Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) and Gross Profit Margin (GPM) on Financial Distress and moderated by Stock Prices. The population in this study were 24 companies in the retail subsector listed on the Southeast Asian Stock Exchange for the period 2012-2019. The method used is purposive sampling so that 15 companies that present complete financial reports according to the variables studied and obtained as many as 105 company samples were subjected to data outliers because the data did not have a normal distribution, thus 81 samples were obtained. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that the Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) partially affected Financial Distress, while Current Ratio (CR) and Gross Profit Margin (GPM) partially had no significant effect on Financial Distress and simultaneously CR, DAR, GPM had an effect on Financial Distress. The moderation test shows that the stock price in this study is proven to moderate the relationship of the independent variables (CR, DAR and GPM) to the dependent variable (Financial Distress).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Altman z-score method on financial distress with the independent variables namely WCTA, RETA, EBITTA, MVETL, and STA on the dependent variable, namely Financial Distress. In manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016-2020. Based on the research results that have been described previously, it can be concluded that:In calculating the Altman z-score method in the research year the company is categorized: Safe : CTRA company for 3 years of research, Gray Area : SQBB company for 5 years research, Financial distress: BTEK and AISA companies for 3 years of research. The ratio of Working Capital to Total Assets (WCTA) has a significant effect on Financial Distress. The ratio of Retained Earnings to Total Assets (RETA) has no significant effect on Financial Distress. The ratio of Earnings Before Interest and Taxes to Total Assets (EBITTA) has a significant effect on Financial Distress. The Market Value of Equity to Total Liability (MVETL) ratio has no significant effect on Financial Distress.Ratio of Sales to Total Assets (STA) has a significant effect on Financial Distress. Recommendations for companies to maintain financial ratios (WCTA, RETA, EBTTA, MVETL, and STA) so that companies avoid bankruptcy and can still strive to create improvements to financial ratios (WCTA, EBITTA, and STA) based on research these ratios have a significant effect to financial distress. For researchers to be able to further develop research similar to financial distress such as bankruptcy risk, as well as analysis of financial ratios that can be expanded to do better. In this case, it is not only the types of food and beverage industry companies, but also other types of industrial companies. Subsequent research can use a period of more than five years so that it is expected to be a useful comparison basis for further research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Return On Equity, Total Asset Turn Over, and Cash Ratio on Stock Prices moderated by Financial Distress and Debt to Asset Ratio. This study uses the objects of the Property and Real Estate sub-sector companies on the Southeast Asian Stock Exchange for the period 2012-2020. The data collected is secondary data with the documentation method in the form of the company's annual report. The analytical tool used to test the hypothesis is SPSS 26. The sampling method used in this study using purposive sampling technique obtained 11 companies that present complete financial statements, so that obtained as many as 99 samples. The analytical technique used is descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption test,MRA, multiple linear regression, t test, and f test. The result of the research partiallyconcludes that Return On Equity has no effect on Stock Price, Total Asset Turn Over has a significant effect on Stock Price, and Cash Ratio has a significant effect on Stock Price. The results of the study simultaneously Return On Equity, Total Asset Turn Over, and Cash Ratio significant effect on stock prices. MRA research results shows that Financial Distress Moderate Return On Equity on Stock Prices, Financial Distress moderate Total Asset Turn Over to Stock Price, Financial Distress does not moderate Cash Ratio to Stock Price, Debt To Asset Ratio moderates Return On Equity to Stock Price, Debt To Asset Ratio moderate Total Asset Turn Over to Stock Price, and Debt To Asset Ratio does not moderate Cash Ratio to the Share Price.

Abstract

Financial literacy is an important knowledge to improve people's welfare in the future. Some of the fundamental variables of financial literacy include an understanding of inflation, numeration or interest rates, risk diversification and compound interest. Every year, many Alumnae of Serang Raya University become young entrepreneurs who have a better level of education than the previous generation, including knowledge of finance. According to a report from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) related to Indonesia's Population Projection, it is stated that the population with a vulnerable age of 20-34 years can simply be grouped into millennials and Alumnae are part of millennials. The millennial generation will in time have personal financial responsibilities. They will make important financial decisions that can affect the level of welfare in the future. Keywords : ,,

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of good corporate governance and free cash flow on earnings management. Good Corporate Governance factors used in this study are the size of the audit committee, independent board of commissioners, institutional ownership, and managerial ownership. Earnings management value is measured using discretionary accruals. The research sample is 12 transportation companies listed on the Southeast Asian Stock Exchange which were selected through purposive sampling in the 2014-2018 period. Data were analyzed based on multiple linear regression. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that the good corporate governance factors (audit committee size, independent board of commissioners, institutional ownership, managerial ownership) and free cash flow have no significant effect on earnings management, either partially or simultaneously.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of Working Capital and Financial Management on the Income of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Case Study of the "Yanto KPN" Meatball UMKM. To obtain data from these variables, researchers made direct observations at the "Yanto KPN" Meatball UMKM. The data used in this research is primary data. This type of research uses action research with a case study method. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The method used in this research is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Classical Assumption Test and Hypothesis Testing using the SPSS program. Based on the results of the T test in this research, it shows that working capital has a positive and significant effect on income, and financial management also has a positive and significant effect on income. Simultaneous results with the F test in this study show that working capital and financial management simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on income. The R Square (R2) value is 0.650, which indicates that 65% of income can be explained by independent variables, namely working capital and financial management, while the remaining 35% is explained by other variables. It is recommended that Bakso "Yanto KPN" MSMEs pay more attention to working capital and financial management in a systematic way to make it easier to evaluate working capital and financial management as well as respondents' openness in answering researchers' questions.

Abstract

This study sought to ascertain the effects of financial management practices on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the Sate Bandeng culinary sub-sector's creative economy in Serang District, Serang City. Using 30 informants, a descriptive qualitative approach was used for this study's research design. Observation, reading, interviews, and documentation studies are all used as data collection methods. techniques for data analysis that include gathering data, reducing it, presenting it, and drawing conclusions. The study's findings indicate that the Sate Bandeng culinary economy's Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises are impacted by financial management practices. This can be seen from the perspective of financial literacy, record keeping, investments, and savings that can have a pretty significant impact on income for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise actors in the creative economy of the milkfish satay culinary sub-sector in Serang District, Serang City, before, during, and after the Covid-19 pandemic. Future studies are anticipated to look at the advantages of technical financial advice in order to advance knowledge and skills in financial management and reveal how awareness of financial management's significance is one of the keys to raising the standard of business in the future.

Abstract

The coffee industry in Indonesia, particularly in Serang City, has shown significant growth in recent years. This growth is driven by an increasing interest among the public in coffee as a lifestyle, as well as the emergence of various coffee brands, including Point Coffee, which has managed to maintain its position despite facing increasingly fierce competition. This study aims to analyze the influence of brand use and brand image on consumer purchasing decisions of Point Coffee in Serang City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, where primary data is collected through questionnaire distributed to consumers. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Partial - based Equation Modeling (SEM). Least Squares (PLS). The results of the study show that the brand use and brand image has a significant influence on purchasing decisions. Brand image was found to have more dominant influence than brand use in influencing purchasing decisions.These findings provide important insights for Point Coffee in development more effective marketing strategies, with a focus on strengthening brand image and increasing brand exposure in the market. This study also contribute to the development of literature on the influence of brand use and brand image in the coffee industry sector, especially in non-metropolitan areas.

Abstract

Purpose – The purpose of this study is to analyze and formulate effective marketing strategies for Baduy Batik as a traditional cultural product in the contemporary fashion market while maintaining its cultural authenticity. The study examines the internal and external factors influencing the marketing performance of Baduy Batik and identifies strategic approaches to enhance its competitiveness. Design/methodology/approach – This study employs a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with Baduy Batik artisans, business actors, and consumers. The collected data were analyzed using SWOT analysis to identify the key strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats affecting the marketing of Baduy Batik and to formulate appropriate marketing strategies. Findings/Results – The findings indicate that the distinctive cultural identity of Baduy Batik represents its primary competitive advantage in the fashion market. However, limited market access, insufficient promotional activities, and consumer perceptions of Baduy Batik as an overly traditional product remain significant challenges. The study proposes an integrated marketing strategy that combines cultural storytelling, social media marketing, e-commerce utilization, and collaboration with fashion designers to expand market reach while preserving the traditional values embedded in the product. Originality/Value – This study contributes to the literature by demonstrating how traditional cultural products can adapt to contemporary market dynamics through innovative yet culturally sensitive marketing strategies. It also provides practical insights for artisans, policymakers, and business practitioners seeking to balance commercial development with the preservation of local cultural heritage.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kinerja finansial rumah sakit memiliki hubungan yang kompleks dengan kualitas layanan kesehatan. Stabilitas keuangan memungkinkan investasi dalam teknologi, pelatihan, dan infrastruktur yang mendukung peningkatan mutu layanan. Namun, tekanan biaya dan pandemi COVID-19 telah menguji ketahanan finansial rumah sakit di seluruh dunia.Tujuan: Mengeksplorasi hubungan antara kinerja finansial dan kualitas perawatan di berbagai konteks rumah sakit, termasuk rumah sakit nirlaba, berorientasi laba, dan yang beroperasi di negara maju maupun berkembang.Metodologi: Tinjauan literatur dilakukan pada 10 artikel akademik yang terindeks di Scopus, PubMed, dan WoS menggunakan pendekatan scoping review. Artikel dianalisis berdasarkan fokus pada kinerja finansial, investasi, dan kualitas layanan kesehatan, dengan mempertimbangkan variabel seperti kepemilikan rumah sakit, pengelolaan investasi, dan dampak pandemi.Hasil Utama: Sebagian besar studi menunjukkan hubungan positif antara kinerja finansial dan kualitas perawatan. Rumah sakit dengan kondisi finansial yang stabil lebih mampu berinvestasi dalam teknologi seperti Healthcare 4.0 dan inisiatif mutu. Namun, tantangan signifikan terlihat di negara berkembang dan pada rumah sakit berorientasi laba yang menghadapi tekanan untuk memenuhi ekspektasi pemegang saham. Pandemi COVID-19 juga memperburuk risiko finansial, terutama pada rumah sakit dengan ketergantungan tinggi pada layanan elektif.Kesimpulan: Investasi strategis dalam pengelolaan keuangan rumah sakit, termasuk diversifikasi pendapatan dan penguatan cadangan keuangan, dapat meningkatkan kualitas layanan kesehatan secara signifikan. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk menjawab kesenjangan dalam literatur, terutama di negara berkembang, dan mengembangkan standar pengukuran yang lebih konsisten.Kata Kunci: Kinerja Finansial, Kualitas Perawatan, Rumah Sakit, Investasi, Kesehatan
