Abstract

Jumlah penduduk, ekonomi serta perkembangan teknologi semakin meningkat tiap tahun mengakibatkan kebutuhan bertambah pasokan energi listrik. Aktifitas menaiki menuruni tangga, dapat menghasilkan energi listrik. Inovasi tangga sebagai suplai energi listrik alternatif menggunakan elemen piezoelektrik.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang, membuat dan menguji, menganalisis daya yang dihasilkan, menghitung lama waktu pengisian baterai, dan mengetahui cara kerja tangga penghasil listrik. Metode yang dilakukan adalah metode eksperimen.   Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, cara merancang tangga penghasil listrik yaitu didesain terlebih dahulu kemudian menyiapkan alat dan bahan digunakan. Selanjutnya, membuat tangga penghasil listrik menggunakan alas tutup botol yang diberi lubang, piezoelektrik dihubungkan secara paralel. Kemudian menghubungkannya dengan full wave rectifier untuk menyearahkan keluaran piezoelektrik negatif. Kemudian menguji pengisian baterai tangga penghasil listrik. Rata-rata daya yang dihasilkan tangga penghasil listrik sebesar 24,536 mW. Untuk mengisi 2 baterai 2200 mAh penuh diperlukan waktu selama 9361 jam 42 menit. Beban pada alat sebesar 4,2 Watt maka baterai 2200 mAh dapat dipakai dari penuh hingga habis dengan waktu sekitar 4 jam 6 menit. Cara kerja tangga penghasil listrik yaitu saat papan anak tangga diberi tekanan, elemen piezoelektrik akan menghasilkan listrik, yang akan mengisi kapasitor terlebih dahulu hingga melebihi tegangan baterai, setelah itu kapasitor disambungkan ke baterai.

Abstract

Penalaran geometri merupakan salah satu aktivitas penting dari berpikir geometri, sehingga seseorang membutuhkannya dalam menyelesaikan masalah geometri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan penalaran geometri siswa SMP dalam menyelesaikan masalah geometri. Subjek yang dipilih merupakan 2 siswa kelas IX SMPN 19 Percontohan Banda Aceh yaitu seorang siswa yang berkemampuan matematika tinggi dan seorang siswa yang berkemampuan matematika sedang. Analisis dilakukan berdasarkan data hasil tes tertulis dan hasil wawancara. Kemudian dilakukan triangulasi metode untuk mendapatkan data penelitian yang valid. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang berkemampuan  matematika tinggi dapat menunjukkan setiap indikator penalaran geometri, sedangkan siswa yang berkemampuan matematika sedang hanya dapat menunjukkan beberapa indikator penalaran geometri yaitu mengajukan dugaan, melakukan manipulasi matematika, dan menyusun bukti dan memberikan alasan.

Abstract

Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) have emerged as an innovative solution to enhance energy efficiency in commercial and industrial sectors, particularly through the implementation of peak shaving methods. This technology enables energy storage during periods of low demand and its utilization during peak demand, thereby reducing the load on the power grid. This study explores the integration of BESS in managing electrical loads to lower peak energy consumption while improving operational efficiency and power system stability. By utilizing daily load profile data and BESS parameters, a system is developed to regulate charging and discharging processes to achieve optimal energy balance. Simulation results indicate that BESS implementation can reduce peak loads by up to 50%, distribute energy more evenly throughout the day, and enhance the reliability and efficiency of the power grid. This technology also offers environmental benefits by reducing dependence on fossil fuel-based power plants and supporting the transition toward a more sustainable energy system.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of understanding learning design, optimizing the learning environment, and fostering student acceptance on the creative teaching practices of driver instructors in Tanjung Jabung Barat regency. Specifically, it seeks to explore how driver instructors' comprehension of learning design principles affects their creativity in instructional delivery. Examine the impact of the learning environment, including classroom dynamics, resource availability, and technological integration, on teacher creativity in driver education. Analyze the role of student acceptance and engagement in shaping teacher creativity and innovation within the driver education context. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, this research will employ qualitative interviews, quantitative surveys, and observational studies. Qualitative interviews will be conducted with driver instructors to gain insights into their perspectives on learning design, the learning environment, and student acceptance. Quantitative surveys will be distributed to gather data on teaching creativity and its determinants. Additionally, observational studies will be conducted in actual classroom settings to observe the dynamics between learning design, the learning environment, student acceptance, and teaching creativity. The analysis revealed significant relationships between understanding learning design, optimizing the learning environment, fostering student acceptance, and teaching creativity among driver instructors. Driver instructors' comprehension of learning design principles positively correlated with their creativity in instructional delivery. Furthermore, the learning environment significantly influenced teacher creativity, with conducive classroom dynamics and resource availability enhancing creativity. Student acceptance also played a crucial role, with higher levels of engagement positively associated with teacher creativity and innovation. This research underscores the importance of understanding learning design, optimizing the learning environment, and fostering student acceptance in promoting teaching creativity among driver instructors. The findings provide valuable insights for the development of evidence-based teacher training programs and curriculum frameworks aimed at enhancing creativity and innovation in driver education instruction. Ultimately, addressing these factors can contribute to the improvement of driver education programs, thereby promoting road safety and responsible driving behaviors in Tanjung Jabung Barat regency and beyond.
