Abstract

This research aims to optimize cassava production using fuzzy logic to enhance efficiency and productivity. Cassava is an important agricultural crop in Indonesia with great potential due to its ability to thrive in various types of soil and climates. Despite being considered a secondary food, cassava has numerous health benefits and serves as a good source of energy. However, crop failures and low yields hinder cassava production. Farmers can achieve optimal yields by maximizing output with minimal input costs. In addition to meeting market demand, pricing strategies are also crucial in determining the best products. Therefore, manufacturing companies need to plan the quantity of products to meet the expected demand. Factors such as product supply and demand need to be considered. It is challenging to monitor production elements when manual calculations are used. Hence, a method to accurately predict product availability is needed. The method used is fuzzy logic computation. We employ the Mamdani fuzzy logic method in this study. The outcome of this research is the ability to enhance cassava production yields based on Mamdani fuzzy logic calculations. The computations conducted enable farmers to determine production levels based on consumer demand.

Abstract

PT Arima is a company engaged in the production of bottled mineral water. The demand for bottled mineral water is experiencing fluctuations, with demand increasing at the end, so companies must carry out optimal production planning to avoid stock buildup. Production planning at PT Arima is carried out by identifying demand levels using quantitative forecasting methods, namely moving average (n = 3) and exponential smoothing (α = 0.05) to maintain optimal production levels and stock in the warehouse does not accumulate. The results of processing the level of forecasting accuracy using 12 months of demand data obtained using the moving average method showed that the production level = 39,733 boxes in January 2024. MAD = 3733.22; MSE = 21566024.78 and MAPE = 0.10. Based on the exponential smoothing method, the production level = 38,081 boxes in January 2024. MAD = 5773.50; MSE = 43466303 and MAPE = 0.15. Based on the results of comparing the MAPE values ​​of the two forecasting methods, the lowest MAPE value was obtained, namely the average method (n=3) of 0.10 with the production level of bottled mineral water to maintain optimal supply conditions in January 2024 of 39,733 boxes.

Abstract

Competition for the MSME rice stall business in the city of Bogor is currently very high where business actors are trying to increase consumer loyalty. The problem currently occurring in MSME rice stalls in Bogor City is a lack of knowledge regarding proper handling of food products. This problem means that MSME players only have a limited market share. In this PKM activity, evaluation and implementation of priority improvements are carried out using the Composite Performance Index (CPI). The CPI method uses four alternative options, namely improving service, improving serving facilities, improving food processing methods and improving production layout. The results of determining repair priorities using the CPI method showed that the repair process must be carried out at serving facilities with a value of 106.09. The priority results of this improvement are improvements to the display cases, serving areas and consumer dining tables.

Abstract

Permasalahan pasokan dan harga dalam rantai pasok telur ayam dimulai dari Agen telur dimana agen telur merupakan key aktor dalam proses distribusi produk sampai kekonsumen akhir. Pemilihan supplier yang dapat merealisasikan jumlah dan kualitas produk telur ayam menjadi permasalahan. Permasalahan pasokan yang tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan dipengaruhi oleh harga (Rp/peti), lead time pengiriman (hari), dan kapasitas distribusi (peti). Berdasarkan hasil analisis penentuan supplier ideal menggunakan model Composite Performance Index (CPI) didapatkan bobot tingkat kepentingan kriteria untuk harga adalah 0,4, lead time pengiriman adalah 0,3 dan kapasitas distribusi adalah 0,2. Berdasarkan hasil CPI didapatkan nilai alternatif supplier agam adalah 104,2; supplier hejo 113,46; supplier maju berkah 125 dan Supplier Mandiri adalah 95,28. Berdasarkan nilai CPI didapatkan supplier terpilih untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pasokan agen telur adalah supplier hejo dengan nilai CPI 113,46. Berdasarkan hasil analisis CPI maka supplier telur ayam yang memiliki kemampuan untuk pasokan sesuai dengan kebutuhan kualitas dan kuantitas telur ayam adalah supplier hejo.

Abstract

Increasingly tight competition in the industrial market encourages companies to optimize production planning to meet customer demand efficiently. Effective production planning is key in achieving this goal, as it guides entities towards achieving their goals appropriately. This research aims to develop a fuzzy method for production planning at PT XYZ, a lamp manufacturing company. This method is designed to assist PT XYZ The approach used in this research includes historical data analysis, forecasting techniques using the time series method, calculating raw material inventory, and applying fuzzy logic to determine optimal production quantities. Based on the results of fuzzy calculations, the production amount for the next period of 7,000 product units can be a suggestion for companies to avoid production shortages and excesses due to uncertainty in product demand.

Abstract

Permasalahan kemamanan di perumahan saat ini memerlukan pengelolaan sistem yang terintegrasi antara seluruh warga, pihak keamanan dan aparatur desa. Kejahatan sering kali masuk ke permukiman warga di wilayah desa dalam bentuk pencurian atau perampokan yang menimbulkan korban dan tidak dapat diatasi dengan sistem keamanan tradisional. Kondisi ini disebabkan karena tidak adanya sistem komunikasi yang cepat dan efektif antar warga untuk segera berkumpul berbasis smartphone sehingga penanganan kejahatan menjadi terlambat. Berdasarkan permasalahan ini maka dikembangkan aplikasi komunikasi cerdas berbasis smartphone yang terhubung dengan pengeras suara secara real time untuk memberikan informasi masalah keamanan sehingga warga dapat segera berkumpul di lokasi. Pengabdian ini menggunakan dua tahapan yaitu tahap pelatihan pembuatan alat komunikasi cerdas dan pelatihan implementasi alat komunikasi cerdas berdasarkan lokasi ideal sehingga warga dengan mudah mendapatkan informasi. Hasil evaluasi menggunakan rank spearman berdasarkan pre-test dan post-test didapatkan kegiatan ini memiliki kolerasi terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan peserta terhadap fungsi dan cara membuat modul alat komunikasi cerdas yang terintegrasi dengan aplikasi smartphone dengan nilai korelasi 80%. Berdasarkan analsis bayes lokasi alat komunikasi cerdas diimplementasikan disalah satu rumah warga sehingga informasi keamanan dapat ditermia dengan cepat oleh seluruh warga desa dengan nilai alternatif 4,2

Abstract

The availability of cassava raw materials influences tapioca flour production at small and medium industry's (SMIs) Bogor Regency. Cassava raw material is a crucial factor in producing cassava yields, affecting the amount of tapioca flour production. Planning for cassava raw material must be carried out properly because the quality and quantity of cassava must be maintained to achieve the tapioca flour production target. The results of forecasting the demand for tapioca flour in SMIs using the Multiplicative Decomposition method were 2566 kg with MAD = 173.73 and MAPE = 0.08. Based on the analysis of the effectiveness of the grinding machine, the average value of OEE for one year is 0.32 (32%). Based on the value of demand forecasting results, milling machine OEE and tapioca flour prices, an analysis of cassava raw material needs are carried out using a fuzzy logic approach. The membership set used is Triangular and Trapezoidal Membership Function and Fuzzy Rule Base as many as 81 possibilities. The defuzzification of cassava raw material requirements in SMIs is 17600 kg. Based on the results of defuzzification, the need for raw materials must be increased so that the demand for tapioca flour can be achieved.

Abstract

Tempe supply chain is managing the distribution flow of production until it reaches consumers. The distribution flow must be arranged and managed effectively and efficiently to increase the company's productivity and minimize costs. Method is used in this research are Saving Matrix for optimizing route and Break Even Point (BEP) for evaluating the mode Transportation. The research results show that selected route to consumers is obtained via the G-C1-C2-C5-C6-C3-C4-G route with an optimal capacity of 1500 boxes. Meanwhile, an evaluation of the transportation modes owned shows that the company can leaseif the average delivery in one year is below 1000 boxes and has its own mode if deliveries are above 1000 boxes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis EOQ dalam persediaan produk roti di Toko Roti XYZ pada tahun 2021, 2022, dan 2023. Data yang digunakan merupakan data kuantitaif. Metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Untuk mengetahui pengelolaan persediaan produk roti isi cokelat, penelitian ini menggunakan analisis dengan metode EOQ, ROP, safety stock, dan total biaya persediaan untuk mengetahui keefektifan dalam mengoptimalkan biaya. Perhitungan Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) untuk mengetahui kuantitas persediaan yang optimal, perhitungan Re-Order Point (ROP) untuk mempersiapkan persediaan bahan baku untuk mencegah kehabisan stok, safety stock untuk mempertahankan stok dalam waktu periode tertentu bertujuan memenuhi permintaan yang berfluktuasi optimal dan total biaya persediaan bertujuan untuk menunjukkan bahwa dengan jumlah pembelian bahan baku yang optimal akan menghasilkan biaya total persediaan yang minimal. Hasil analisis ini menunjukkan kuantitas pemesanan persediaan pada Toko Roti XYZ sebanyak 579 unit pada tahun 2021, 551 unit pada tahun 2022, dan 640 unit pada tahun 2023. Analisis ROP bertujuan mengetahui titik pemesanan kembali dengan jumlah persediaan minimum yang harus tersedia dengan hasil sebanyak 131,12 unit pada tahun 2021, 125,04 unit pada tahun 2022, dan 145,07 unit pada tahun 2023. Dan yang terakhir analisis safety stock untuk menghitung persediaan cadangan yang harus disimpan sebanyak 46,34 unit pada tahun 2021, 44,13 unit pada tahun 2022, dan 51,26 unit pada tahun 2023. Adanya perhitungan ini bermanfaat untuk membantu Toko Roti XYZ dalam analisis pengelolaan persediaan produk sehingga keseimbangan antara biaya dan persediaan.

Abstract

This study aimed to present a Fuzzy logic approach in determining the value of OEE Superflex machine for producing nuggets. The effectiveness value of Superflex machine in producing nugget raw materials was determined by calculating the Availability, Performance and Quality Yield values. Fuzzy approach in determining the value of OEE can be used because this approach is able to describe the value of the effectiveness of thr machines based on the condition of the company's actual capacities. The Fuzzy OEE approach uses the Trapezoidal Membership Association because the maximum value of the membership degree has more than one value in each parameter. The Fuzzy OEE value shows that Superflex machine had an OEE value with bad parameters so that the company has to improve its machine performance
