This means that there is an increase in children's emotional intelligence before and after the brain gym and penguin dance techniques are carried out. The results of the Mann Whitney test showed p = 0.004 0.05, the group after being given the Brain Gym and Penguin Dance techniques, had a mean rank value of the Brain Gym technique of 23.53, while the Penguin Dance technique was 13.47, so it can be seen the mean rank the Brain Gym technique is greater than the Penguin Dance technique, which means that the Brain Gym technique is equally effective in increasing the emotional intelligence of preschool children

Cervical cancer incidence ranks second after breast cancer. One of the efforts to detect cervical cancer early is the IVA method. The formation of IVA cadres in Bejiruyung Village was a breakthrough in efforts to reduce cervical cancer cases. Health cadres as the spearhead of health empowerment need to be refreshed in improving their skills. This study used an quasi experimental study with one group pre test post test design. Data analysis used Wilcoxon test. The results of the study showed that there are increased in cervical cancer examination skills using the IVA method through refreshing cadres in Bejiruyung Village, Sempor District, Kebumen Regency in 2020 (p value 0.0001). It is hoped that the Head of the Puskesmas will optimize health promotion officers at the puskesmas and village midwives in conducting training / refreshing for IVA cadres as well as health education / health promotion on early detection of cervical cancer using the IVA method. Village midwives should always assist and provide motivation to cadres in carrying out their duties to invite women to do early cervical cancer screening using the IVA method.

Abstract

The puerperium is a vital time for both mothers and newborns, marked by a heightened risk of complications, especially within the first 24 hours after delivery. This research aimed to assess the impact of health education through video media on increasing postpartum mothers' knowledge of puerperium danger signs at the Bunda Parakan Temanggung Clinic. A quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group was used, involving 30 postpartum mothers selected via accidental sampling. Data were gathered through pre- and post-intervention questionnaires, with both video and leaflet media used as educational tools, and analyzed with a t-test. The results showed that video media significantly enhanced mothers' knowledge, with 67% of respondents showing adequate understanding (p-value 0.003, mean difference 0.67), compared to 53% for the leaflet group (p-value 0.014, mean difference 0.46). These outcomes suggest that video media is more effective than leaflets in raising awareness about puerperium danger signs, and thus, it is advised that health education programs emphasize the use of video media to better inform postpartum mothers
