Abstract

The familiarity of social life between the Bugis and Tolaki communities in Samaturu District, Kolaka Regency covers various sectors of life, so that it affects the way of communication of the indigenous people, especially the Tolaki people, it causes a process of cultural acculturation in the form of the language used in the Tolaki people, therefore this needs to be visualized spatially and identify the factors that cause it. This study aims to provide a spatial visualization of Bugis language acculturation to the Tolaki community and the factors that cause the Tolaki community to be able to use Bugis language in communicating with Bugis community groups in Samaturu Sub-district, Kolaka Regency. The respondents of the study amounted to 339 Tolaki people spread across 14 villages in Samaturu District, Kolaka Regency. Data was collected using questionnaires and analyzed in a quantitative descriptive manner. The results of the study concluded that there are 10 villages where the Tolaki people are fluent in Bugis language and there are 4 villages where the Tolaki people are not fluent but still know the meaning of the Bugis language. In addition, there are three main factors that cause the Tolaki community group to be fluent in using the Bugis language, the three factors are social interaction/social contact, living environment, and marriage. Even so. The fluency of the Tolaki Tribe community in Samaturu District, Kolaka Regency in using the Bugis language does ot necessarily eliminate its own regional languange, this shows that the acculturation process does not touch all cultural elements but only element regional languages that are learnend and used in communication

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis permasalahan lingkungan yang terjadi di Desa Totobo, Kecamatan Pomalaa, Kabupaten Kolaka, khususnya akibat aktivitas pertambangan dan kurangnya pengelolaan sampah. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik dokumentasi dan wawancara terhadap warga setempat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dua permasalahan utama, yaitu pembuangan sampah sembarangan yang sebagian besar dilakukan oleh warga luar desa, serta banjir yang diakibatkan oleh sedimentasi material tambang nikel. Permasalahan ini menimbulkan dampak lingkungan seperti pencemaran, dan kerusakan lahan pertanian. Solusi yang ditawarkan meliputi edukasi masyarakat, penyediaan fasilitas pembuangan sampah, dan reboisasi kawasan hutan yang rusak akibat tambang. Dengan langkah-langkah ini, diharapkan kualitas lingkungan di Desa Totobo dapat meningkat secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Along with massive technological developments, the need for work support automatically becomes unavoidable. Artificial intelligence (AI) is here to answer this need, including in the world of education. In schools, teachers are faced with the problem of improving the quality of adaptive and inclusive learning. Of course, this quality improvement must be supported by learning devices and media that are interesting and appropriate to students' needs. However, making conventional learning tools will be very energy and time consuming, not to mention the limited resources available. Referring to this condition, this PKM activity was carried out with the aim of making learning tools more efficient through the use of AI. This is of course in line with the spirit of the vision of an independent curriculum, namely realizing education that is relevant and supported by technology. The target audience for this activity is high school geography teachers throughout Ternate City who are members of the Geography MGMP. This activity is held at SMAN 5 Ternate City. The use of a variety of AI-based Google service products will be introduced in this activity through a tutorial/practice method directly with the teacher. The stages in this PKM activity include preparation, implementation, evaluation, data analysis and reporting. The focus in this service activity is innovation and technology transfer to teachers in developing learning tools according to the demands of 21st century learning.

Abstract

Abstrak: Between April and May of 2024, this study was carried out at SMA Negeri 2 Gu. Finding out how the usage of animated video learning materials affects class X geography students' learning results is the aim of this study. A one-grub-post-experiment pre-experiment design was used to conduct the study. where 32 pupils in a single class make up the sample. The pretest and posttest, which both consisted of essay-style questions, provided the research data. There are two sections to the data analysis that was done. Using the t-test formula, the first phase of the data analysis is descriptive statistical analysis, followed by inferential statistical analysis.Descriptive statistics of the research from two samples, on the pretest and postest data, were presented in the first study's results. In the second trial, the average pretest score was 58.90, and the average posttest score was 85.93. It can be inferred that Ha was accepted and Ho was not rejected because the substantial difference between the pretest and posstest results was demonstrated by the significant result value of 0.00 ≤ 0.05. Consequently, it can be said that the utilization of animated video content affects the geography learning outcomes of class X students at SMA Negeri 2 Gu.

Abstract

Geographical inquiry is a pedagogical model that promotes active student engagement in the development of higher-order thinking skills. Through this approach, students are encouraged to participate in a series of activities including information gathering, investigation, data analysis, and the implementation of concrete actions, enabling them to formulate effective solutions to various environmental issues. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of implementing the geographical inquiry learning model on the cognitive skills of Geography Education students at FKIP USN Kolaka. The research method used a pre-experimental research design: a non-equivalent group design with posttest only. The research subjects were students of the Geography Education Study Program, FKIP USN Kolaka, in the 2024/2025 academic year, divided into two classes, namely the control class and experimental class. Data on students’ cognitive skills were obtained using cognitive domain test questions through a posttest. Data analysis techniques were performed using descriptive statistics and independet sample t-test. The analysis results show that the average score in the experimental class had higher learning outcomes, while the t-test analysis shows that the sig value (2-tailed) of 0.000 with a t-count of 6.43 is greater than t-tabel value of 2.042, the results of the test show that geographical inquiry learning has an influence on the cognitive skills of geography education students in the context of contemporary environmental issues and is significantly effective in improving the cognitif skills of students in the Geography Education Study Program at FKIP USN Kolaka.

Abstract

Education is a measure of student success, but the emergency that occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic affected many activities, one of which is the lecture process until now, the lecture process that previously used classical learning turned into non-classical ( distance learning) or known as online model. Ice breaking activity is an activity to dilute the learning atmosphere and increase student motivation, with ice breaking students who feel bored and overwhelmed by feelings of tension become more lively and interactive. The non-classical learning model used in this study is a problem solving collaborative learning model with treatment assignments for making learning material videos which are expected to make it easier to find knowledge in teaching materials. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of ice breaking and making video activities in non-classical learning models on the literacy skills of the Geography Education Study Program students of USN Kolaka. the results of the independent sample t-test, the information on the value of Sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is an effect of ice breaking and Making Video activities in non-classical learning models on students' literacy skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada peminatan mata pelajaran geografi kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Mawasangka. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Ex-post Facto yang bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Mawasangka yang berjumlah 150 siswa. Metode pengambilan data untuk variabel motivasi belajar menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala likert dan wawancara, sedangkan prestasi belajar menggunakan metode dokumentasi berupa nilai rapor siswa untuk mata pelajaran geografi. Hasi penelitian ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai T-hitung = 4,993. T-tabel = 1,655, jika dibandingkan keduanya T-hitung T-tabel. Dilihat dari nilai R square sebesar 0,144 dengan kriteria koefisien regresi tergolong rendah yang berarti motivasi belajar mempengaruhi prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran geografi di kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Mawasangka dengan nilai persentas sebesar 14,4% sedangkan sisa persentasinya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lainnya.

Abstract

Pengguna kendaraan di Indonesia semakin meningkat setiap tahunnya, hal ini menjadikan setiap ruas jalan raya macet karena tidak adanya sistem cerdas yang menghitung jumah kendaraan, baik yang masuk ataupun keluar jalan. Dengan adanya sistem cerdas ini memudahkan untuk menghitung kendaraan yang lewat dan dengan adanya sistem ini memudahkan para petugas di jalan raya untuk memantau kendaraan dan dapat di hitung sampai dengan ambang batas kendaraan sesuai dengan yang sudah melewati salah satu jalan. Hal ini memudahkan petugas di jalan raya untuk mengatur lalu lintas atau bisa mengurai kendaraan, sehingga pada satu titik jalan tersebut tidak akan macet dan bisa memakan waktu hingga lama.

Abstract

Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang semakin maju dan berkembang pesat saat ini memberikan dampak kepada dunia pendidikan. Para mahasiswa keguruan yang merupakan calon guru masa depan khususnya dibidang pembelajaran geografi perlu meningkatkan keterampilan menggunakan berbagai teknologi agar mampu menghasilkan pembelajaran efektif serta inovatif dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran, hanya saja masih banyak para calon guru yang belum cukup paham dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk pengembangan e-modul pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hal tersebut perlu adanya pelatihan bagi mahasiswa keguruan yang merupakan calon guru sebagai aktor utama pendidikan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan dalam menyusun e-modul pembelajaran menggunakan flip pdf profesional. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa pendidikan geografi USN Kolaka yang merupakan calon guru geografi dalam mengembangkan e-modul pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi flip pdf profesional. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan beberapa tahap yaitu observasi, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil pelatihan, para peserta menunjukkan respon yang positif hingga sangat positif terhadap efektivitas, kebermanfaatan, dan pemahaman peserta memahami fitur-fitur aplikasi flip pdf profesional dalam membuat e-modul pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran non-klasikal.

Abstract

Research aims: This study aims to develop a Hybrid Sustainability Performance Index integrating Maqasid al-Shariah principles with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) metrics for Islamic banks in Indonesia. Design/Methodology/Approach: The research employs Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM) and Fuzzy Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (FDEMATEL) methodologies to prioritize and clarify the complex relationships between various criteria. Research findings: The integration of Maqasid al-Shariah and ESG metrics enhances the sustainability performance of Islamic banks, increases accountability and transparency to stakeholders, and supports sustainable financial growth in Indonesia. Theoretical Contribution/Originality: This study contributes to the literature by providing a structured framework that combines Islamic ethical principles with contemporary sustainability metrics, addressing a notable gap in the performance measurement of Islamic banks. Practitioners/Policy Implications: The proposed index offers Islamic banks a practical tool to align their operations with both Maqasid al-Shariah and ESG metrics, facilitating informed strategic decisions and improved stakeholder engagement. Research Limitations/Implications: While the proposed index provides a comprehensive framework, its applicability may be limited by the availability and quality of data from Islamic banks, as well as variations in the interpretation of Maqasid al-Shariah across institutions. Future research could expand the model by incorporating longitudinal data or testing the index in different regulatory and geographical contexts to enhance its robustness and generalizability.
