Abstract

The problems faced by two private schools that have almost the same characteristics, namely SDK Girisonta and SDK Genuk, are implementing distance learning and limited face-to-face learning during the COVID-19 pandemic and preparing AKM (minimum competency assessment) including literacy and numeracy skills. The solution to overcome these problems is blended learning training and mentoring centered on literacy and numeracy skills. The method of implementing the Participatory Action and Learning System method includes awareness, capacity building, mentoring and institutionalization. Teachers' knowledge of blended learning, literacy and numeracy reaches 78 in the good category so they are ready to plan and implement. Learning tools with blended learning and focusing on literacy and numeracy, teachers design and implement them in the classroom during distance learning. Reflection on the results of implementation assistance shows that it is very successful in blended learning (92%), successful in focusing on literacy (81%) and less successful in focusing on numeracy (47%). The suggestion from this community service activity is that the success of blended learning is influenced by the readiness of schools, teachers, parents and students, so good communication and awareness of all parties are needed. Through a variety of electronic learning resources and online games that focus on literacy and numeracy, students accompanied by teachers and parents can learn optimally to develop their potential.

Abstract

This study aims to develop, study the feasibility and effectiveness of mathematics comic media based on mind mapping for fifth-grade students of public elementary schools in Demak. The method used is the Sugiyono Research and Development model consisting of 7 steps. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics, t-test, z-test and n-gain. The results showed the development process of mathematical comic media based on mind mapping on speed and discharge topics with the local cultural background of Demak city. Media was assessed by material, media, and language experts, and It showed valid results and very feasible to be implemented.  This media's effectiveness is indicated by the improvement of the Students’ learning outcomes and learning achievement.  Students and teachers' response about this media shows positive responses because the comic media are practical and complete content, such as (material, question, assignment, solution, and evaluation). The conclusion is learning media has been successfully developed.    Mathematics comic media based on mind mapping is very feasible and practical used in learning mathematics, and it is efeffectively improvements’ learning.

Abstract

Abstract Assessment of learning outcomes often referred to by students as replays becomes something scary for students. There needs to be effort and innovation to change the stigma of students towards replay. If the replay is packaged interestingly, then the student will have enthusiasm and motivation towards the replay because the student feels as a pleasant thing so it will have a positive impact on the student's learning outcomes. The purpose of this community service activity is to improve the skills of elementary school teachers in conducting assessment analysis of learning results based on information technology. Especially intended to develop skills to elementary school teachers in the analysis of learning results based on plickers technology through training and mentoring activities. Training materials include the introduction of plickers, technical development of plickers, and the practice of using plickers. A sample of 30 teachers at SD Ngaliyan 01 was taken purposive random sampling. Training methods include q&A, discussions, assignments, portfolios, pretes, posts and preparation of follow-up plans. The results of community activities show the following: the average attendance of participants was 96.3% with full participation. Pretest & posttest results showed participants an average of 59.17. The average postest was 89.8. The average community service team attendance is 100%. Presentation of material is carried out by discussion method, assignment, demonstration and lecture with a handout of serving material. 100% certificate kepesertan workshop 36 JP. There is an increase in participants' scores from pretest to postest, it can be concluded that there is a development of the skills of elementary school teachers in the assessment of student learning results based on plickers technology in Ngaliyan Sub-district of Semarang. Abstrak Asesmen hasil belajar yang sering disebut oleh siswa sebagai ulangan menjadi sesuatu hal yang menakutkan bagi siswa. Perlu adanya upaya dan inovasi untuk mengubah stigma siswa terhadap ulangan. Apabila ulangan dikemas dengan menarik, maka siswa akan memiliki antusias dan motivasi terhadap ulangan karena siswa merasakan sebagai hal yang menyenangkan sehingga akan berdampak positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan keterampilan guru sekolah dasar (SD) dalam melakukan analisis asesmen hasil belajar berbasis teknologi informasi. Khususnya dimaksudkan mengembangkan keterampilan kepada guru-guru SD dalam analisis asesmen hasil belajar berbasis teknologi plickers melalui kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan. Materi pelatihan meliputi pengenalan plickers, teknis pengembangan plickers, dan praktik penggunaan plickers. Sampel kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini sebanyak 30 guru di SD Ngaliyan 01 yang diambil secara purposive random sampling. Metode pelatihan meliputi tanya jawab, diskusi, penugasan, portofolio, pretes, postes dan penyusunan rencana tindak lanjut. Hasil kegiatan masyarakat menunjukkan hal-hal sebagai berikut: rata-rata kehadiran peserta 96,3% dengan partisipasi penuh. Hasil pretest & postest peserta menunjukkan rata- rata 59,17. Adapun perolehan nilai rata- rata pada postest adalah 89,8. Kehadiran tim pengabdian masyarakat rata-rata 100%. Penyajian materi dilaksanakan dengan metode diskusi, penugasan, demonstrasi dan ceramah dilengkapi handout materi sajian. Diberikan sertifikat kepesertaan workshop setara 36 JP. Terjadi peningkatan nilai peserta dari pretest ke postest, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengembangan keterampilan guru SD dalam analisis asesmen hasil belajar siswa berbasis teknologi plickers di Kecamatan Ngaliyan Kota Semarang.

Abstract

PGSD (elementary school teacher Education) 's research skills affect the quality of the resulting thesis, which also affects the length of student thesis completion. The purpose of this research is to develop the book of research methodology in PGSD, with the need for examples of research topics in elementary school with a mind map to make the mindset more and more skilled and lead students in research. This development research uses the model ADDIE: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Analysis of the data conducted, i.e. analysis of teaching materials feasibility, analysis of student responses to teaching materials, analysis of increased learning outcomes. The results of a need analysis showed 94.56% of students needed a complete and systematic learning resource innovation and equipped with a mind map as a guideline of thought flow. The content of the teaching book has been designed according to curriculum needs and need analysis results. The Draft I tested validity by material experts got a score of 87.5% (very decent) and by linguist got a score of 96.8% (very decent). Advice from material experts and linguists was made a material to revise the teaching book into Draft II, which was then tested to be limited to seeing the aspect of readability. Limited test results show student responses to the study methodology teaching book in excellent category (85.71%). Student learning results have increased and the results of N-gain test show the increase of the low category (0.26). Abstract

Permasalahan penting yang dihadapi sekolah inklusi adalah belum banyak pendekatan yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran untuk melayani PDBK (Peserta Didik Berkebutuhan Khusus), belum mengoptimalkan potensi yang dimiliki PDBK. Tantangan bertambah pada saat sekolah diharapkan mendukung implementasi kurikulum merdeka dengan pengembanagn pembelajaran berdiferensiasi.  Tujuannya agar guru kelas memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang memdai untuk merancang IEP bagi PDBK dengan mengimplementasikan pendekatan mutlisensori. Pelaksanaan kegiatan yang dilakuakn dalam 4 tahap yang mengadopsi pendekatan OL (Organizational Learning), yaitu sosialisasi, eksternalisasi, kombinasi, dan internalisasi. Dimana keempat tahap tersebut dibangun dalam 4 blok bangunan OL. Hasil yang dicapai meliputi: (1) pengetahuan guru tentang IEP dan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, pendekatan multisensori dan membaca permulaan mencapai 77,8 kategori cukup baik, (2) dihasilkan dan diimplementasikan rancangan IEP bagi PDBK, dari 3 guru kelas mencapai kategori baik. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah IEP dengan pendekatan multisensori dapat membantu guru kelas mewujudkan pelayanan yang optimal bagi PDBK berkesulitan membaca di SD inklusi.

Abstract

One way that can be done to make learning fun and not boring is to apply a variety of learning models. Teachers need to choose a learning model that fits the material, fits the characteristics of the students, and uses projects/activities as media. The learning model in question is the Project Based Learning or project-based learning. In this study, researchers used a classroom action research method. In the core activities students explain how they will carry out learning activities. Begin to be introduced by dividing the group into 3 groups with 5-6 students as members. Then they were explained about class roaming so they explored each existing post. In this study there are 5 posts that are in accordance with the project based learning (PjBL) syntax. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it shows that learning using the learning model (PjBL) gets a good response from students. This is evidenced by the students' answers to the response questionnaire given. Most of the students, namely 86%, chose to strongly agree to the response questionnaire given. Abstract

Mathematics learning is a type of learning that requires teachers to be able to act and think creatively and innovatively. For teachers to achieve success in a lesson, a learning innovation is needed that can increase student interest and motivation. This article discusses the innovative form of project-based mathematics learning and produces a monopoly board game with a focus on flat shape material. Activities carried out during learning are students in one group doing a project in the form of a monopoly board game with a flat shape. Then later, the finished monopoly game board will be exchanged with other groups and played together in one group. Several questions in the game will be discussed and answered on the assignment sheet. Writing this article aims to describe the development of abilities and understanding of children in elementary schools on the formula, characteristics, and characteristics of flat shapes through the project of making a monopoly game of flat shapes. The type of research we use is a qualitative research which is a literature study and is presented in the form of a description. The results obtained show that students are very enthusiastic about doing projects and carrying out monopoly flat shapes. It is hoped that the interest that arises in students can increase student interest and motivation to learn. So that learning can be well received by students and learning objectives can be achieved optimally.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemahaman konsep bilangan pecahan peserta didik kelas II menggunakan model luas dan model panjang dengan teori Bruner. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan di SDN 1 Randublatung pada kegiatan Kampus Mengajar angkatan 3. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pengenalan konsep bilangan pecahan perlu diperhatikan pemilihan teori belajar dan model yang digunakan. Dalam penelitian ini, teori belajar yang digunakan dalam mengenalkan konsep pecahan adalah teori Bruner, sedangkan model yang dipakai adalah model luas dan model panjang. Pengenalan konsep bilangan pecahan menggunakan model panjang dengan teori Bruner lebih efektif digunakan karena menggunakan konsep angka pada panjang ukuran sehingga peserta didik tidak kesulitan dalam menentukan panjang ukuran yang akan dibagi. Sedangkan pengenalan konsep bilangan pecahan menggunakan model luas berbantuan alat peraga berbentuk lingkaran dengan teori Bruner terdapat kendala pada bilangan pecahan dengan penyebut ganjil peserta didik kesulitan membagi luas sehingga bagian yang dibagi tidak kongruen.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara hasil belajar kognitif matematika siswa kelas IV SD Gugus Larasati belum mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal, hal ini disebabkan siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita. Model yang digunakan cenderung berpusat pada guru.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan model Problem Based Learningberbantuan media tangram terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah cluster random sampling yaitu pengambilan sampel secara acak. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari KKM dengan nilai z hitung (0,9090) > z tabel (0,1736); hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol dengan nilai thitung(5,1790)> ttabel (2,021). Rata-rata n-gain kelas eksperimen 0,6679 (sedang) dan rata-rata n-gain kelas kontrol0,299 (rendah).Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model PBL berbantuan media tangram efektif terhadap hasil belajar matematika kelas IV SD Gugus Larasati.

Abstract

Para guru mengalami kesulitan dalam pembelajaran geometri di kelas. Kebanyakan materi geometri disampaikan secara verbal, jarang menggunakan media karena kurangnya ketersediaan media dalam materi geometri. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk membantu guru SD/MI di Kecamatan Bergas Kabupaten Semarang dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran di kelas khususnya materi geometri. Media Tangram Interactive Game (TIG) merupakan hasil penelitian pada tahun 2016 diharapkan  dapat mengispirasi guru dalam memodifikasi pembelajaran geometri di SD. Metode yang akan digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode ceramah dan diskusi dilanjutkan dengan workshop pengembangan LKS dan media pembelajaran untuk materi geometri berorientasi media Tangram Interactive Game (TIG). Pendampingan oleh Tim Pengabdi dilakukan sampai dengan tahap simulasi LKS dan media yang dikembangkan. Kualitas LKS dan media yang dihasilkan para guru yang merupakan hasil luaran dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat masuk pada kategori baik. Ditunjukkan dengan kualitas LKS dan media yang sesuai dengan materi geometri dan disertai langkah kerja yang runtut. Selain itu LKS yang dibuat memenuhi syarat didaktik 60%, syarat konstruksi 75,75% dan syarat teknis 76,25%.
