Abstract

This research aims to produce an administrative information system design to increase accuracy in data processing and the ability to provide faster information for a business and increase the accuracy of service to consumers. This study also aims to identify information system problems on the system running on Rime Syar'i business and produce a Web-based administrative information application program that includes administrative transactions to produce transaction reports and reports that are needed to facilitate business management. Rime Syar'i. The conclusion obtained from this research is that using a web-based information system, can minimize errors in data processing, increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Rime Syar'i's business work in a better direction, and ease in making reports.

Abstract

Papaya plant (Carica papaya L.) it is one of leading commodities in East Kalimantan. Papaya is widely cultivated in Samarinda, Balikpapan, and Samboja. However, farmers are often faced with the problem of papaya plant diseases that can damage and inhibit the growth of papaya plants and fruit. To solve this problem, an expert system was created to diagnose diseases in papaya plants. This expert system was created using two methods, namely Backward Chaining Reasoning and to determine the level of certainty in the diagnosis of papaya plant diseases, the Dempster Shafer method was used. The excepted result of making this expert system is to build an expert system application that can diagnose web-based diseases in papaya plants so that it can make it easier for farmers to consult and get the right solution to overcome various disease problems that attack papaya plants.

Abstract

Oyster Mushroom is a mushroom with a circular hood like an oyster shell. Oyster mushroom cultivators must understand the art and knowledge in the cultivation of oyster mushrooms. To care for oyster mushrooms oyster mushroom cultivators usually seek knowledge through sources such as books and articles as literacy. This is unsatisfactory because it is less efficient in diagnosing diseases or pests from oyster mushrooms. Therefore, it is necessary to have an expert system that represents expert knowledge and is able to provide diagnosis and solutions from oyster pests or fungal diseases. One of the methods in the expert system is Forward Chaining. Forward Chaining is a fact to get a conclusion from that fact. In this expert system, there are 5 pests of oyster mushrooms, including mites, caterpillars, slugs, termites, rats. Oyster fungus disease in this study also has 5 types of diseases including trichoderma spp, mucor, neurospora spp, bacteria, penicillium spp. The results showed that the accuracy of the system reached 90.1%. By implementing forward chaining in the oyster mushroom expert system, oyster mushroom cultivators, especially new cultivators, can conduct consultations for the identification of oyster fungus pests and diseases effectively and efficiently. The implementation of forward chaining in the oyster mushroom expert system begins with entering the symptoms in oyster mushrooms and then processing to find out the pests or diseases that are infected. The results of the consultation are supplemented with solutions to deal with pests or diseases present in oyster mushrooms.

Abstract

The quality of oranges is important to determine selling value. However, citrus quality assessments are often subjective and inconsistent, which can impact consumer satisfaction and market efficiency. In the agricultural industry, especially in citrus commodities, there are difficulties in classifying fruit quality accurately and efficiently, which has an impact on the assessment and determination of market prices. Given the importance of citrus quality in the agricultural and food industries, there is an urgent need for objective and efficient methods for classifying citrus quality. Inappropriate classification can cause economic losses for farmers and distributors, as well as reduce consumer satisfaction with product quality. As a solution, this research proposes the use of the Random Forest method to classify orange quality data. The method used in this research involved collecting orange quality data, including characteristics such as color, texture, and size. This data is then analyzed using the Random Forest algorithm. The Random Forest method is used to process orange quality data, by utilizing features such as color, size and skin texture. This model is trained using historical data to predict fruit quality. The research results show that the Random Forest method successfully classifies citrus quality data with high accuracy, demonstrating its potential as an effective tool for future citrus quality assessment by proving its effectiveness in supporting decisions in the agricultural sector.

Abstract

Kemajuan pesat dalam teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI) telah mengubah banyak aspek kehidupan modern, termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan. AI, yang merujuk pada kemampuan sistem komputer untuk melakukan tugas-tugas yang memerlukan kecerdasan manusia, menawarkan potensi besar untuk meningkatkan pengalaman belajar dan mempersiapkan siswa untuk masa depan yang lebih digital. Meskipun AI semakin sering digunakan dalam pendidikan, penerapannya masih belum merata di semua institusi pendidikan. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, pelatihan AI di SMK TI Pratama PGRI Samarinda dirancang untuk memperkenalkan dan mengimplementasikan teknologi AI dalam pembelajaran. Pelatihan ini menggunakan alat-alat AI seperti ChatGPT, Canva AI Art Generator, dan Gemini, dengan fokus pada peningkatan kreativitas siswa dalam desain grafis, pembuatan video, dan proyek multimedia. Melalui pendekatan yang mencakup teori, praktik, dan evaluasi, pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memastikan pemahaman yang mendalam dan penerapan yang efektif dari AI. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman, keterampilan, dan kreativitas siswa, serta mempersiapkan mereka untuk menghadapi tantangan dan peluang dalam dunia kerja yang semakin berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

Dalam era perkembangan teknologi yang cepat dan globalisasi yang semakin luas, pendidikan di tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD) menghadapi tantangan untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Kecerdasan Buatan (Artificial Intelligence atau AI) telah muncul sebagai sebuah alat potensial yang dapat merevolusi metode pembelajaran dan meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa. Namun, untuk berhasil menerapkan AI dalam kurikulum SD, para pendidik memerlukan pemahaman dan pelatihan yang memadai. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan latar belakang dan implementasi pelatihan penerapan AI dalam konteks pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar Daarul Hijrah Al-Amin, Samarinda. Melibatkan para guru sebagai peserta utama, pelatihan ini berfokus pada memperkenalkan konsep dasar AI dan memberikan panduan praktis tentang cara mengintegrasikan teknologi ini ke dalam metode pembelajaran yang sudah ada. Harapannya, pelatihan ini akan membantu para pendidik dalam menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang adaptif, interaktif, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan individu siswa, dengan demikian, mendorong perkembangan keterampilan dan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam. Hasil dari pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi signifikan dalam pembaruan pendekatan pembelajaran di tingkat SD dan menciptakan dasar yang kokoh untuk peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dalam menghadapi tuntutan zaman modern yang terus berkembang.

Abstract

Nowadays, Branding or marketing share has evolved from creating images to video. The appropriate videos promotions can increase consumer interest in buying products. The suitable video can provide an positive image to consumers of a product or service. However, there are many obstacles in making interesting branding with video, such as the technique of taking pictures and creating an interesting storyline, the ability to package interesting videos such as editing sound and images, dubbing and then adding text. Solution for the problem, a community service program was carried out by the Politeknik Pertanian Negeri Samarinda to owners of micro, small and medium businesses (UMKM) in Samarinda. Implementation of this activity is carried out for a one-day workshop and then online mentoring for one week. The method of implementation is with lectures, practices, discussions and then questions and answers. This activity was attended by 30 participants. From 30 participants there were 28 participants who succeeded in making a video branding with a duration of 1 to 2 minutes.

Abstract

Kutai National Park serves as a vital habitat for diverse flora and fauna, yet the park faces challenges in achieving comprehensive and efficient mapping of its biodiversity. In alignment with the 2019–2029 Long-Term Management Plan, which prioritizes completing a robust mapping system, this study proposes the development of a Geographic Information System (GIS) based on a microservices architecture. The system aims to streamline data management and support area conservation efforts. Utilizing the Extreme Programming methodology, the project leverages React JS for the web interface, React Native for mobile applications, and MongoDB for database management. System testing incorporates Postman for microservices, Selenium for web applications, and Black-Box testing for mobile apps. Feasibility evaluations use Equivalence Partitioning and the Mean Opinion Score (MOS) method, reflecting high acceptance among staff (71% Strongly Agree, 29% Agree) and visitors (47.9% Strongly Agree, 43% Agree, 3.8% Neutral). The results demonstrate the system's potential to enhance biodiversity management while fostering stakeholder engagement in conservation initiatives

Abstract

Abstrak: Karakter pertumbuhan vegetatif tanaman padi merupakan indikator awal yang penting dalam mengevaluasi potensi genotipe sebagai sumber daya genetik tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keragaman karakter vegetatif pada sembilan genotipe padi hitam lokal, yang meliputi tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah anakan, serta panjang dan lebar daun. Pengamatan dilakukan pada fase vegetatif dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan genotipe berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap seluruh parameter vegetatif yang diamati (p < 0,05). Genotipe Hitam Purwokerto menunjukkan tinggi tanaman dan jumlah anakan tertinggi, sedangkan genotipe Hitam Melik memiliki diameter batang terbesar, dan genotipe Pari Ireng memperlihatkan panjang daun terpanjang. Variasi karakter tersebut mencerminkan adanya perbedaan genetik serta potensi adaptasi genotipe terhadap lingkungan tumbuh. Hasil penelitian menegaskan pentingnya karakter vegetatif sebagai dasar dalam seleksi genotipe unggul untuk kegiatan konservasi dan pemuliaan padi hitam lokal, khususnya dalam pengembangan varietas dengan kombinasi sifat optimal yang tahan rebah dan efisien dalam proses fotosintesis. Kata kunci: Karakter morfologi, genotipe, seleksi Abstrack: Vegetative growth characteristics of rice plants are important early indicators in evaluating the potential of a genotype as a plant genetic resource. This study aimed to analyze the diversity of vegetative characteristics in nine local black rice genotypes, including plant height, stem diameter, number of tillers, and leaf length and width. Observations were conducted during the vegetative phase using a Randomized Block Design (RBD). The results showed that genotype differences significantly affected all observed vegetative parameters (p < 0.05). The Black Purwokerto genotype showed the highest plant height and number of tillers, while the Black Melik genotype had the largest stem diameter, and the Pari Ireng genotype showed the longest leaf length. These character variations reflect genetic differences and the potential adaptation of genotypes to the growing environment. The results of this study emphasize the importance of vegetative characteristics as a basis for selecting superior genotypes for conservation and breeding activities of local black rice, especially in developing varieties with optimal combinations of traits that are resistant to lodging and efficient in the process of photosynthesis. Abstract

Workshop penggunaan media sosial bagi siswa SMPN 1 Siman bertujuan meningkatkan minat dan keterampilan kewirausahaan e-commerce. Diikuti 150 siswa kelas 8 dan 9, kegiatan ini mencakup pelatihan pembuatan akun bisnis di Instagram dan TikTok serta pembuatan konten promosi menggunakan Canva. Evaluasi pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan hingga 32%. Sebanyak 90% siswa berhasil mempublikasikan konten yang menarik audiens. Perubahan penggunaan media sosial dari hiburan menjadi sarana produktif menandai dampak positif kegiatan ini. Program ini efektif menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan digital dan direkomendasikan untuk dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan serta pelatihan lanjutan.
