Abstract

Provinsi Jawa Timur merupakan salah satu provinsi di Indonesia yang sudah memiliki komitmen untuk mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter bangsa berbasis kearifan lokal. Pendidikan karakter bangsa berbasis kearifan lokal dapat diperankan atau Artikel ini memfokuskan pada model pendidikan karakter bangsa berbasis kearifan lokal yang sudah dikembangkan dan diimplementasikan di sekolah-sekolah di Provinsi Jawa Timur; menemukan gambaran mengenai faktor eksternal dan internal yang mempengaruhi model pendidikan karakter berbasis kearifan lokal yang sedang dikembangkan dan diimplementasikan di sekolah-sekolah di Provinsi Jawa Timur; memperoleh gambaran mengenai strategi implementasi model pendidi- kan karakter bangsa berbasis kearifan lokal di sekolah-sekolah di Provinsi Jawa Timur; dan; memperoleh gambaran mengenai rekomendasi ihwal strategi pengembangan model pendidikan karakter berbasis kearifan lokal di sekolah-sekolah di Provinsi Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif bercampur atau ber- kombinasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif (mixing methods). Hasil penelitian mengacu pada model pendidikan karakter bangsa berbasis kearifan lokal yang dikembangkan dan diimplementasikan secara berke- sinambungan dan berkelanjutan di sekolah di Provinsi Jawa Timur telah memberikan kontribusi positif bagi kemajuan dan keunggulan sekolah baik dari sisi intelektualitas maupun karakter peserta didik. Sejumlah faktor internal dan eksternal sekolah yang ikut mempengaruhi keberhasilan implementasi model pendidikan karakter berbasis kearifan lokal di sekolah di Provinsi Jawa Timur. Pada umumnya model pendidikan karakter bangsa berbasis kearifan lo- kal di sekolah-sekolah di Provinsi Jawa Timur diimplementasikan dengan menggunakan dua strategi pokok. Model pendidikan karakter bangsa berbasis kearifan lokal di sekolah-seko- lah di Provinsi Jawa Timur harus terus dikembangkan secara berkesinam- bungan dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This article was intended to know the contextual function of Makassar's kelong oral literature. The data and sources of this research were Pakelong as Makassar artists. The data collection conducted were the study of documentation, in-depth interviews, and observations (field recording, recording, and photo shooting). Moreover, the data analysis stage in this study were through three steps, namely (1) reduction, (2) presentation, and (3) conclusion drawing. Based on the results of this study, it was found that there were four contextual functions of kelong, namely the function of the media of hope, the function of entertainment, the function of preserving tradition, and the educational function.Artikel ini bertujuan tuntuk mengetahui fungsi kontekstual sastra lisan kelong Makassar. Data dan sumber penelitian ini adalah pakelong sebagai seniman Makassar. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi dokumentasi, wawancara mendalam, dan observasi (pencatatan lapangan, perekaman, dan pemotretan). Tahap analisis data dalam penelitian ini melalui tiga tahap, yakni tahap (1) reduksi, (2) penyajian, dan (3) penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa fungsi kontekstual kelong ada empat, yakni fungsi media pengharapan, fungsi hiburan,  fungsi pemertahan tradisi, dan  fungsi edukatif.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe Madura tourism contained in a collection of Indonesian poetry books. The method used in this study was descriptive qualitative with a tourism theory approach. Data was the form of words and sentences that represent Madura cultural tourism, while the data source in this study came from a collection of Indonesian poetry with the theme of tourism. The instrument used for data collection in this study was the researcher himself. The data collection technique in this study was carried out with the note-taking method, with the work steps of reading repeatedly the collection of Indonesian poetry books, outlining the selected data, and recording data. To analyze the data in this study, researchers used the Milles & Huberman model by adjusting the needs. The results showed that there were 14 collections of Indonesian poetry books with the theme of Madura cultural tourism, consisting of 69 poetry titles, 121 data were found, with details of 105 data representing Madura traditional tourism and 16 data representing Madura art tourism. The representation of tourism in Indonesian poetry would ultimately have an impact on the introduction, preservation, and development of Madurese culture as a tourism object.

Abstract

The use of technology is often used to support the learning process, one of which is the German Learning language learning media. The use of learning media in the actions of the student learning process that has been carried out can store data in the form of a log database. A database log is a sequence of student learning processes that have been generated that need to be processed and analyzed to identify the same learning patterns to help lecturers provide appropriate input. This study aims to utilize a log database of German Learning learning media using the sequential pattern method to explore useful information from the student's learning process when working on German Learning language problems. The algorithm used is Sequential Pattern Discovery using the Equivalent class (SPADE). Furthermore, this study uses an algorithm to identify the same learning patterns based on student learning activities when using MONSAKUN learning media. Moreover, the learning pattern that has been successfully obtained will be carried out by extracting information to analyze the same learning pattern based on the category of the student's ability to solve problems. Based on the results of the implementation and analysis that has been carried out on 20 German Learning language questions that have been successfully processed in the MONSAKUN learning media, six patterns of learning activities that vary on each question and level are produced, namely: pattern 1, pattern 2, pattern 3, pattern 4, pattern 5, and pattern 6. Each pattern requires further feedback and responses to optimize students' learning progress in Learning German Learning

Abstract

Dengan pendekatan kualitatif sosiologis penelitian ini meneliti Hati Suhita yang merupakan novel dengan pembaca lintas kalangan. Kalangan pesantren menjadi salah satu kalangan yang menarik untuk diteliti. Sumber data penelitian berasal dari 16 teks berupa resensi, informasi, dan berita tentang Hati Suhita yang ditulis oleh kalangan pesantren dan diunggah ke situs internet. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemuakan beberapa variasi dalam proses resepsi yang digunakan oleh kalangan pesantren meliputi proses menyertakan yang dilakukan oleh pembaca dengan menyatukan diri ke dalam teks Hati Suhita melalui proses artistik embrionik dan membayangkan hal yang terjadi apabila Gus Birru pada akhirnya lebih memilih Rengganis dari pada Alina, proses merinci dengan menjelaskan informasi berupa tokoh, latar, dan alur yang ada dalam Hati Suhita, proses memahami dengan menggambarkan karakter tokoh dalam cerita berdasarkan pengetahuan tokoh,sosial-masyarakat, konteks budaya dan memahami bagian-bagian penting dalam cerita, proses menerangkan dengan mencoba menjelaskan sebaik mungkin mengapa para tokoh bertindak dalam sebuah peristiwa dengan menjelaskan kronologi dan latar belakangnya, proses menghubungkan dilakukan pembaca dengan menghubungkan pengalaman hidup dengan tokoh cerita dan membandingkan Hati Suhita dengan genre novel yang sama, proses menafsirkan ditunjukkan dengan pemberian makna terhadap tema, tokoh, dan peristiwa dalam Hati Suhita, dan proses menilai ditunjukkan dengan memberikan pendapat terhadap unsur dan isi cerita secara keseluruhan .

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui memori kolektif masyarakat Batavia dalam novel Al-Masih: Putra sang Perawan karya Tasaro GK. Penelitan ini menggunakan teori memori Barbara A. Misztal. Pendekatan yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif guna membantu menjawab fokus penelitian dengan cara mendeskripsikan data. Sumber data penelitian ini diperoleh dari kutipan novel Al-Masih: Putra sang Perawan karya Tasaro GK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga bentuk memori kolektif dalam novel Al-Masih: Putra sang Perawan, yaitu (1) memori flashbulb masyarakat Batavia meliputi perbudakan, penyerangan raja Jawa ke Batavia, perlakuan kompeni kepada orang Jawa, kelompok Bhairawa, dan monopoli perdagangan, (2) memori generasi meliputi cara mencuci pakaian masyarakat Batavia dan kebiasaan menyirih perempuan-perempuan Batavia, dan (3) memori tradisi meliputi tradisi pernikahan Etnis Moor, tradisi perayaan tahun baru Etnis Tionghoa, dan tata krama.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji sastra ekologis dengan menggunakan model kajian ekokritik sastra Greg Garrard. Ekokritik sastra Greg Garrard ini mempertemukan antara ekologi dan karya sastra.  Dengan cara demikian dapat dideskripsikan dimensi sastra ekologis dalam novel Aroma Karsa menggunakan pendekatan Ekokritik Greg Gerrard, hubungan antara manusia dengan ekosistem alam sekitar, dan mendeskripsikan gambaran alam pada novel Aroma Karsa. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara mengoleksi, mengelola, menganalisis, serta menjabarkan data lapangan yang diperoleh secara objektif.  Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini dibagi menjadi 3 bagian sesuai dengan rumusan masalah. Bagian pertama, bentuk hubungan manusia dengan ekosistem alam yang dibagi menjadi dua yaitu ekosistem tumbuhan dan ekosistem binatang. Kedua, kritik ekologi dengan 5 komponen sesuai teori Greg Garrard yaitu pencemaran, perumahan/tempat tinggal, hutan, binatang, dan bencana. Bagian ketiga, bentuk representasi atau penggambaran alam berdasarkan teori terdapat  tiga point penting yang terkandung dalam novel Aroma Karsa yaitu pegunungan, pemukiman, dan hewan. Kata kunci: representasi; alam; sastra Representation of Nature in Dewi Lestari’s Aroma Karsa Novel: A Study of Literary Ecocriticism by Greg Garrard This study examines the ecological literature using Greg Garrard's model of literary ecocritical analysis. Greg Garrard's literary criticism combines ecology and literature. For example, the dimensions of ecological literature can be described in Aroma Karsa's novel using Greg Gerrard's ecocritical approach, human relationships with the surrounding natural ecosystem, and in Aroma Karsa's description of nature. Using qualitative methods, this research was conducted by collecting, managing, analyzing and objectively describing the data obtained in the field. The results of this research are divided into 3 parts based on the statement of the problem. The first part examines the relationship between man and natural ecosystems, which is divided into two parts, namely plant ecosystems and animal ecosystems. Second, the ecological critique of Greg Garrard's theory, which has 5 components, namely pollution, housing, forests, animals and disasters. The third part, the theory-based form of representation or description of nature, contains three main points from the novel Aroma Karsa, namely mountains, settlements and animals. Abstract

Traumatic memory can become a manifestation of a community's cultural wisdom when the community collectively continues to maintain fear of the object of trauma. Mahfud Ikhwan's Dwilogi Dawuk novel tells the story of traumatic memory rooted in the community's trauma to the livelihood of blandong and the forestry ministry that has been maintained for generations. The purpose of this study is to describe the symptoms of trauma in the Dawuk duogy experienced by the characters to produce findings that traumatic memory can become the cultural wisdom of the community. The data of this research are novel texts in the form of character utterances, narrator monologues, and dialogues between characters.  The source of the research data is the Dawuk bilingual novel, namely Dawuk; The Gray Tale of Rumbuk Randu and Anwar Tohari Mencari Mati. Data collection is done with documentation technique. The main instrument in the research is the researcher himself who is supported by a data search grid table. The flow of data analysis in this study, namely (1) data collection, (2) data condensation, (3) data presentation, and (4) conclusion drawing. Once collected, the data were analyzed based on the research focus of traumatic memory symptoms. The results showed that flashback symptoms were experienced when the characters and people of Rumbuk Randu felt, heard, and recalled the traumatic events. Nightmare symptoms occur to characters who feel fear of the traumatized object while in an unconscious state. Meanwhile, the repetitive phenomenon occurs when the Rumbuk Randu community equates current events with bad events in the past. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that this novel is a medium for conveying traumatic memory symptoms about the conflict between blandongan and the forestry ministry on the north coast of East Java, precisely in the Lamongan area.

Abstract

This article explores verbal violence against women on TikTok to uncover the underlying factors contributing to the verbal violence. Using a qualitative approach, we examine verbal violence on the @bacotinajagpp TikTok account from March 2022 to December 2023. The analysis is grounded in feminist theory in Linguistics, which examines how language perpetuates gender-based oppression and reinforces patriarchal norms. Methodologically, the study utilizes a qualitative content analysis of TikTok posts to identify patterns in language use and strategies of verbal violence. The findings show that verbal violence represented in the language used in the account can be categorized into four types (sexual, appearance-related, intellectual, and character-based), manifested in five language variations (hate speech, abusive language, offensive language, aggressive language, and harassing language) and articulated through four strategies (general statements, personal attacks, intimidation, and manipulation). These patterns underscore the use of verbal violence to reinforce men's social dominance by threatening, insulting, and demeaning women, thereby perpetuating negative stereotypes. This article aims to raise awareness of these issues to reduce verbal violence on social media and mitigate negative stereotypes about women. By doing so, the study seeks to cultivate a more respectful online environment and diminish misogynistic attitudes.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the efforts made by the writers of the People's Cultural Institute (Lekra) in describing the resistance of the peasants and workers in their literary works so that they are better known by the wider community. Among them is using the descending method or commonly known as the abbreviation Turba to see the immediate conditions of the people from the peasants and workers' lives. This research uses a qualitative research type with a historiographical approach which is a tool in seeing the motives, types, and themes of literary works that develop in society. The data of this study refers to a group of information from text readings and historical facts. Sources of research data include the Harian People's newspaper as the primary source and other library materials as a complement. Data accessed from the collections of the H.B. Literature Documentation Center (PDS). Jassin to the Jakarta National Library (Perpusnas). The research instrument is the researcher himself (human instrument). This research yielded information about (1) the background of turba, (2) the turba method, (3) the experiences of lekra writers doing turba, and (4) the works of lekra writers which describe the resistance of the peasants and workers.
