dapat mencapai target yang telah ditetapkannya sendiri. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, dan berfokus pada penelitian pengelolaan manajemen sekolah yang efektif. Penulisan artikel ini diharapkan dapat memberikan sumbangan konsep pemikiran tentang cara-cara melakukan manajemen sekolah yang efektif sehingga sekolah mampu meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran di sekolah yang memuaskan segala pihak yang berkepentingan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi SMAN 03 Rejang Lebong yang telah berhasil dalam menerapkan manajemen sekolah yang efektif sehingga sekolah ini mampu menghasilkan mutu lulusan yang baik walaupun sekolah ini jauh dari pusat kota dan masih terdapat beberapa kendala dalam pengeloaan sekolah efektif namun sekolah ini mampu mengatasi kendala yang terjadi.
