Abstract

Certification Competency test is one of the requirements of VHS graduates and the gap between theory and phenomenon in this test evaluation is rarely carried out. The objective of this study is to evaluate the implementation of Certification Competency Test of VHS. A thorough evaluative method with Discrepancy Evaluation Model (DEM) was implemented through observation, and document study. Then, a questionnaire was developed to collect the data from 13 VHS as the population and sample. The data analysed descriptively fell into some categories as the finding of this research such as design, installation, process, product shared very good achievement with score 31.53 (100%), 57.4 (88.51%), 39.64 (87.52%), and 43.87 (89.22%) respectively.  The overall score denoted very good category with average gained score 172.44 (91.32%). In conclusion, the certification competency exam requires more maximum improvement despite the recent achievement. Good cooperation is needed from all parties, such as the provincial level national exam implementers, schools, partner institutions, supervisors, parents/community and students so as to fulfill the gap so that the certification competency test results will be even better.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is a critical activity in driving economic development, and entrepreneurial talents and qualities align with the 4.0 Industrial Revolution and its impact on the economic sector. However, the implementation of Creative Projects and Entrepreneurship in Vocational High School (VHS) subjects tends to be theoretical and unrelated to societal problems. This study intends to develop a model of entrepreneurship learning management for VHS based on local wisdom products. A preliminary study, initial product creation, and initial product test using expert and practitioner validity, limited test, final product test using quasi-experiment, dissemination, and implementation were some of the techniques used to implement a research and development design. The study discovers that the local wisdom product and its marketing become a crucial component of social constructivism-based entrepreneurship education. The model design results in three main aspects such as general information (school identity, preliminary competency, Pancasila students' profile, facility and infrastructure, students' target, and learning materials), core competency (objective, meaningful comprehension, stimulus questions, learning process, assessment, remedial, and reflection), and attachment (students' worksheet, references, glossary, and works cited). The initial product's outcome demonstrates that every model plan and item generated falls within the "good" category. For the implication in the commencing year, the principals of VHS who implement the Emancipated Curriculum can adopt or adapt this initial model until the final testing process is carried out.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology corresponds to the development of humans who increasingly need technology to facilitate their business. Currently, in addition to business development, the development of mobile games has also experienced a significant increase in terms of the number of users. The increasingly rapid development of game enthusiasts has an impact on the behavior of generation Z and the millennial generation in choosing the quality of the games they want. The main objective of this research is to analyze the determinants of mobile game adoption among Generation Z and Millennials. The study tool was an online survey that was given to 210 participants, all of whom were Millennial and Generation Z players of mobile game services. The researchers then put the theory to the test by utilizing the Partial Least Square (PLS) type of structural equation modeling (SEM) and the SmartPLS version 3.0 program to examine it. The study's findings demonstrate that perceived enjoyment, perceived ease of use, and habit have a significant and positive impact on usage intention. The managerial implications of this research conclude that one of the biggest effects of playing games service is to make people happy. Of course they feel happy because when they play games, they don't feel the pressures of life. As if they are in another world that makes them the main character.
