Abstract

ABSTRACT (ENGLISH) This study aims to (1) determine the ability of reading short chapters at third grade students of MIN Sepabatu Tinambung Polewali Mandar Regency who were using audio-visual media; (2) find out the ability of reading short chapters at class III students of MIN Sepabatu Tinambung Polewali Mandar Regency who were using print media; (3) find out the comparison of the ability of reading short surah of students between those taught using print media at class III MIN Sepabatu Tinambung Polewali Mandar Regency. The type of research that used in this study was a comparative experiment. The population in this study were all third grade students consisting of 3 study groups totaling 54 students with a total sample of 38. The sampling technique that used was multiple random sampling. The research instrument that used was a test in the form of a practice test for reading the Qur'an. The data analysis technique that used was descriptive statistical analysis technique and inferential statistical analysis technique through SPSS v.16 for windows application. The results obtained in the two classes through descriptive analysis, namely for the experimental class 1 (audio-visual media) the average pre-test value was 65.8 and the post-test average was 86.6, while for the experimental class 2 (printed media) the average pre-test score is 59.3 and the post-test average is 77.1. The results of the inferential data analysis showed that the significance value obtained was tcount = 3.566 > ttable = 2.042 and the level value was sig. (2-tailed) = 0.001 < 0.005, which means H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a significant difference from the using of audio-visual media and print media on the ability of reading short suras of class III students at MIN Sepabatu Tinambung, Polewali Mandar Regency. The implication of this research is that teachers can generate creativity in designing, using and maximizing the quality of learning by using learning media in the classroom in order to support the effective use of audio-visual media and print media, and can be a foundation in carrying out learning to read the Qur'an. ABSTRAK (INDONESIA) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui kemampuan membaca surah-surah pendek peserta didik kelas III MIN Sepabatu Tinambung Kab. Polewali Mandar yang diajar dengan menggunakan media audio visual; (2) Mengetahui kemampuan membaca surah-surah pendek peserta didik kelas III MIN Sepabatu Tinambung Kab. Polewali Mandar yang diajar dengan menggunakan media cetak; (3) Mengetahui perbandingan kemampuan membaca surah-surah pendek peserta didik antara yang diajar dengan menggunakan media audio visual dan yang diajar dengan menggunakan media cetak kelas III MIN Sepabatu Tinambung Kab. Polewali Mandar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen komparatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh peserta didik kelas III terdiri dari 3 rombongan belajar berjumlah 54 peserta didik. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah multiple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes berupa tes praktik membaca al-Qur’an. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial melalui aplikasi SPSS v.16 for windows. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh pada kedua kelas tersebut melalui analisis deskriptif untuk kelas eksperimen 1 diperoleh nilai rata-rata pre-test 65,8 dan nilai rata-rata post-test 86,6, sedangkan kelas eksperimen 2 diperoleh nilai rata-rata pre-test 59,3 dan nilai rata-rata post-test 77,1. Hasil analisis inferensial data menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh thitung = 3,566 > ttabel = 2,042 dan nilai taraf sig. (2-tailed) = 0,001 < 0,005, berarti H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dari penggunaan media audio visual dan media cetak terhadap kemampuan membaca surah-surah pendek peserta didik kelas III MIN Sepabatu Tinambung Kabupaten Polewali Mandar.

Abstract

Background : Agility is defined as a fast movement of the whole body with a change of speed or direction in response to a stimulus. It is an important motor skill in sports that involve multi-directional changes.Methods: This research is an experimental study using a quasi-experimental design using the pre test-post test two group design method. This study aims to determine the differences in the effectiveness of zig-zag running training with shuttle run training on agility in soccer players. The number of samples was 24 people using total sampling which were divided randomly into 2 groups, namely treatment group 1 which was given zig-zag running training, as many as 12 people and treatment group 2 which was given shuttle run training as many as 12 people using the Illinois agility run test measurement .Results: Based on the analysis of the Wilcoxon Test, it shows that zig-zag running practice can produce significant agility changes with an average increase of 1.14 seconds and p value = 0.002 (p <0.05), while shuttle run training also produces changes in agility which is significant with an average increase of 0.50 seconds and a value of p = 0.002 (p <0.05). Based on the analysis of the Mann-Whitney test, it was found that there was a significant difference in effectiveness between the zig-zag running exercise and the shuttle run with a value of p = 0.001 (p <0.05), seen from the mean value indicating that the zig-zag running exercise was more effective than the shuttle run practice.Conclusion: The zig-zag running exercise is more effective than the shuttle run exercise on the agility of football players at the Makassar Kebatakan Sports High School.Keywords : Zig-Zag run, Shuttle run, illinois agility run test, agility

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Penatalaksanaan Fisioterapi pada Gangguan Fungsional Lumbal Akibat Hernia Nucleus Pulposus (HNP) di Wilayah Tamalanrea Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi kasus yaitu penelitian yang mendalam pada 1 jenis kasus terhadap 2 sampel. Modalitas yang digunakan adalah Infraphill, Manual Traksi lumbal, Sustained Natural Apophyseal Glides (SNAG) dan Mc. Kenzie Exercise Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu gangguan aktivitas fungsional lumbal yang diukur menggunakan Oswestry Disability Indeks.(ODI). Problematik fisioterapi yang ditemukan melalui pemeriksaaan fisioterapis adalah terdapat nyeri radikular atau menjalar, nyeri tekan pada otot – otot erector spine, keterbatasan gerak lumbal, dan spasme otot – otot erector spine. Setelah dilakukan terapi berupa Infraphill, Manual Traksi lumbal, Sustained Natural Apophyseal Glides (SNAG) dan Mc. Kenzie Exercise sebanyak 6 kali intervensi didapatkan perubahan nilai VAS pada pasien 1 untuk nyeri diam dari 3,4 menjadi 0, nilai gerak dari 6,8 menjadi 2 dan nyeri tekan dari 7,2 menjadi 2, sedangkan pada pasien 3 untuk nyeri diam dari 5,2 menjadi 0, nilai gerak dari 7,5 menjadi 2 dan nyeri tekan dari 8,0 menjadi 4. Untuk perubahan aktivitas fungsional pada pasien 1 persentase skor awal yaitu 23% yang termasuk cacat sedang menjadi 3% yaitu kategori cacat minimal, sedangkan pasien 2 persentase skor awal 29% yang termasuk cacat sedang menjadi 2% yaitu kategori cacat minimal Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Infraphill, Manual Traksi lumbal, Sustained Natural Apophyseal Glides (SNAG) dan Mc. Kenzie Exercise dapat memberikan efek terhadap penurunan nyeri, penurunan spasme otot dan peningkatan aktivitas fungsional pada penderita Hernia Nucleus Pulposus (HNP).Kata kunci: Hernia Nucleus Pulposus (HNP), Infraphill, Manual Traksi lumbal, Sustained Natural Apophyseal Glides (SNAG) dan Mc. Kenzie Exercise.

Abstract

Ischialgia is a manifestation of low back pain caused by clamping of the ischiadicus nerves. Ischialgia is pain that radiates down along the course of the ischiadicus nerve root which causes a change in the degree of SLR.This research is a quasi-experimental study with a pre test-post test control design study which aims to determine the effectiveness of adding Contract Relax to the TENS and Mc interventions. Kenzie compared to TENS and Mc. Kenzie alone on changes in SLR degrees of Ischialgia sufferers. This research was conducted at Salewangang Maros Hospital, with a sample of ischialgia sufferers who fit the researcher's inclusion criteria so that a total sample of 12 people was obtained. The number of samples was divided into 2 groups, namely the treatment group of 6 people who were given Contract Relax, TENS, and Mc. Kenzie and the control group as many as 6 people were given TENS, and Mc. kenzie.The results of the paired sample t test in the treatment group obtained a value of p = 0.000 <0.05, which means that the administration of Contract Relax, TENS, and Mc. Kenzie can produce a significant increase in the degree of SLR in patients with ischialgia, whereas in the control group a value of p = 0.000 <0.05 is obtained, which means that the administration of TENS and Mc. Kenzie can make a significant improvement in SLR degrees. Then based on the results of the independent sample t test, the value of p = 0.016 <0.05 was obtained, which means that the addition of Contract Relax to the TENS and Mc interventions. Kenzie is more effective than TENS and Mc. Kenzie alone on increasing the degree of SLR in patients with ischialgia.Thus the addition of Contract Relax to the TENS and Mc interventions. Abstract

Background: Explosive power or power is a combination of two biomotoric elements, namely speed and strength combined to produce power. To increase power, the training provided must pay attention to the elements of speed and strength in order to get maximum results.Methods: This study was a quasi-experimental study using a two-group pre test and post test design, aiming to determine the difference in the effect of knee tuck jump training and skipping on changes in leg muscle explosive power of basketball players at furry ball clubs Makassar. This research was conducted at the Makassar furry ball club with a sample of 12 people who fit the inclusion criteria, divided randomly into 2 groups, namely the treatment group 1 which was given knee tuck jump training and the treatment group 2 which was given skipping practice. The measuring tool used is the vertical jump test.Results: Based on the Wilcoxon test analysis in treatment group 1 and treatment group 2, a value of (.028) was obtained (.028) p <0.05, which means that there was a significant effect in treatment group 1 and treatment group 2 on increasing the explosive power of the limb muscles of basketball players in the club Makassar furry ball. The results of the Mann-Whitney test obtained a value of (.179) p> 0.05 which means that there was no significant difference between the two sample groups, but seen from the mean value it showed that the knee tuck jump exercise resulted in an increase in muscle explosive power that was greater than skipping exercise.Conclusion: It can be concluded that there is no significant difference in effect between giving knee tuck jump training and skipping to changes in leg muscle explosive power in basketball players at the Makassar furry ball club. Keywords: Muscle explosive power, Knee Tuck Jump, Skipping, Vertical Jump Test

Abstract

Background: Osteoarthritis of the knee is a degenerative joint disease that causes cartilage damage in the knee joint which is characterized by loss and erosion of the knee joint cartilage and the growth of osteophytes on the edges of the knee joint, causing stiffness, pain and impaired movement.Methods: This study was a quasi-experimental study with a pre-test post-test design with two groups aiming to determine the difference in the effect of translation oscillations and theraband exercise with translation oscillations and hold relax on pain reduction and ROM improvement in patients with knee osteoarthritis. This research was conducted at the Faisal Islamic Hospital in Makassar, with a sample of knee osteoarthritis patients who fit the inclusion criteria. The number of samples was 14 people who were randomly divided into 2 groups, namely 1 group that was given translation oscillation and theraband exercise as many as 7 people and group 2 that was given translation oscillation and hold relax as many as 7 people. Measuring instruments used are VAS and Goniometer.Results: Analysis of the paired sample t test in the treatment and control groups obtained a value of p = 0.000 <0.05 for the actuality of pain and ROM, which means that there was a significant effect in the treatment and control groups on reducing pain and increasing ROM. The results of the independent sample t test for actuality of pain obtained a value of p = 0.053 > 0.05 and for ROM obtained a value of p = 0.365 > 0.05 which means that there was no significant difference between the two sample groups.Conclusion: It can be concluded that the administration of translational oscillations and theraband exercise has no more effect than translational oscillations and hold relax on reducing pain and increasing ROM in patients with knee osteoarthritis.Keywords: Translational Oscillation, Theraband Exercise, Hold Relax, Knee Osteoarthritis

Abstract

The peer support is an individual interaction among children or adolescents of the same age group, involving significant support and a relatively high level of closeness within their group. Peer support plays a crucial role in enhancing students' self- discipline. Self-discipline is the ability possessed by individuals to control, direct, and manage themselves based on the desire to create order and organization in life. This study aims to determine the relationship between peer support and students' self- discipline. It adopts a quantitative method with 201 research subjects, comprising 96 males (47.8%) and 105 females (52.2%) aged between 15 to 18 years old. The results reveal a positive correlation between peer support and students' self-discipline at MAN Sidrap, with a correlation value of 0.223 and a significance value of 0.01. Furthermore, the research also identifies a difference in self-discipline between males and females, with females demonstrating higher levels of self-discipline compared to males. Peer support and MAN Sidrap students' self-discipline is categorized as moderate and the results of the descriptive analysis show a positive relationship between peer support and self-discipline.

Abstract

Peneitian ini membahas tentang penggunaan bahasa daerah terhadap keterampilan berbicara peserta didik yang bertujuan untuk 1) mengetahui gambaran penggunaan bahasa daerah peserta didik kelas V MIM Pammase Kabupaten Gowa, 2) untuk mengetahui gambaran keterampilan berbahasa Indonesia peserta didik kelas V MIM Pammase Kabupaten Gowa, 3) untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan bahasa daerah terhadap keterampilan berbahasa Indonesia peserta didik kelas V MIM Pammase Kabupaten Gowa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan ex-post facto.Dalam penelitian ini populasi digunakan adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas V MIM Pammase Kabupaten Gowa yang berjumlah 26 orang. Sedangkan sampel yang digunakan yaitu sampel jenuh, yang dimana seluruh populasi yang dijadikan sampel. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket, tes dan dokumentasi. Untuk Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data nilai penggunaan bahasa daerah peserta didik kelas V MIM Pammase Kabupaten Gowa, diperoleh mean 79,2308 median 78,0000 mode 77,00 standar deviasi 3,43287 dan variansi 11,785, range 12,00 dan skor minimum 75,00 skor masimum 87.00. Sedangkan hasil analisis data nilai keterampilan berbahasa Indonesia peserta didik kelas V MIM Pammase Kabupaten Gowa, diperoleh mean 82,3077 median 85,0000 mode 95,00 standar deviasi 10.31802 dan variansi 106,462, range 30,00 dan skor minimum 65,00 skor masimum 95,00. Penggunaan bahasa daerah terhadap keterampilan berbahasa Indonesia dengan nilai signifikan < 0,05 (0,160 < 0,05), maka H0 ditolak. Jadi dapat disimpulakn bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan bahasa daerah terhadap keterampilan berbahasa Indonesia peserta didik kelas V MIM Pammase Kabupaten Gowa

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuaan membaca permulaan yang diajar menggunakan media tebak tempel dan media kartu pada peserta didik kelas I SD Negeri Biringkaloro Kabupaten Gowa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimental menggunakan desain pretest-postest nonequivalent control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan ini adalah teknik multi stage random sampling sehingga terpilih 2 kelas yang berjumlah 36 peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan membaca permulaan. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Pada penelitian ini kelas IC akan diberikan pretest dan posstest dengan menggunakan media tebak tempel dan kelas IA juga akan diberikan pretest dan posstest dengan menggunakan media kartu huruf. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan uji-t menyatakan bahwa hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis pada data posttest tersebut diperoleh hasil analisis data independent sampel test sig. (2.Tailed) nilai sebesar (0,030<0,05). Kemampuan membaca permulaan peserta didik setelah diajar menggunakan media tebak tempel pada peserta didik kelas I C diperoleh skor tertinggi yaitu 94, skor terendah 50 dan standar deviasi adalah 13.74. Sedangkan peserta didik kelas IA yang diajar menggunakan media kartu huruf diperoleh skor tertinggi yaitu 87, skor terendah 38 dan standar deviasi adalah 15.45. Dengan menggunakan media tebak tempel, kemampuan membaca peserta didik menjadi meningkat yang berada pada kategori tinggi terdapat 13 sedangkan yang menggunakan media kartu huruf meningkat berada pada kategori tinggi terdapat 9 peserta didik yang sudah mampu mengenali huruf a-z, mengeja suku kata menjadi kata dan sudah mampu membaca kalimat-kalimat sederhana dengan bantuan beberapa kata.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pembiasaan membaca dan menulis melalui Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) pada peserta didik kelas rendah (kelas II) dan kelas tinggi (kelas IV) di MIS DDI Lipu, Kabupaten Majene. Fokus penelitian meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, serta evaluasi strategi pembiasaan literasi untuk meningkatkan minat baca dan tulis siswa. Penelitian ini relevan untuk memberikan solusi terhadap rendahnya kemampuan literasi dasar pada tingkat pendidikan dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informasi diperoleh dari tenaga pendidik, peserta didik, dan lingkungan sekolah sebagai sumber utama. Teknik analisis data melibatkan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan untuk menghasilkan temuan yang valid. Validitas data diperkuat melalui triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembiasaan membaca dan menulis yang dirancang secara terstruktur, seperti membaca bersama di kelas dan kegiatan menulis kreatif, mampu meningkatkan minat baca dan tulis siswa. Kendala utama berupa kurangnya fasilitas, seperti ruang perpustakaan yang memadai dan jumlah buku bacaan, menjadi hambatan yang harus diatasi. Peran guru sebagai fasilitator dan motivator terbukti signifikan dalam mendukung keberhasilan strategi literasi ini. Implikasi dari penelitian ini mencakup pentingnya optimalisasi program GLS di madrasah untuk mendukung pencapaian kompetensi literasi siswa. Temuan ini juga menawarkan panduan praktis bagi pendidik dalam merancang program literasi yang relevan dan berkelanjutan. Dengan implementasi yang konsisten, diharapkan literasi membaca dan menulis menjadi budaya yang mendukung peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di madrasah.
