Abstract

Permasalahan yang ada di Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL) tampak pada implementasi kurikulum. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan guru kelas IV dan kepala SIKL menyatakan bahwa guru belum memiliki pengetahuan yang memadai tentang pembelajaran kurikulum merdeka, termasuk penerapan modul ajar. SIKL merupakan salah satu sekolah Indonesia di luar negeri yang akan mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka pada tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 sehingga membutuhkan pendampingan dalam penerapan modul ajar. Berdasarkan permasalahan di atas, maka pihak SIKL dan tim pelaksana perlu untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru dalam menerapkan modul ajar sebagai implementasi kurikulum merdeka. Tim pelaksana akan melaksanakan kegiatan dengan cara praktik pembelajaran sebanyak 2 kali pertemuan. Program ini bertujuan untuk menjadi contoh praktik baik (best practices) bagi guru. Abstract

The development of technology-based education is growing rapidly so that it affects the world of education. Based on the results of a preliminary study at SD Muhammadiyah 8 Malang, they have used digital tools in learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of digital literacy in learning in third grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 8 Malang. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, field notes, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, data verification, and checking the validity of the data. The results showed that the implementation of digital literacy consisted of time management, cyber bullying management, cyber security management, privacy, critical thinking, and digital empathy.

Abstract

Buku menjadi sumber yang penting dalam gerakan literasi sekolah. Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) adalah sebuah gerakan dalam upaya menumbuhkan budi pekerti siswa yang bertujuan agar siswa memiliki budaya membaca dan menulis sehingga tercipta pembelajaran sepanjang hayat. Salah satu buku yang dapat digunakan dalam gerakan literasi sekolah untuk menanamkan nilai karakter, adalah buku kumpulan cerita anak. Terutama perkembangan pendidikan di era revolusi industri yaitu PPK belum diinternalisasikan dalam buku yang digunakan di lingkungan sekolah saat proses pembelajaran maupun saat program GLS. Selain itu, guru hanya menggunakan buku yang diberikan oleh pemerintah dan dijual bebas. Guru diharapkan terampil menulis cerita anak sebagai karya yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam proses pembelajaran dan program literasi sekolah. Hal ini mendukung penanaman penguatan pendidikan karakter pada siswa sekolah dasar. Melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan tersebut diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan liteasi menulis dan membaca yang ditandai dengan banyaknya guru yang menghasilkan karya sastra di satuan pendidikan masing-masing, sehingga dapat menambah literasi guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran di kelas pada khususnya.

Abstract

The current development of technology-based education is growing rapidly, so that the world of compulsory education can use technology. Especially in the 21st century, smartphone media is a tool for online-based learning. That's why there are many benefits of smartphone media that students can use to learn online. SD Muhammadiyah 8 Dau has used media with various learning methods for face-to-face learning, but online learning media is still very limited. In addition, teachers have difficulty whether the media used has an effect or not on student learning outcomes, especially fourth grade students. The results of the interviews also showed that in class IV there was no media for learning children's stories that were in accordance with the applicable curriculum. Especially for children's story-based learning media to strengthen character education. In fact, the government is currently promoting the cultivation of character education for students in elementary schools. Related to the problems above, the purpose of this study is to measure the effect of utilizing the use of android applications as learning tools based on strengthening character education on student learning outcomes. This research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah 8 Dau, Malang Regency. The design of this research is pretest-posttest-group design, with a simple random sampling method that is determined based on the results of the pretest posttest. The results obtained through the analysis showed the results of the average pretest value of 79.38 and the posttest average value of 84.38. In addition, the results of the T-Test in the Sig. (2-Tailed) table have a value of 0.150 where the value > 0.05 means that H1 is accepted. So it can be stated that there is an effect of using the android application for children's stories on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 8 Dau.

Abstract

The development of PAKAPIN (Smart Pocket Board) media was motivated by problems that occurred at SDN Sisir 03 Batu among class IV students, namely the lack of use of media, too much material content and student learning outcomes that were less than optimal. The aim of the research is to develop PAKAPIN media material "The meaning and examples of Pancasila principles in everyday life" for class IV Pancasila Education subjects, totaling 20 students. This research is Research and Development (R&D) research using the ADDIE research model which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The data that has been obtained will be analyzed using qualitative and quantitative data. The research results show that the PAKAPIN media is in accordance with the results of material expert validation, media validation results, student and teacher response results, and evaluation test results that meet the criteria. So it is concluded that the PAKAPIN media is suitable and effective for use as learning media in Pancasila Education subjects.

Abstract

The implementation of the self-development program for children with special needs at SDN Sumbersari 2, Malang City has been running from August 2023 until now. Self-development program aimed at children with special needs for grades 1-6 elementary school. Implementing self-development is the ability to develop motor skills, concentration, creativity, independence and social abilities. The aim of this study: (1) to describe self-development activities in the implementation of self-development for children with special needs at SDN Sumbersari 2 Malang City (2) to describe the implementation of the self-development program for children with special needs at SDN Sumbersari 2 Malang City (3) to describe the impact of students in implementing the self-development program children with special needs at SDN Sumbersari 2, Malang City. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this research were the principal of SDN Sumbersari 2 Malang City, teacher coordinator of the self-development program and Shadow. The implementation of the self-development program was attended by 12 children with special needs, one of whom had ADHD. To obtain the necessary data, research is needed using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The research results obtained are that shadow guides the implementation of self-development, preparing students for carrying out different self-development activities such as collage, painting, cooking classes, making creativity from bottle caps. In implementing self-development, there is an impact of each implementation of self-development to train fine motor skills, concentration, creativity and independence.

Abstract

The results of the needs analysis of class IV at SDN 3 Tugu Tulungagung showed that there were students who had difficulty in understanding the teacher's explanation in interpreting sentences in Indonesian reading texts and the minimal use of learning media caused students to tend to be passive. Based on these results, the researcher developed Roulette Bingo media which aims to support learning with a fun and active atmosphere and help students understand the material. This study uses the ADDIE model. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Quantitative data were analyzed descriptively and qualitative data were analyzed using a Likert scale. The results obtained from the development of Roulette Bingo Media in Indonesian language learning for class IV related to the material on main ideas and supporting ideas based on the assessment determined by the material expert obtained a percentage of 87.5%, and media expert validation of 92.5% with the category "Very Appropriate". Meanwhile, the response from the teacher to the Roulette Bingo media received a percentage of 100% and the response from students was 94.4% with the category "Very Good". The results of this study indicate that the development of the Roulette Bingo media can be used as a tool to support learning materials that are fun and make students more active and motivated to follow the learning, but still has a drawback, namely the arrow on the Roulette is a little difficult to rotate, it is hoped that the Roulette can be rotated easily and practically in its use and adjusted to the needs of students.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) develop traditional learning media using Congklak for teaching fractions in grade 5 elementary school with an ethnomathematics approach and (2) assess its effectiveness in improving student learning outcomes. Congklak was chosen for its ability to contextualize fractions engagingly, linking local culture with mathematics. The ethnomathematics approach provides a cultural framework that enhances students' understanding of fractions through meaningful cultural experiences. The research adopts the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), covering needs analysis, media design, product development, implementation, and evaluation. Instruments include validation sheets, practicality assessments, response questionnaires, and summative tests. Results show that ethnomathematics-based Congklak media significantly improves students' understanding of fractions, achieving a 96.78% success rate. Students also responded positively to its use in mathematics learning. This study contributes to the development of culture-based learning media that enhance the quality of mathematics education while promoting the preservation of local cultural values.

Abstract

Identitas gender didefinisikan sebagai sekumpulan pemikiran yang mencakup penilaian seseorang terhadap kesesuaian dan motivasi untuk menyesuaikan diri dengan kelompok gender tertentu. Pengenalan identitas gender perlu diajarkan kepada siswa sekolah dasar sejak dini agar mereka dapat mengetahui identitas dirinya, perannya dalam kehidupan, dan bagaimana ia berperilaku sesuai gendernya. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang efektif untuk mengenalkan identitas gender pada anak yaitu melalui cerita bergambar. Berdasarkan analisis situasi didapatkan hasil bahwa pengenalan identitas gender belum dilakukan dengan tepat. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi adanya anggapan masyarakat terkait pengenalan identitas gender anak usia dini merupakan hal yang tabu. Tujuan utama dari pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pelatihan kepada guru-guru SD Muhamamdiyah Kab. Malang dalam penulisan cerita bergambar untuk pengenalan gender siswa Sekolah Dasar. Melalui pelatihan ini, guru-guru SD Muhammadiyah Kab. Malang akan diberikan pengetahuan, strategi, dan keterampilan dalam menulis cerita bergambar sebagai media pembelajaran dalam mengenalkan identitas gender dan menumbuhkan literasi siswa. Metode pelaksanaan pada pengabdian ini yaitu persiapan, analisis kebutuhan SD Muhammadiyah Kab. Malang, penyusunan materi cerita bergambar berbasis pengenalan identitas gender, pelaksanaan pelatihan cerita bergambar berbasis pengenalan identitas gender, publikasi, dan pelaporan. Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan yaitu guru dapat menulis cerita bergambar untuk pengenalan gender siswa Sekolah Dasar yang dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.
