<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to test the influence of principal's leadership and work discipline on the professional competence of teachers. This research is a quantitative. The paper used questionnaire and interview sheet as instrument. The result showed that principal's leadership and work discipline both partially and simultaneously influenced the professional competence of teachers. The paper recommends to more concern on principal's leadership and work discipline where the school would change professional competence of teachers.]]>

<![CDATA[The artilce was a correlational study which aims to determine the effect of the contribution of interpersonal communication and perceptions of the principal's leadership style on the teacher's commitment to carry out tasks. The population and research sample were public high school teachers in the city of Palembang. There were 22 public high schools in Palembang City with a total of 1,269 people. Data collection techniques were carried out in four ways, namely through observation, distributing questionnaires, and documentation, and interviews. Further data analysis was performed using the SPSS Ver computer program. The results can be concluded that the interpersonal communication variable (X1) has a significant effect on teacher commitment in carrying out the task (Y), the perception variable about the principal's leadership style (X2) has a significant effect on the teacher's commitment in carrying out the task (Y), and the interpersonal communication variable (X1) and the perception of the principal's leadership style (X2) simultaneously has a significant effect on teacher commitment in carrying out assignments (Y). <![CDATA[The purpose of the researchers in conducting this study was to find out and describe the influence of the leadership of the school principal and the role of the school committee together on the performance of teachers of public junior high schools in the District of Pangkalan Lampam. The time for conducting this research was from August to October 2022, and it was carried out at the public middle school in Pangkalan Lampam District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This study employed correlational quantitative research, employing the method after the fact. The sample in this research is made up of 81 participants. From the results of the research, it was found that the influence of the principal's leadership on the performance of state junior high school teachers in Pangkalan Lampam District amounted to 16.1%. The size of the contribution of the influence of the school committee on the performance of state junior high school teachers in Pangkalan Lampam Subdistrict was 8.5%. And the size of the contribution of the influence of the principal's leadership and the role of the school committee together on the performance of state junior high school teachers in Pangkalan Lampam Subdistrict was 21.5%. while the remaining 78.5% is influenced by other factors that are not included in this research.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is based on a need for a better understanding of the characteristics and conditions of students when evaluating assessments. as well as the existence of a large proportion of teachers who have not been able to apply information technology in an effort to increase the effectiveness of student learning. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the influence of pedagogic competence and professional competence together on the performance of teachers in state middle schools in Pangkalan Lampam District. This research was conducted in all public middle schools in Pangkalan Lampam District, namely Public Middle School 1 Pangkalan Lampam, Middle School 2 Pangkalan Lampam, Middle School 3 Pangkalan Lampam, Middle School 4 Pangkalan Lampam and Middle School 5 Pangkalan Lampam, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, and took place from June to October 2022. This study used a type of correlational quantitative research method after the fact. Sampling techniques that can be used include technical probability sampling as well as non-probability sampling. The total number of state Junior high school teachers in Pangkalan Lampam District is 102. F valuecount of 19.286 and the value of FTable of 3.11 then Fcount > FTable which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that the pedagogic competency and professional competency variables have a significant effect on teacher performance variables. The R Square value is 0.331, thus the coefficient of determination is 33.1%, so it can be concluded that the influence of pedagogical competence and professional competence on teacher performance is 33.1%, and the remaining 67% is influenced by other factors not included in this variable.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Muara Telang, mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh motivasi guru terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Muara Telang, dan mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh supervisi kepala sekolah dan motivasi guru secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Muara Telang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, populasi penelitian adalah seluruh guru di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Muara Telang dan sampel penelitian ini diperoleh sebanyak 88 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Uji validitas menggunaan validitas konstruksi dan validitas isi. Sedangkan uji reliabilitas menggunakan Cronbach’s Alpha. Uji Prasyarat analisis menggunakan uji normalitas, liniearitas dan heterokedastisitas. Data dianalisis menggunakan rumus regresi linier sederhana dan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan supervisi kepala sekolah dan motivasi guru terhadap kinerja guru dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,731 dengan presentasi hubungan sebesar 53,5% sedangkan 46,5% ditentukan oleh faktor lain yang tidak disebutkan dalam penelitian ini.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap bagaimana upaya yang dilakukan kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru dalam proses pembelajaran jarak jauh pada masa pademi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif karena memenuhi karakteristik penelitian kualitatif, terutama dalam hal pengungkapan data secara mendalam melalui wawancara, observasi dan kajian dokumen terhadap apa yang dilakukan para informan. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa kepala SMA Negeri 6 Palembang sudah melakukan perannya dengan baik sebagai pemimpin dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru SMA Negeri 6 Palembang pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Hambatan yang dialami adalah rendahnya kualitas guru dalam penguasaan dan penerapan berbagai aplikasi pembelajaran jarak jauh yang merbasis IT, masih kurangnya motivasi guru SMA Negeri 6 Palembang untuk menyesaikan tugas kegiatan pembelajaran, lingkungan kerja, dan kelengkapan sarana prasarana. Upaya yang dilakukan dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru antara lain dengan menciptakan suasana yang kondusif, mengeratkan hubungan antar pribadi guru satu sama lainnya, memberikan kesempatan seluas-luasnya kepada guru untuk mengikuti kegiatan pengembangan diri.]]>

<![CDATA[The curriculum is a school design as a guideline for implementing learning activities to achieve educational goals. Curriculum development is an effort made so that the curriculum used is relevant to use according to the conditions that exist in schools. Many schools only imitate the curriculum from other educational units and do not develop a curriculum using the curriculum development model. The purpose of this study is to reveal the application of the Skillbeck model of curriculum development in an effort to guarantee school quality which is expected to be useful for schools as a reference in efforts to develop curriculum in their schools. This study uses a qualitative research approach. While the data collection techniques used in this study were obtained through interviews. Interviews were conducted with 3 informants consisting of the school principal, vice curricula and class teacher. Data analysis techniques are carried out by condensing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions or verification. The Skilbeck curriculum development model is a curriculum development design that has the advantage of being structured in stages and able to answer existing problems with organized and clear stages. This can be seen from the systematic stages and being able to represent the goals of curriculum development. The difference between the Skillbeck curriculum development model and other curriculum development models is that the teacher has the right to determine the school curriculum so that it is in accordance with the goals to be achieved because this curriculum is dynamic. The skilbeck curriculum development model is carried out by carrying out five stages, namely situation analysis, formulating objectives, formulating programs, implementation, and finally monitoring and evaluation.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed at evaluating and describing the Professionalism Development of Economics Subject Teachers at SMA Negeri Muara Kuang District. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Muara Kuang and SMA Negeri 2 Muara Kuang. The research subjects were the head of SMAN 1 Muara Kuang, the head of SMAN 2 Muara Kuang, the deputy head of SMAN 1 Muara Kuang, the deputy head of SMAN 2 Muara Kuang. 2 teachers at SMAN 1 Muara Kuang, 1 teacher at SMAN 2 Muara Kuang and 2 Supervisors for Development. Data collection techniques with observation, documentation and interviews. The data analysis technique was carried out in three stages: (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, (3) conclusion drawing. The results showed that the development of the professionalism of the Economics Subject teacher at SMA Negeri Muara Kuang District had paid attention to all aspects of the context component, implemented several aspects of the input and process components. However, the output components have not been implemented properly.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to: 1) analyze the effect of classroom management on student achievement; 2) to analyze the effect of teacher professionalism on student achievement; 3) to analyze the effect of classroom management and teacher professionalism together on student achievement. This research uses quantitative methods. Data collection was carried out by means of a questionnaire and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively using SPSS version 16 for windows. From the results of the study it can be concluded that: 1) there is an effect of class management on student achievement in SMP Negeri Babat Supat District where the value of tcount> tcount or 2.998> 1.669 with linear regression equation Y = 33.470 + 0.486X1 and the contribution of class management is 43.2 %; 2) there is an effect of teacher professionalism on student achievement where the value of tcount> tcount or 3.012> 1.669 with a linear regression equation 32.704 + 0.480X2 and the contribution of classroom management is 45.4%, and 3) there is a significant influence between classroom management (X1) , and teacher professionalism (X2) on student achievement (Y) where the value of Fcount> Ftable or 17.786> 3.14 with the regression equation Y = 19.838 + 0.325X1 + 0.322X2 The coefficient of determination R2 (R Square) is 0.393 which means that management class and teacher professionalism were able to influence student achievement with a contribution of 39.3%.]]>

<![CDATA[Schools as an educational institution face two demands, namely the demands of the community and the demands of the business world, the researcher wants to find out more about how the implementation of Principal Leadership Management in Quality of Learning at the 34 Banyuasin III State Elementary School. The research used descriptive qualitative research method. Qualitative method used to analyze data in the form of information, such as observations, documentation, using two ways of thinking and for the informant were administrative staff at the 34 Banyuasin III State Elementary School. From the results of this study, it was found that the principal always distributes educators in accordance with the fields they are skilled in and assigns tasks to education personnel in accordance with their disciplines. In relation to the world of education, learning facilities can be positioned as part of supporting student success which is called student learning achievement.]]>
