Abstract

Trafo Trainer 1 Phase merupakan alat pembelajaran yang dirancang untuk memahami prinsip dasar transformator satu fasa (1 phase). Alat ini digunakan dalam pendidikan teknik elektro universitas pamulang untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai transformator, termasuk proses transformator tegangan dan arus pada sistem listrik. Trafo Trainer terdiri dari komponen utama seperti lilitan primer dan sekunder, inti besi, serta pengukur tegangan dan arus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja transformator 1 phase yang di implementasikan pada trainer, meliputi efisiensi transformasi energi, pengaruh beban. Pengujian dilakukan dengan berbagai variasi tegangan masukan dan beban yang terhubung pada keluaran transformator. Hasil pengujian tergantung pemakaian entah itu Step Up atau Step Down menunjukkan bahwa kinerja transformator dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor seperti resistansi lilitan dan fluks bocor pada inti besi. Meskipun demikian, trafo trainer 1 phase ini cukup efektif sebagai alat bantu pengajaran, karena mampu merepresentasikan karakteristik dasar transformator dengan baik. Hasil dari rancangan transformator 1 phase didapatkan data tegangan beban dengan lampu dan motor listrik 1 phase di tengangan maksimal 223.6 V, arus maksimal 6 A, dan daya maksimal 305 Watt.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship in free-range chicken meat is promising for business an entrepreneur. With a high level of interest in meat, you can make a profit. The problem experienced by chicken farmers is that the condition of the chicken eggs that hatch deeply is not seen continuously due to the large number of them, and the lack of attention to temperature when the eggs are hatched. The solution used is to make egg incubator equipment and record the results of hatching eggs, thereby reducing the failure hatching failure rate and the chickens' safety hatch. The use of the method is to analyze the comparison of natural hatching of eggs from hens by comparing the hatching of eggs using incubator equipment. The use of equipment in the incubator includes NodeMCU ESP 8266 as a processor, Current Sensors, Ultrasonic sensors, and lamps as incubator heaters. The aim of the research is to maintain the stability and hatching time of the eggs. Besides that, it can help human performance by recording the time of hatching eggs so there is no loss. This research produced incubator equipment equipped with an IoT system with adjustable temperatures ranging from 380C to 400C using two lamps as heaters and fans as coolers. The average time needed by the heater to raise the temperature from 380C to 40oC is 55 seconds. Tool equipment, namely there is a notification using an ultrasonic sensor that functions as a Buzzer switch when there are chicks in it.

Abstract

An abstract The performance of an Air Conditioner can be influenced by the refrigerant charge. The problem arising from this is a decrease in the performance of the unit being used. The method used is to vary the refrigerant pressure value to obtain an appropriate value for the space in use. The aim of the research is to determine the recommended type of refrigerant and pressure for the split AC inside the room, achieve electrical energy consumption efficiency, and attain maximum room cooling. This research also assists in providing practical guidance for owners of conventional Split Air Conditioners and technicians in maintaining the optimal performance of their systems. The results of the research indicate that the highest temperature for the R22 type is at 26˚C and for R410A at 25˚C in a 3 x 3-meter room. The measured current value for R22 is 2.6 Ampere and for R410, it is 2.2 Ampere, with the voltage for R22 at 222 V and R410A at 221 V.

Abstract

The problem with transformers, especially those used in the supply of electrical power supply to high-rise buildings, is in the output voltage of the distribution transformer. Lifetime and continuous use cause a decrease in performance and transformer performance in supplying usage loads. There needs to be a solution to the transformer performance problem in order to save transformer efficiency costs on the use of electrical power against the load used. The research method used is to purify the transformer so that the transformer performance remains stable in supplying the load. The step in purification is to take measurements before and after at the transformer terminals to LVMDP. The result obtained is a voltage drop of 39% but still within the range of >30 kV, with an average load of 1145A. The average 3phase voltage after data purification is 405 Volts, after a purification period of 2 operational years it drops to 402 Volts. As for the 1phase voltage, data is obtained after purification of 235 Volts down to 231 Volts. The temperatur of the HV 400C transformer has increased to 44,80C.

Abstract

Dampak perubahan suhu membuat masyarakat indonesia mencari alternatif pendingin ruangan. Salah satu bentuk inovasi dengan menggunakan thermoelectric. Tujuan inovasi thermoelectric ini diharapkan mampu mengurangi penggunaan energi listrik serta mengurangi dampak pemanasan global. Dengan melakukan perancangan serta pengujian dengan dampak nilai arus terhadap perubahan suhu. Hasil menunjukan penggunaan 4 thermoelectric lebih sedikit menggunakan energi dengan arus terbesarnya adalah 13 A dibandingkan 8 thermoelectric dengan arus terbesarnya 27 A. Tetapi penurunan suhu yang lebih bagus adalah 8 thermoelectric dengan -4,50C sedangkan 4 thermoelectric hanya 10C. Penggunaan sistem terhadap ruangan mendapatkan adanya perubahan suhu menjadi lebih rendah. Hasil perancangan ini dapat digunakan dengan efisiensi yang rendah mengingat tingginya penggunaan energinya. Perancangan ini dapat dikembangkan dengan melakukan modifikasi.

Abstract

Stable temperature regulation is essential in various industries to maintain product quality and energy efficiency. This study analyzed the water temperature regulation system using PID control through MATLAB simulation and the actual implementation using Thermocontrol and PT100 sensors. In the simulation, the PID control parameters used were Kp = 3.0, Ki = 240, and Kd = 60, while the tuning results in the actual implementation were Kp = 3.0, Ki = 0.5, and Kd = 1.2. The simulation results showed that the system could reach the setpoint faster (±330 seconds), but with a high overshoot (±20.8°C). In contrast, the actual implementation shows more stable performance, with a much lower overshoot (±0.8°C) and a time to the setpoint of about ±345 seconds. These differences in performance can be influenced by environmental factors and the physical characteristics of real systems that are not fully reflected in the simulation. Although the simulation provides faster results, the actual implementation is more adaptive to changing conditions and better able to maintain temperature stability. This research can provide important insights into the development of more effective and reliable temperature control systems for industrial applications, as well as demonstrate the importance of proper tuning in PID control systems to achieve optimal performance.

Abstract

Latar belakang dalam tugas akhir ini adalah mengenai penggunaan energi listrik dalam sekala besar terkadang menjumpai beberapa macam masalah. Permasalah tersebut diantaranya seperti adanya penurunan tegangan pada sistem kelistrikan dan rugi-rugi pada jaringan. Banyaknya beban bersifat induktif akan membutuhkan daya reaktif yang sama besarnya. Tujuan tugas akhir ini guna mengetahui pengaruh dari pemasangan atau penggunaan kapasitor bank terhadap faktor daya saat ini, lalu membandingkannya dengan faktor daya standar (0,85) Metodologi dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode perhitungan segitiga daya, metode tersebut daya reaktif pertama sebelum kompensasi dihitung dengan cos φ1 sedangkan daya reaktif terakhir menggunakan cos φ2. Hasil dari pelaksanaan penelitian dan perhitungan ini mendapatkan nilai rata-rata faktor daya sebesar 0,98 yang dipengaruhi beban terpasang menghasilkan arus sebesar 601,6 A dan membandingkan dengan nilai faktor daya standar 0,85 dengan penggunaan beban yang sama menghasilkan arus sebesar 692,6 A efesiensi arus yang didapat sebesar 91 A. Lalu kompensasi daya reaktif yang dihasilkan dari perbandingan faktor daya tersebut sebesar 88,5 kVAR dengan nilai kapasitor sebesar 52,8 microFarad.Keyword: Energi listrik, Rugi jaringan, Faktor daya, kapasitor bank

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the insulation resistance value of a 555 WP monocrystalline solar module under the influence of solar irradiation through outdoor testing and insulation assessment. The primary focus is to understand the impact of solar exposure on insulation durability, a crucial factor in the long-term performance and safety of solar modules. The testing method follows the SNI/IEC 61215 standard, involving initial and final measurements using a calibrated insulation tester at the Energy Conversion Laboratory, BRIN. The results indicate a 19.54% degradation in insulation resistance after 15 days of solar exposure. Despite this decline, the module still meets the IEC 61215 criteria for insulation resistance, maintaining a resistance value above 40 MΩ for a module with a surface area of 2.583 m². A comparison of initial and final data reveals a decrease in resistance from 3.470 GΩ in the initial test to 2.792 GΩ in the final test. This reduction underscores the importance of paying closer attention to maintenance and routine testing to ensure the module's long-term reliability. This study provides new empirical evidence on the dynamics of short-term insulation degradation under tropical solar conditions, a topic that has been rarely quantified in field-based PV reliability research. In addition, this study makes significant contributions to the development of industry standards that aim to enhance the reliability of solar modules and manage renewable energy systems.
