Abstract

The use of automation in mobile application testing has become an important tool in improving the efficiency and quality of applications. Katalon Studio, as one of the automated testing tools, offers convenience for testers in conducting automated testing without having to master any programming language. This tool allows continuous testing to maximize the potential of features and applications as a whole. Katalon Studio also allows the addition of an alert feature on failed scenarios, so that the relevant team will be notified if a failure occurs when the script is run. In addition, the use of automated testing tools such as Katalon Studio can speed up the testing process and increase efficiency. In the context of mobile-based applications, automated testing is very important to ensure the quality of the user experience (usability). By conducting automated testing, the app design and development team can be aware of issues that may arise and fix them immediately. Overall, the use of Katalon Studio in automated testing of mobile applications can help improve the efficiency of the testing process and application quality, as well as maximize the potential of application features.

Abstract

The telecommunications industry relies significantly on the knowledge and contributions of engineers, who play a crucial role in designing, enhancing, and supervising diverse communication infrastructure systems. As engineers gain experience, they frequently advance to supervisory or consulting positions in which they provide expert guidance. Many businesses have delegated their recruitment processes to contract workers to optimize operational costs and boost productivity. It is essential to evaluate the performance of outsourced employees in order to determine the value they add to the organization. Performance evaluations play a vital role in evaluating factors such as attendance, skill level, burden management, and job performance. These evaluations aid in contract renewal decision-making. Various metrics emphasizing factors such as effective skills, well-defined objectives, and regular status updates can be used to determine the success of outsourced employees. This permits a comprehensive evaluation and the identification of improvement areas. In this paper, the investigation concentrates on using cluster analysis techniques, specifically partition-based algorithms such as K-means, to classify outsourced workers according to their individual skills and characteristics. Then, we compare the provided insights with the density-based algorithm DBSCAN to comprehend them. Cluster analysis is a potent method for analyzing large datasets, allowing for swift and confident conclusions. By utilizing cluster analysis, organizations can gain insight into the diverse skill sets and characteristics of their outsourced workforce, thereby improving resource allocation, task assignment, and management as a whole

Abstract

Human health concerns are one of the important consequences of low air quality. The low air quality of each city will have long-term impacts such as global warming and anthropogenic greenhouse effects. Air quality usually occurs in areas that are in some parts of the country such as Kalimantan Island. As the third largest island in the world, Kalimantan can be said to be the lungs of the world like the haze problem that enveloped the city of Banjarmasin in 2019. This condition can result in high sufferers of Acute Respiratory Tract Infection (ISPA). Decision making by stakeholders needs to be studied in depth to prevent this. One of the efforts that can be done is the air quality forecast that will occur. Data obtained from BMKG Banjarmasin is the initial material for the forecast. Air quality forecast will use Triple Exponential Smoothing with 2 types of modeling namely additive and multiplicative, so this study aims to conduct air quality forecasts in Banjarmasin City in 2021 and 2022 using Additive and Multiplicative Triple Exponential Smoothing. In forecasts using this method, weighting the constant values α, β, γ can result in small error values. To determine the accuracy comparison of the two modeling is done with an RMSE value. The results showed that air quality conditions in Banjarmasin during 2021 and 2022 for CO, O3, and PM pollutants were in the category of safe for human health, while for pollutants NO2 and SO2 were declared to have a high index so that air quality can harm the health of living things. In comparison, multiplicative modeling on CO forecasts (α= 0.5, β = 0.001, and γ = 0.149), NO2 (α = 0.5, β = 0.024, and γ = 0.022), and SO2 (α = 0.5, β = 0.001, and γ = 0.037) has high accuracy and small error values compared to additive modeling. In contrast, additive modeling in O3 (α = 0.5, β = 0.001, and γ = 0.06) and PM (α = 0.434, β = 0.001, and γ = 0.213) have high accuracy and low error values compared to multiplicative modeling. The conclusion obtained is the difference in forecast results between additive and multiplicative modeling on air quality forecasts in Banjarmasin because multiplicative modeling is used when there is a trend or sign that seasonal patterns depend on the size of the data. In other words, seasonal patterns enlarge as the data size increases. Additive models are used if this trend does not occur.

Abstract

Manajemen data memainkan peran krusial dalam operasional organisasi, pentingnya manajemen (tata kelola) data yang tepat untuk mendukung operasional dan pengambilan keputusan yang cermat. COBIT 2019, terutama melalui domain APO14, memberikan kerangka kerja penting bagi organisasi dalam mengoptimalkan manajemen data mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan COBIT 2019 dalam meningkatkan tata kelola di organisasi, dengan fokus pada Fakultas Syariah di IAIN Ponorogo sebagai studi kasus. Manajemen data yang baik tidak hanya mempengaruhi operasional internal organisasi tetapi juga dampaknya pada keputusan strategis, inovasi, dan daya saing di pasar. Pentingnya tata kelola data yang tepat tercermin dalam praktik seperti perencanaan, pengorganisasian, penyimpanan, dan pemanfaatan data secara cermat. Namun, masih ada tantangan dalam mengintegrasikan secara holistik di berbagai unit dalam organisasi, seperti yang terjadi di Fakultas Syariah IAIN Ponorogo. Dengan pencapaian nilai capability level tata kelola data sebesar 3,14 menurut domain APO14 COBIT 2019, Fakultas Syariah telah mencapai tingkat memadai dalam pengelolaan data. Meski demikian, terdapat kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan aspek-aspek tertentu dalam subdomain seperti APO14.02, APO14.03, APO14.04, APO14.06, APO14.07, APO14.08, APO14.09, dan APO14.10. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman dan pengembangan COBIT 2019, khususnya domain APO14 dalam konteks manajemen data, dan memberikan pandangan yang jelas serta rekomendasi praktis dalam meningkatkan tata kelola data organisasi.

Abstract

Krapyak-U merupakan aplikasi yang diproduksi oleh PT Solusi Infotech Semesta Indonesia (SIESTA) aplikasi ini dikembangkan untuk menjadi pusat pelayanan yang dimiliki oleh Yayasan Ali Maksum Pondok Pesantren krapyak. Menurut hasil dari pengamatan awal yang dilakukan, masih banyak terdapat bebrapa kendala yang dialami oleh pengguna aplikasi. Dengan adanya permasalahan, peneliti akan melakukan penelitian tentang User Experience (UX) aplikasi Krapyak-U. Proses Evaluasi UX dibuat berdasarkan framework User Experience Questionnaire Plus (UEQ+) yang nantinya akan menganalisis bagaimana respon yang didapat dari pengguna aplikasi Krapyak-U. Skala yang digunakan pada kuesiner tersebut adalah tingkat efisiensi, tingkat.kejelasan, tingkat.keandalan, tingkat.kepercayaan, tingkat kegunaan, penggunaan secara intuitif, tingkat kualitas.konten dan tingkat kejelasan.tampilan. Data yang didapat dianalisis menggunakan UEQ Data Analysis Tools yang berguna untuk mengukur kepuasan pelanggan dan menyajikan hasil dari analisis data dalam bentuk grafis yang akan mempermudah dalam memberikan rekomendasi tindakan yang akan dilakukan. Hasil yang didapat dari 55 respoonden pengguna aplikasi Krapyak-U yang merupakan guru, wali santri, dan mahasiswa menunjukkan hasil yang baik pada beberapa aspek skala yang diajakukan. Namun pada skala kemudahan masih mendapat rata-rata 0,82 dan pada skala kualitas konten yang hanya mendapat rata rata di bawah standar dari development.

Abstract

This paper proposes KILAO, an IoT-based self-service laundry kiosk connected with a mobile application that aims to improve the laundry experience by improving user convenience and operational efficiency. This study aims to streamline the washing process using autonomous payment systems, real-time monitoring, and AI-based queue management, resulting in better resource utilization and higher user satisfaction. The development technique comprises identification and requirement gathering, development of both software and hardware prototypes, and evaluation of the prototype. In the requirement-gathering phase, the design of a kiosk machine that consists of hardware and software is defined by combining regular washing machines with IoT technologies for remote control and monitoring. We also developed a mobile application to engage with the kiosk machine. The kiosk simplifies the choice of laundry bundles and accepts various payment options, including cash, cashless transactions, and card-based purchases. The evaluation procedure of the prototype was conducted by using expert evaluations. They are from academics and industry professionals who verified the system’s effectiveness and market potential. The results have shown several unique selling features for KILAO. Extensive payment options and self-service operations were highlighted from the customer’s perspective as key benefits. From the seller’s perspective, its interoperability with traditional washing machines enables a low-cost shift to intelligent, self-service operations, eliminating the need for pricey coin-operated machines. Also, the automatic monitoring system that detects cycle completion can reduce waiting times and improve energy efficiency. In summary, KILAO presents a significant advancement in laundry automation by integrating IoT and AI. Moreover, the Gradient boosting algorithm forecasts waiting times and gives real-time information on machine availability, removing the need for physical queueing. The research demonstrates that KILAO’s capability to provide self-service laundry by providing a user-friendly mobile application can enhance user experience, operational efficiency, and energy utilization.

Abstract

With advances in technology, the use of fire is very helpful in the development process of the data in the Neo Feeder which is directly integrated into the Higher Education and Higher Education. The presence of a web service in the Neo Feeder makes it easier to retrieve data as needed in the development process. This research uses the Representational State Transfer (RESTFUL) Web Service method. RESTFULL web service is a technological method that applies the concept of moving between states using a browser or also called the HTTP mechanism to connect applications with other applications. In this case the RESTFULL method is used as data access to the local database (SIAKAD) which aims to facilitate development and provide updated information. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, it can be concluded that functionally all processes in the system using the RESTFULL Web Service method have run as expected and can reduce actual information (Syafrial, M., & Teguh, I. 2019).

Abstract

Purpose: Information Technology plays a crucial role in supporting education service systems. When system-related issues arise, a Ticket Management System (TMS) becomes essential to address various software and hardware problems. Evaluating the performance and quality of TMS applications is necessary to ensure their effectiveness. This study assesses the quality of a TMS application developed by University of Amikom Yogyakarta, using ISO/IEC 25010:2023. Methods/Study design/approach: The Analytic Hierarchy Process method is employed to prioritize three key ISO/IEC 25010 characteristics by engaging TMS application users. Following the ranking, the study conducts quality measurements using questionnaires and black box testing. The questionnaire results are assessed using a Likert scale to determine scores for the TMS application based on the sub-characteristics of the three selected ISO/IEC 25010:2023 characteristics and the AHP-derived rankings. Result/Findings: The findings indicate that the TMS application achieved a quality score of 4.354. This shows that the TMS application is in the good category. Novelty/Originality/Value: The study highlights the need for performance efficiency improvements, specifically in the Time Behavior sub-characteristic, to enhance the overall quality of the TMS application.
