Abstract

This study aims to identify the impact of implementing the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning model assisted by digital comic media on students' critical thinking skills in class IV photosynthesis material at State Elementary Schools. The method used is a pre-experimental quantitative approach with one group pretest-posttest as the design. all fourth grade students at SDN Banyuurip, totaling 20 students, were used as the population in this study. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, involving all 20 students. Data was collected through tests in the form of essay questions. Data analysis includes several tests, including testing the test instrument to ensure the validity and reliability of the questions. The normality test uses the one-sample Shapiro-Wilk test formula, with the data declared to be normally distributed at a significance level of 5% (0.05). The prerequisite test involves a homogeneity test to check the similarity of variance between the two groups, and the hypothesis is tested using a paired sample t-test. . The results of the study show that there is a significant impact of using the PBL learning model with digital comic media on the critical thinking abilities of fourth grade students at state elementary schools in photosynthesis material. This was proven by the results of the paired sample t-test which showed a sig value. (2-tailed) is worth 0.000, therefore H0 is rejected while Ha is accepted.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan (Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik) LKPD eco-enzyme berbasis (Project-based Learning) PjBL pada materi bioteknologi untuk melatih sikap peduli lingkungan siswa SMP kelas IX. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Research and Development (RnD) dengan model 4-D yang terdiri dari tahap define, design, develop and disseminate. Hasil pengembangan LKPD berbasis PjBL dikatakan layak berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa. Hasil validasi ahli materi mendapatkan persentase sebesar 91%, hasil validasi ahli media mendapatkan nilai persentase sebesar 89%, dan hasil validasi ahli bahasa mendapatkan nilai sebesar 90% dengan kategori sangat layak. LKPD juga dinyatakan sangat praktis digunakan dengan hasil respon siswaan guru sebesar 88%. Hasil penerapan LKPD di lapangan berdasarkan penilaian sikap peduli lingkungan siswa dengan uji statistik menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa LKPD dan model PjBL yang diterapkan di kelas eksperimen memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa. Oleh karena itu, LKPD dan model PjBL ini dapat dipertimbangkan untuk pembelajaran pendidikan di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to develop Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media on the topic of Earth structure and its development to improve the learning outcomes of eighth-grade students. Methodology: The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The media was validated by media, content, and language experts. Practicality testing involved 25 students from MTsN 9 Ngawi and one science teacher. Effectiveness was tested through an independent sample t-test between the experimental and control groups. Main Findings: The AR media developed was deemed highly feasible with validation scores: 86% (media), 92% (content), and 95% (language). Practicality received scores of 96% from the teacher and 84% from students. The t-test showed a significant difference (p < 0.001) between the learning outcomes of the experimental and control groups. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study confirms that AR technology effectively improves students’ understanding of Earth structure concepts through interactive visualizations. It also boosts learning motivation and can be used independently both inside and outside the classroom. However, successful implementation requires adequate infrastructure and teacher training.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: Developing an e-module based on Culturally Responsive Teaching integrated with Javanese gamelan on the material of wave vibrations for grade eight junior high school, to train students’ critical thinking skills and increase the relevance of learning to local culture. Based on the low level of students’ critical thinking skills, it can be seen in the 2022 PISA results with an average score of 383. Methodology: Research and Development with a 4-D development model (define, design, develop, disseminate). The study involved expert validation, limited trials, and field trials on students of Junior high school 6 Ngawi. Data were collected through critical thinking ability tests, student and teacher response questionnaires, and statistical tests using SPSS and Microsoft Excel. Main Findings: The e-module is feasible and effective for training students' critical thinking skills. Independent sample t-test revealed significant differences between the experimental and control groups, with the percentage of the practicality questionnaire reaching 90%, indicating a positive response from students and teachers to the e-module. Novelty/Originality of this study: The uniqueness of this research lies in the integration of physics concepts with local wisdom of Javanese gamelan in an interactive e-module. The Culturally Responsive Teaching model allows learning to be more contextual, interesting, and relevant for students, while contributing to cultural preservation through science education.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to develop E-LKPD based on CTL containing local wisdom of Ngawi with the help of the liveworksheet website to train students’ critical thinking skills. Methodology: The research design used by the researcher is R&D research. The development procedure used is the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The trial subjects were class VII D, VII E, and teachers at MTs Negeri 9 Ngawi. Main Findings: The results of the study showed that the CTL-based E-LKPD had high feasibility, with validation results from material experts of 91% (very feasible), language experts of 76.3% (feasible), and media experts of 91.7% (very feasible). Practicality tests from students and teachers showed positive responses with a very practical category (95% and 91.4%). In addition, the analysis of effectiveness based on learning outcomes showed a significant increase in critical thinking skills of students in the experimental class compared to the control class (p value <0.05). Novelty/Originality of this study: E-LKPD integrates Ngawi’s local wisdom, namely Seloondo tourism as a learning resource, so that it not only improves students’ critical thinking skills, but also instills ecological awareness and local culture. In addition, the use of the Liveworksheet website makes E-LKPD more interactive, flexible, and innovative than conventional LKPD.

Abstract

The Pancasila Student Profile is used as a guideline in the process of shapingstudent character in accordance with the noble values of the Indonesian nation. Atthe elementary school level, which is the first stage of formal education, its role iscrucial in shaping character values and national culture for all students. Thepurpose of this research is to: (1) Determine the planning of art extracurricularactivities at SD Negeri Girikerto 2. (2) Determine the implementation of danceextracurricular activities at SD Negeri Girikerto 2. (3) Determine the evaluation ofdance extracurricular activities at SD Negeri Girikerto 2. This research uses aqualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques includeobservation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that theimplementation of the Pancasila Student Profile in dance extracurricular activitiesbased on local wisdom at SD Negeri Girikerto 2 is carried out through planning,implementation, and evaluation processes. This activity has implemented sixdimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile and promotes positive developmentfor students&#39; talents and the school. Through the Orek-Orek dance, a traditionaldance from Ngawi, this extracurricular activity also builds cultural identity andinstills the noble values of traditional arts in students.

Abstract

Penelitian mengenai peran guru dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan literasi ini di latar belakangi oleh masih belum meratanya kemampuan literasi membaca pada diri siswa, di sini guru memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa, khususnya membaca. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksaan kegiatan literasi di MI PSM Watualang, mengetahui peran guru dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan literasi, khusunya literasi membaca pada kelas II di MI PSM Watualang dan mengetahui faktor pendukung serta penghambat dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi yang ada pada kelas II MI PSM Watualang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan datanya yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan literasi di MI PSM Watualang sudah cukup baik tetapi kurang maksimal karena hanya dilakukan 2 kali dalam 1 bulan. Peran guru dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa yaitu guru sebagai pendidik, guru sebagai fasilitator, guru sebagai motivator dan guru sebagai evaluator. Faktor pendukung dalam kegiatan literasi yaitu sarana prasarana yang memadai dan keikutsertaan orang tua dalam pengadaan bahan bacaan di kelas. Faktor penghambat dalam kegiatan literasi yaitu keterbatasannya waktu, minat membaca siswa masih kurang dan orang tua dirumah tidak ikut serta dalam memantau perkembangan kemampuan anak.

Abstract

Internalisasi nilai karakter religius dan disiplin melalui kegiatan tahfiz dilakukan karena disebabkan oleh peristiwa kurangnya moral yang terjadi pada zaman sekarang dan pentingnya pendidikan karakter untuk menumbuhkan kepribadian yang tangguh dan berkontribusi positif terhadap masyarakat luas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan/mendeskripsikan kegiatan tahfiz, internalisasi nilai karakter religius, dan internalisasi nilai karakter disiplin melalui kegiatan tahfiz Al-Qur’an. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dan bersifat deskriptif kualitatif untuk memperoleh deskripsi/penjelasan mengenai bagaimana internalisasi nilai karakter religius dan disiplin melalui kegiatan tahfiz Al-Qur’an. Untuk mengumpulkan data, peneliti menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi (pengamatan), dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakter religius dan disiplin bisa ditanamkan dengan adanya kegiatan keagamaan salah satunya tahfiz Al-Qur’an. Karakter religius terdiri dari 3 indikator yaitu: 1) taat kepada Allah yang ditunjukkan dengan kebiasaan mengucapkan dan menjawab salam, membaca doa, dan menghindari perilaku buruk, 2) percaya diri yang ditunjukkan dengan sikap yakin siswa dan percaya bisa menyelesaikan hafalan, 3) peduli lingkungan yang ditunjukkan dengan kebiasaan menjaga kebersihan tempat tahfiz. Karakter disiplin terdapat 4 indikator yaitu : 1) datang tepat waktu yang ditunjukkan dengan siswa masuk kelas tepat waktu sesuai jadwal sebelum gurunya masuk kelas, 2) patuh tata tertib dan aturan ditunjukkan dengan siswa mematuhi aturan dari guru pada kegiatan tahfiz untuk mendengarkan dan memperhatikan saat guru menjelaskan, 3) menyelesaikan tugas tepat waktu, 4) setoran hafalan tepat waktu ditunjukkan dengan siswa yang menyetorkan hafalannya rutin setiap hari.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menanggapi masalah tentang rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VII SMP pada materi bumi dan tata surya. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengembangkan e-modul bumi dan tata surya berbasis RICOSRE untuk melatihkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Desain penelitian berupa Research and Development (RnD) menggunakan model 4-D yang dibatasi sampai tahap develop. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen analisis kebutuhan, instrumen uji kelayakan dan instrumen uji kepraktisan. Teknik analisis data dengan uji kelayakan teoretis dan empiris serta uji kepraktisan terhadap produk e-modul bumi dan tata surya berbasis RICOSRE. Sampel penelitian menggunakan siswa kelas VII A MTs Negeri 8 Ngawi dengan jumlah 20 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk e-modul dikategorikan layak secara teoretis dengan hasil validasi pada aspek materi 93%, aspek media 80%, dan aspek bahasa 87%. E-modul juga dikategorikan layak secara empiris berdasarkan hasil perhitungan N-gain yaitu sebesar 0,54 dengan kriteria sedang. Selain itu, e-modul dikategorikan praktis dengan hasil respon siswa sebesar 90% dan respon guru sebesar 97%. Sehingga diambil kesimpulan bahwa produk e-modul bumi dan tata surya berbasis RICOSRE layak secara teoretis dan empiris serta praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran.
