Abstract

Rice stalls are one of the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) that have significantly contributed to efforts to improve the economy. This community service activity aims to increase the ability of SME rice stalls in Bogor to manage Good Food Production Methods (CPMB) to improve marketing performance. The results of the pre-test and post-test identification revealed three potential rice stalls. The evaluation results for the training activities showed that there were three possible rice stalls with the highest post-test results, namely the Pa de Umar rice stall (score 80.00), Kabita (score 73.33), and Selamat (score 70.00). Based on the three rice stalls above, selecting potential rice stalls for mentoring activities was carried out using the Bayes method, and the Pa de Umar Rice Stall was chosen with an alternative value of 4.40. Implementing the CPMB training is expected to increase the understanding and knowledge of Bogor City rice stall participants so that business actors can improve business performance and profits.

Abstract

Abstract

The production of Mocaf flour in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) is influenced by the effectiveness of cassava slicing machines in ensuring the availability of raw materials during the fermentation process. Slicing cassava is often problematic because the tools used are not of good quality, causing the cassava to crumble. This problem requires the identification of the effectiveness of cassava slicing machines in Mocaf flour production. The effectiveness of the cassava slicing machine can be measured using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method, and the values obtained are availability = 91%, Performance = 78%, Quality Yield = 0.99, and OEE = 0.71. The results of the selected forecasting, namely Double Moving Average with n = 2, MAPE = 4,54 %, show that the predicted production of cassava slices is 1428.57 kg. The OEE results and production forecasting then become the basis for developing the Sugeno fuzzy model to determine the amount of mocaf flour production in SMEs. The results of Sugeno fuzzy defuzzification with the OEE membership set production forecasting and triangular membership type showed that the mocaf flour production was 450 kg. Based on the production of mocaf flour of 450 kg, with a yield of 28%, the cassava raw material that must be ordered from the supplier is 1428,57 kg.

Abstract

Accumulation of egg stock in warehouses is currently the biggest problem of product loss due to damage to egg agents. This problem occurs partly because egg agents in Bogor cannot predict final inventory availability, so the number of egg orders exceeds storage capacity and is damaged due to being stored in the warehouse for too long. A prediction model for the final stock availability of eggs (crates) was developed. The prediction model for the final stock availability was based on the number of egg agents ordering from suppliers and the selling price of eggs using the Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS). The ANFIS model uses three variables: orders to suppliers, selling prices, and inventory, with 50 training data points and 30 testing data points, namely, orders to suppliers, selling prices, and inventory. Based on the results of training and testing data, it was found that the range of the Sugeno fuzzy model for the supplier order variable was 150 - 350 cases, and the selling price was IDR 24,000/kg - 29,500/kg with a fuzzy triangular membership set. The simulation results show testing and training data with epoch = 100 using fuzzy Sugeno, and the error value = 13.7. The results of the training model's determination test (R2) obtained a value of R² = 81.02%, and the testing model had a value of R² = 81.23%. The determination value (R²) above 80% indicate that the model is suitable for predicting the final stock amount for egg agents.

Abstract

This study addresses the problem of excess chicken egg inventory at agent warehouses caused by the mismatch between fluctuating demand and incoming supply, which frequently leads to product damage and financial losses. The research aims to design an inventory control policy based on demand forecasting and probabilistic inventory modelling to determine an ideal stock level. A quantitative approach is employed by first applying the two‑period Moving Average method, which produces an MSE of 6.17 and a MAPE of 0.10 with a forecast of 65 crates for the ninth period, and then integrating these forecasts into a probabilistic inventory model at a significance level of  to obtain a reorder point of 214 crates and a safety stock of 60 crates. The results show that this integrated approach enables the agent to trigger replenishment precisely when on‑hand inventory reaches the reorder point, thereby maintaining an adequate service level while reducing overstock and the risk of spoilage. The combined use of a quantitative forecasting model and a probabilistic inventory framework constitutes the main contribution of this study, offering an integrated decision support scheme for determining both the optimal order timing and the appropriate buffer stock level in a perishable‑goods context.

Abstract

Finished goods warehouse management plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth distribution process within manufacturing companies. This study aims to evaluate inventory management performance to address the phenomenon of overcapacity resulting from inventory buildup. The evaluation was conducted using the Supply Chain Operations Reference Digital Standard (SCOR DS) framework. Through a breakdown analysis, it was found that the strategic metric Cash-to-Cash Cycle Time had the lowest performance, caused by the critical value of the operational metric Inventory Days of Supply, which was 0.03978. This finding proves that the length of time goods remain in the warehouse due to the absence of a standardized inventory movement classification system is the main cause of overcapacity. The research recommendations focus on synchronizing capacity planning to reduce storage duration and optimize warehouse space utilization.
