In the educational process, the teacher is one of the most important components of other components, such as curriculum goals, methods, facilities and the end of educational goals. The activity and involvement of students as a whole is very important so that learning activities achieve their goals. The existence of optimal student learning activities. Based on observations in class V of SD Negeri 040463 Sumbul, in the learning process the teacher conveys more information by not using learning media so that learning is less interesting. The delivery of learning is done by explaining the material or using the lecture method, giving examples of problems as student exercises. With such a learning process, students are less active and there is no student activity in playing a role. To overcome the above problems, an effective learning approach or learning model is needed and can increase student motivation in the learning process. To improve optimal learning outcomes, applying an inquiry learning model, to renew the student learning process. Based on the analysis and discussion of the results of research conducted in class V SDN 040463 Sumbul Kab, Karo in the 2022/2023 learning year, it can be concluded that the implementation of learning by using the Inquiry learning model on the theme of Events in Life in class V SDN 040463 Sumbul Kab, Karo in the 2022/2023 learning year is categorized as good. it can be seen from the results of students improvement of learning outcome in cycle I obtained 62% of the good category and in cycle II it increased to 88% of the very good category.

Abstract

Theoretically, the quality of learning greatly affects the success of learning. So that the quality of learning has a directly proportional relationship with learning outcomes, which means that the higher the quality of learning, the higher the learning outcomes obtained. In Curriculum 2013 thematic learning is integrated learning using themes to link several subjects so that it can provide meaningful experiences for students. Based on information from the fifth grade teacher of SD Negeri 101816 Pancur Batu that student learning outcomes are still low. This is because teachers do not apply learning models in the learning process, so that students are less active in the learning process, and the teaching and learning process in the classroom also feels boring because, teachers are more active than students. And learning activities in the classroom are one-way (conventional), which results in low student learning outcomes. Based on the analysis and discussion of the results of research conducted in class V of State Elementary School 101816 Pancur Batu in the 2022/2023 learning year, it can be concluded that the implementation of learning by using the Make A Match Type Cooperative Learning Model on the theme of Our Friends Environment subtheme Environmental Changes in class V of State Elementary School 101816 Pancur Batu in the 2022/2023 learning year is categorized as good. It can be seen from the results of students learning outcome improvement in cycle I obtained as much as 68% of the sufficient category and in cycle II increased to 96% of the very good category.

Abstract

The most fundamental principle of Curriculum 13 is the emphasis on the ability of teachers to implement an authentic, challenging and meaningful learning process for students so that the potential of students can develop in accordance with what is expected by the objectives of national education. However, there are still many teachers who cannot or are still confused in implementing or implementing the 2013 Curriculum in learning. So that learning has meaning, teachers must have skills in teaching both skills in applying learning models and learning media that are close to the students' environment. As for what can be done so that the learning process is fun and can improve learning outcomes and the activeness of students in expressing opinions and asking questions related to the teaching material presented, the right model is needed in the learning process. There is a learning model that can be used in the learning process, namely the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model. Based on the analysis and discussion of the results of research conducted in the VA class of SD St. Thomas 5 Medan in the 2022/2023 learning year, it can be concluded that the implementation of learning by using the Creative Problem Solving learning model on the theme of Our Friends Environment with the sub-theme of Humans and the Environment in the VA class of SD St. Thomas 5 Medan in the 2022/2023 learning year is categorized as good. it can be seen from the results of students’ learning outcome improvement in cycle I obtained as much as 68% of the good category and in cycle II it increased to 90% of the very good category.

Abstract

The learning process runs well if it can properly consider various related elements, including: goals, materials, and methods in learning. In order to achieve success in the learning process, it also needs other support, namely the teacher can combine elements related to learning and student behavior. As is the case at this time students are required to be able to think creatively. Based on observations made in class VB SD HKBP Padang Bulan Medan, obtained a number of information that became a problem including in learning activities carried out by teachers already using learning models in learning activities, but teachers have not developed creative thinking skills to students. To overcome these problems, one way that can be taken is to update the learning model that is commonly used. An active learning model that is considered suitable to be used to improve students' thinking skills is the Project Based Learning learning model. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the use of the Project Based Learning model on the theme of events in the fifth grade of SD HKBP Padang Bulan Medan can improve the creative thinking ability of students so that it reaches the target of classical completeness. Out of 29 students, students' creative thinking skills at the initial stage, namely in the pre-test, there was an average score of 57 with 20% classical completeness. In cycle I, it increased with an average score of 66 with 48% classical completeness. Furthermore, in cycle II, the average creative thinking ability of the students was 80 with 80% classical completeness, meaning that the presentation of students who experienced changes was more than 75%. This shows an increase from cycle I to cycle II.
