Abstract

The need for cheap and quality feed is one of the main challenges faced by every cattle breeder, both on farms with breeding and fattening concepts. Quality animal feed is always synonymous with expensive prices, making it difficult for cattle breeders to obtain, the majority of whom are small to medium scale breeders. One way to produce cheap and high-quality feed is to make fermented feed from forage grass or rice straw. This program aims to help breeders in producing cheap and high-quality feed from available ingredients and even from materials that are considered waste. The implementation of the program is carried out by socializing and simulating the manufacture of fermented feed directly by breeders accompanied by a community service implementation team. The results show that the knowledge and skills of farmers in producing fermented feed have increased significantly, the animal's palatability to the feed has increased, and the amount of manure has decreased. It is hoped that this training can increase the competency of breeders in producing cheap and high-quality feed, so that they can increase profits by reducing operational costs, making time efficient, as well as utilizing and reducing waste that can pollute the environment.

Abstract

The lack of interactive and contextual learning models further weakens student engagement with environmental issues. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Nearpod on students' environmental literacy regarding climate change material in Grade 10 at SMA Negeri 10 Tasikmalaya. The research method used is a Quasi-Experimental design. The research population consists of 10 classes, with a purposive sampling method yielding a sample size of 2 classes, comprising an experimental class and a control class. The research instruments used tests and non-tests in the form of multiple-choice questions and questionnaires. The results of the ANCOVA test showed that the Nearpod-assisted PBL model had a significant partial effect on environmental literacy in the cognitive and affective indicators, with a significance value of 0.000, but did not show an effect on the behavioral indicator, which obtained a significance value of 0.874. Meanwhile, the simultaneous test results for the combined three environmental literacy indicators yielded a significance of 0.184 (p-value > 0.05), indicating that the implementation of the Nearpod-assisted PBL model has not yet been able to provide a comprehensive impact on environmental literacy among students at SMAN 10 Tasikmalaya.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian berangkat dari urgensi pendidikan lingkungan yang kontekstual dan integratif dalam menghadapi isu global perubahan iklim, khususnya di wilayah pesisir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan guru dan siswa terhadap pengembangan modul ajar interaktif berbasis kearifan lokal pesisir pada materi perubahan iklim. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan instrumen berupa angket kebutuhan, wawancara, dan telaah kurikulum. Subjek penelitian melibatkan 6 orang guru biologi dan 60 siswa sekolah menengah atas di wilayah pesisir Pangandaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) guru membutuhkan sumber belajar yang interaktif, kontekstual, dan mudah diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka; (2) siswa membutuhkan media pembelajaran yang interaktif, visual, dan relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari di lingkungan pesisir; (3) kearifan lokal pesisir dipandang relevan sebagai konten pembelajaran adaptasi perubahan iklim, namun belum banyak dimanfaatkan dalam modul ajar konvensional. Dengan demikian, pengembangan modul ajar interaktif berbasis kearifan lokal pesisir dipandang urgen untuk memperkuat literasi sains, kesadaran lingkungan, dan kemampuan adaptasi siswa terhadap perubahan iklim.
