Abstract

The implementation of cloud accounting in cafes and restaurants is expected to improve operational efficiency, enhance the accuracy of financial reports, and provide net benefits for businesses. However, in practice, the success of implementation still faces several challenges, such as suboptimal system quality, information quality, and service quality.This study aims to analyze the effect of system quality, information quality, and service quality on cloud accounting success, as well as the effect of cloud accounting success on net benefits among cafes and restaurants in Pematang Siantar City. The research design employs a quantitative approach using primary data. The sample consists of owners or managers, and accounting and finance staff from 170 cafes and restaurants in Pematang Siantar City. Sampling was conducted using a full sampling technique, resulting in a total of 265 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings indicate that system quality, information quality, and service quality have a positive effect on cloud accounting success, and cloud accounting success positively affects net benefits. Furthermore, cloud accounting success is proven to mediate the relationship between system quality, information quality, and service quality with net benefits.

Abstract

Pertanian merupakan mata pencaharian utama masyarakat Desa Muara, Kecamatan Tonra. Ketergantungan petani pada pupuk kimia menimbulkan dampak negatif berupa penurunan kesuburan tanah, peningkatan biaya produksi, dan risiko pencemaran lingkungan. Program pengabdian kepada Masyarakat dilaksanakan di Desa Muara, Kabupaten Bone melalui KKN Reguler 2025 Universitas Muhammadiyah Bone. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan petani tentang pembuatan dan pemanfaatan pupuk organik cair (POC) berbasis kotoran kambing sebagai alternatif pupuk ramah lingkungan dan ekonomis. Kegiatan penyuluhan mengenai manfaat POC, praktik langsung, pembuatan melalui teknik fermentasi sederhana, serta hasil angket untuk melihat tingkat pemahaman peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan tingkat pemahaman peserta pelatihan mencapai 77,78%, yang menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan tergolong berhasil dan memuaskan, karena lebih dari 75% peserta telah memahami cara pembuatan pupuk organik cair (POC). Dari hasil kegiatan pelatihan diperoleh target kegiatan pengabdian yaitu meningkatnya pemahaman petani tentang tata cara pembuatan POC dari kotoran kambing.

Abstract

The development of financial technology (fintech) has driven innovation in financial services, including fintech-based insurance services (InsurTech). However, utilization of these services still faces obstacles in the form of low public understanding, particularly in non-metropolitan areas. This study aims to analyze the Tembilahan community's understanding of fintech and how fintech-based insurance services work, and to identify the factors influencing it. This study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with Tembilahan residents selected using purposive sampling. The results indicate that the community generally only understands fintech as a digital payment service and does not yet understand the mechanisms. Service digital insurance. Low digital financial literacy, limited information, and perceived risks regarding data security and the claims process are the main factors contributing to this low understanding. However, after being provided with an explanation, the public showed a more positive attitude toward digital insurance services. Therefore, increasing digital financial literacy and education is necessary to encourage optimal understanding and utilization of insurance fintech.
