Abstract

This study aims to develop BIPA teaching materials on reading skills with Graves model. This study uses qualitative research methods that are adapted to conditions in the field. The stages of the Graves model implemented are four stages, namely: 1) needs analysis, 2) determining general and specific objectives, 3) sorting and selecting teaching materials and activities developed, and 4) organizing the content and activities of teaching materials. The results showed that the preparation of teaching materials for reading BIPA UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta has its own characteristics. This specialty is found in the theme used in teaching materials, namely "Learning Indonesian Through Cultural Wisdom". Through the material in reading teaching materials, foreign students are introduced to the variety of cultures found in Indonesia, especially in the city of Solo. So, not only language is the focus of learning, but also the culture and Islamic values that apply. This was done with the consideration that the BIPA institution was under PTKIN so that foreign students studying at UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta, were required to have knowledge about language, culture, and Islamic insight. In addition, products developed by BIPA teaching materials for reading skills are not only produced in the form of hard files. However, in the form of e-books in PDF format. The use of teaching materials in the form of electronic books can make it easier for foreign students to access and study them. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan materi ajar BIPA pada keterampilan membaca dengan model Graves pada mahasiswa BIPA di UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi di lapangan. Tahapan model Graves yang dilaksanakan ini ada empat tahap, yaitu: 1) analisis kebutuhan, 2) menentukan tujuan umum dan khusus, 3) memilah dan menyeleksi materi ajar dan aktivitas yang dikembangkan, dan 4) mengorganisasikan isi dan aktivitas bahan ajar. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara data pengembangan bahan ajar dan data uji coba. Analisis data menggunakan analisis data pengembangan dan analisis data uji coba bahan ajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyusunan bahan ajar membaca BIPA UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta mempunyai ciri khas tersendiri. Kekhasan tersebut terdapat pada tema yang digunakan dalam bahan ajar yakni “Belajar Bahasa Indonesia Melalui Kearifan Budaya”. Melalui materi dalam bahan ajar membaca, mahasiswa asing diperkenalkan tentang ragam budaya yang terdapat di Indonesia, khususnya di Kota Solo. Dengan demikian, tidak hanya bahasa yang menjadi fokus pembelajarannya, tetapi juga budaya dan nilai-nilai keislaman yang berlaku. Hal tersebut dilakukan dengan pertimbangan bahwa lembaga BIPA berada di bawah PTKIN sehingga mahasiswa asing yang belajar di UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta, diwajibkan memiliki pengetahuan mengenai bahasa, budaya, dan wawasan keislaman. Selain itu, produk hasil pengembangan bahan ajar BIPA keterampilan membaca tidak hanya diproduksi dalam bentuk hard file. Akan tetapi, dalam bentuk e-book dengan format PDF. Penggunaan bahan ajar dalam bentuk buku elektronik dapat memudahkan mahasiswa asing untuk mengakses dan mempelajarinya.

Abstract

Reading is an obligation for students, Therefore, Indonesian Tadris students who will become educators should also be able to develop reading skills. Unfortunately, this is still far from expectations, thus it is necessary to apply the right and suitable method to increase student passion in the reading comprehensive subject. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation, benefits, constraints, and solutions of the KaKi technique with quantum learning style in the Comprehensive Reading learning. This study used descriptive qualitative with a case study research approach. The data sources are obtained from places, events, informants, and documents. Places and events are the processes of implementing learning carried out in the classroom. The informants in this study were Indonesian Tadris Department students. The documents studied are related to the implementation of Comprehensive Reading learning. The data obtained were analyzed using an interactive analysis model which included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results showed that 1) the implementation of the KaKi technique with Quantum Learning Style was suitable with the  RPS or Semester Learning Plan compiled by lecturers following curriculum standards. 2) There are benefits in implementing the KaKi technique with Quantum Learning Style. 3) There are constraints in implementing the KaKi technique with Quantum Learning Style.

Abstract

Keanekaragaman budaya dan kearifan lokal di Indonesia mampu memikat ketertarikan masyarakat Internasional. Dangdut koplo menjadi salah satu nilai keunikan budaya dan kearifan lokal yang jarang dimanfaatkan sebagai materi ajar BIPA berbasis kearifan lokal. Menjawab permasalahan tersebut, penulis tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian dangdut koplo sebagai materi ajar BIPA tingkat lanjut.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali nilai budaya atau kearifan lokal pada lagu dangdut koplo, merelevansikannya sebagai materi ajar pembelajaran BIPA tingkat lanjut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data didapatkan dari informan dan dokumen. Informan yang dipilih adalah pengajar, tutor dan mahasiswa BIPA UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta. Dokumen yang digunakan berupa naskah lirik lagu dangdut koplo yang berkembang di Indonesia. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling, sehingga data yang dipakai benar-benar terkait dengan permasalahan yang dikaji. Data sampel penelitian difokuskan pada lagu-lagu dangdut koplo yang liriknya mengandung nilai kearifan lokal. Seperti “Mendung Tanpo Udan”, “Ndasku Mumet Ndasmu Piye”, “Tresnoku Kepenggak Itungan Jowo” dan lainnya. Hasil penelitian ini berupa temuan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal pada lagu dangdut koplo seperti sandang atau busana, pangan, alat, cuaca, tranportasi, religi, papan atau tempat rekreasi, pantun, parikan, peribahasa, sistem pekerjaan. Lagu-lagu dangdut koplo bermuatan kearifan lokal dalam riset ini dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ajar untuk mahasiswa BIPA tingkat lanjut, yaitu BIPA 7. Sesuai Permendikbud RI nomor 27 tahun 2017 tentang standar kompetensi lulusan kursus dan pelatihan BIPA, dalam BIPA 7 unit kompetensi mendengarkan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan representasi akhlak sebagai nilai dakwah yang terkandung dalam kumpulan esai Dari Bilik Pesantren karya Ahmad Khadafi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan strategi analisis isi. Data berupa kata dan kalimat yang bersumber dari kumpulan esai Dari Bilik Pesantren. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat nilai-nilai akhlak yang terkandung dalam kumpulan esai Dari Bilik Pesantren meliputi akhlak hubungan antara manusia dengan Allah (hablumminallah), akhlak terhadap sesama manusia, dam akhlak dengan hati nurani. Akhlak hubungan manusia dengan Allah terdapat dalam esai yang berjudul Buang Air Besar dalam Puasa dan Zakat, Dompet Nyai dan Satpam Takut Masuk Pesantren. Akhlak terhadap sesama manusia terdapat dalam esai yang berjudul Dompet Nyai dan Satpam Takut Masuk Pesantren. Akhlak dengan hati nurani terdapat dalam esai yang berjudul Sandal Bertuliskan “Abah” Kiai Ma‟ruf. Dari penelitian ini dapat diketahui juga bahwa nilai-nilai akhlak yang direpresentasikan dalam kumpulan esai tersebut, memberikan manfaat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sehingga menjadi contoh yang kuat serta bisa mempengaruhi tindakan individu. Selain itu kumpulan esai tersebut dapat berperan sebagai sumber pembelajaran dan refleksi yang bermanfaat bagi individu dan masyarakat secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the Moderation-Based BIPA Curriculum of UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta. This research uses qualitative methods and a phenomenological study approach. Data collection in this research is participant observation, observation, interviews and document analysis. The validity of the data in research uses triangulation of methods and data sources. The data analysis technique used in this research is the Cresswel model of phenomenological data analysis. The research results show that the curriculum management that applies to BIPA learning at UIN Raden Mas Said is 1) planning, which includes curriculum objectives, learning, textbooks, facilities and infrastructure, teaching staff, BIPA teaching methods, evaluation design. 2) organization, including study schedules and student data, tools, learning media and infrastructure, learning and its methods. 3) implementation, including learning activities, lesson plans (RPS) documents, textbooks, teaching methods, BIPA institutions related to teacher attitudes and quality, existence of facilities and infrastructure, evaluation, process and assessment. 4) supervision, which includes graduate competency standards, learning process standards, teacher and tutor standards, and learning assessment standards. Meanwhile, the values ​​of religious moderation found are tawassuth (moderate), tawazun (continuous), i'tidal (straight and firm), tasamuh (tolerant), musawah (equality), shura (deliberation), tathawur wa ibtikar (dynamic and innovative) and tadadhdhur (civilized).

Abstract

Reading and writing are basic literacy that still needs to be cultivated, including for students. One of the literacy strategies is through learning. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which aims to improve literacy in responding to texts through the use of APIK interactive learning media. The CAR in this study employed the model of Kemmis and Mc Taggart (1992). This research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation and evaluation/reflection stages. Each cycle was carried out for six meetings. Data collection was carried out using student activity observation sheets and learning outcomes tests which were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively with descriptive analysis. In its application, it uses APIK syntax: (1) A, apperception or giving stimulation, (2) P, Pahami, students conduct surveys and listen to media, (3) I, implement, students compose response texts (4) K, communicate, students present their work. The subjects of this study were students of SMP Negeri 3 Peterongan, class 9H, for the academic year 2022/2023, as many as 27 students. The instruments used are observation sheets, documentation sheets, and the students’ writing in response texts. In the first cycle, the group’s results were 100% complete, individually 70% completed. As for the second cycle, the group completed 100% and individually 93%. Thus, there is an increase in student learning outcomes in the form of responding to texts. It can be concluded that APIK interactive learning media can improve students’ literacy through responding to texts.

Abstract

Congklak is a local culture that can be utilized as BIPA teaching material. There needs to be research on BIPA teaching materials regarding the game of congklak with local wisdom content that can be integrated with religious moderation. Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting research related to the traditional game of congklak which is associated with the principles of religious moderation in BIPA learning conducted at UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta.  This research aims to examine the utilization of traditional games based on local wisdom and religious moderation as teaching materials. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data in this study are local wisdom-based materials using the traditional game of congklak with data sources in the form of documents and several references relevant to the research. The results showed that the conventional congklak game could be used as a fun and effective teaching material for BIPA learning because, in addition to being used as an introduction to Indonesian culture. Abstract

The people of Karanganyar, Central Java, have a high enthusiasm for writing literacy culture, one of which is the writing community of Forum Lingkar Pena (FLP), which always carries civilization by writing to provide enlightenment to the community. Their enthusiasm still needs to be honed because their writings are not fully in accordance with the guidelines for writing popular articles. Therefore, the TBI FAB IAIN Surakarta Study Program organizes Community Service (PkM) activities in the form of training in writing popular articles about local wisdom for the community. This activity aims to increase the role and contribution of FLP in improving the literacy culture for the Karanganyar community. The method of this activity includes preparatory meetings, meeting to determine participants, sending application letters and the place of implementation, sending participant invitation letters, technical preparation and accommodation, preparation of activity reports, submission of activity documents to FAB. The result of this activity was that the participants were very enthusiastic about participating in the training activities. The enthusiasm of the participants can be seen from the popular articles that have been made. In general, they are able to apply popular article writing, but there are some things that are not paid attention to in terms of leads, topics, titles, subtitles, vocabulary selection, outline, and content.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Sebagian masyarakat memandang pesantren hanya suatu wadah khusus dalam mempelajari agama, belum lagi bagi pesantren yang mencoba mempertahankan nilai-nilai tradisi leluhur tak jarang dianggap sebagai suatu keterbelakangan. Hal tersebut memberikan dampak pada penilaian sebagian masyarakat yang menyebabkan pendidikan pondok pesantren kurang diminati. Atas dasar tersebut, implementasi strategi pemasaran menjadi penting untuk menjawab sebuah kebutuhan. Maksud dari tujuan ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan implementasi strategi pemasaran di lembaga pendidikan Pondok Pesantren Al Muayyad Surakarta. Artikel penelitian ini menggunakan strategi kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan dengan jenis fokus penelitian studi kasus. Sumber data berupa dokumen dan informan. Dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dan content analysis. Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan model atau pola interaktif, dikumpulkan, dikelompokkan, dianalisis, lalu ditarik kesimpulan dengan tetap mengacu teori manajemen strategik Fred R. David tentang implementasi strategi pemasaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat strategi pemasaran pendidikan yang dilakukan Pondok Pesantren Al Muayyad Surakarta, yakni pengelolaan promosi lembaga, perencanaan pemasaran, pengorganisasian pemasaran, pembentukan struktur organisasi pemasaran, keterlibatan kiai dan pimpinan dalam pengendalian pemasaran, adanya pembeda dalam pencapaian target pengelolaan pemasaran. Kemudian, implementasi strategi pemasaran Pondok Pesantren Al Muayyad dilakukan dengan melihat persoalan atau permasalahan pemasaran yang meliputi positioning product dan segmentasi pasar. Segmentasi pasar mencakup bentuk produk, harga, promosi, dan tempat. Adapun positioning product berkaitan dengan keistimewaan yang dimiliki Pondok Pesantren Al Muayyad yakni “Cerdas dan Mulia Bersama Al-Qur’an. Kata Kunci: Implementasi Strategi, Pemasaran, Pesantren.
