Abstract

Organic potassium fertilizer and liquid organic fertilizer are an alternative to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers in peanut cultivation. This research aims to determine the dose of organic potassium, the dose of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) from cow urine on the growth and production of peanuts. This research was structured using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 2 treatments, namely doses of organic potassium and cow urine liquid organic fertilizer (LOF). The parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of leaf stalks (stalk), seed weight per 1000 (g), number of pods (fruit), fresh weight (g), and dry weight (g). The results of the study showed that treatment with doses of organic potassium and cow urine LOF had no significant effect on the growth and production of peanuts. The best organic potassium dose for growth and production is organic potassium equivalent to a KCl dose of 75 kg ha-1. The best dose of cow urine LOF is 75 ml L-1.

Abstract

Desa Bulucindea merupakan desa yang potensial pengembangan garam di Kabupaten Pangkep. Produksi garam telah menggunakan paket teknologi geomemran yang menghasilkan garam berkualitas, namun yang menjadi kendala kemasan yang digunakan masih tergolong sederhana dan menggunakan sistem tradisional sehingga diperlukan tindakan penyuluhan untuk mengedukasi pelaku UMKM garam menggunakan kemasan yang aman dan estetik sebagai bentuk dari strategi pemasaran dan upaya desa ini, menggerakan ekonomi rakyat dengan memasarkan garam secara nasional dan luar negeri (secara online) dengan memberikan perbaikan pada bentuk dan bahan kemasan serta pelabelan sebagai identitas produk garam yang dihasilkan oleh Desa Bulucindea untuk dipasarkan bagi skala rumah tangga dan industri.

Abstract

The active role of residents in managing household waste is very important, especially in reducing the amount of waste piled up. It can be said that the waste problem in the Bulu Cindea Village environment is that residents are not yet able to manage organic and non-organic waste properly. If it continues, it will cause environmental pollution and harm people's health. Therefore, this outreach activity was carried out so that the residents of Bulu Cindea village could understand the importance of household waste management. In this activity, outreach is carried out to increase public awareness in managing organic and non-organic household waste independently and can be carried out well. This waste management will be felt to be effective because it will directly and actively involve village residents. From the results of community outreach in Bulu Cindea village, the community began to manage household organic and non-organic waste independently, was able to improve the waste management system, was able to reduce piles of rubbish which could cause various diseases and the environment around where they lived became cleaner, more comfortable and Healthy.

Abstract

Nutrients are the main component in a hydroponic system. Liquid organic fertilizer has the potential to be a source of hydroponic nutrition because it can be made from agricultural waste through a fermentation process using local microorganisms. The aim of the research is to analyze articles that use the theme of liquid organic fertilizer and describe various topics that are relevant and have novelties to be developed in future research. The bibiometric analysis used in the research used the 2019-2023 literature. The data collection method uses dimensions with the keyword "liquid organic fertilizer" to obtain 500 papers published in 2019-2023. The data was sorted into 300 articles for further analysis with the help of VOSviewer 1.6.19_Mac software. The research results show that the theme of liquid organic fertilizer implemented in scientific articles has become a serious concern and has had high interest value for researchers over the last 4 years. Several new topics that need to be studied further to support the development of liquid organic fertilizer as nutrition in hydroponic systems to support sustainable agriculture include: local microorganisms (mol), biostimulants, cocopeat, chicken manure. Elsevier is a publisher in the main ranking which publishes articles and is widely cited. Keywords with different topics are needed to analyze articles to get new ideas and innovations in developing knowledge and technology that supports sustainable agriculture.

Abstract

School gardens can be used as a source of student learning for various subjects in an integrated manner to improve student’ academic, personal, awareness, and social abilities. By implementing gardening activities students are trained to design, build and develop agricultural hustles at school through cultivating and harvesting the plants that may be consumed and added economic value. The service activity aims to utilize the school garden as a medium for learning natural science and social Science at the Indonesian school of the Hague. Methods of implementing activities consist of preparing materials tools, preparing seeds, clearing land, planting, caring for plants, observing the students’ behavior toward school gardens, and evaluating students’ understanding of school subject matter based on learning resources in the school garden. Based on students’ responses in answering questions related to science material and social science impacts, it shows that both science and social science learning activities in school gardens may assist in an in-depth understanding of the concept of agriculture skills and behaviors of the students.

Abstract

Benih aren memiliki masa dormansi lama sehingga perlu upaya untuk mempercepat perkecambahan benih aren, salah satunya dengan menggunakan cendawan endofit. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui isolate cendawan endofit dan metode aplikasi cendawan endopit pada benih yang dapat mempercepat pekecabahan benih aren. Percobaan ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok pola factorial yang terdiri atas dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah jenis isolate cendawan endoift yaitu: Isolat cendawan endofit 1 (E1) Isolat cendawawan Endofit 4 (E2) dan Isolat cendawan endofit 6 (E3) dan tanpa aplikasi cendawan endofit. Faktor kedua adalah metode aplikasi cendawan endofit pada benih aren yaitu; metode penyelubungan (M1) dan Perenedaman (M2). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa isolat cendawan endofit 1 dengan metode aplikasi perendaman menghasilkan persentase perkecambahan dan panjang hipokotil terbaik dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya. Aplikasi cendawan endofit pada benih sebaiknya menggunakan metode perendaman.

Abstract

AB mix is an nutrient that is commonly used for hydroponic system, but the price is expensive so it requires an alternatve to using liquid organic fertilizer. Thies research aims to determine the potential of organic fertilizer as a nutrient for the growth of kale, pakchoy and lecttuce in a wick hydroponic system. Thies research was prepared using aspilt plot design (SPD) with the main plot consisting of AB Mix 5 ml/liter (N1), liquid organic fertililizer cow urine  40 ml/liter (N2), liquid organic fertililizer cow urine  80 ml/liter (N3). The subplots consist of kale (T1), pakchoy (T2), and lettuce (T3). The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, root length, plant fresh weight. The results of this research show that the nutrients from liquid organic fertilizer from cow unire and AB mix have no significant effect on the growth of kale, pakchoy and lettuce in the drip hydroponic system. A dose of liquid organic fertilizer from cow urine of 80 ml/liter gave the best average results on plant height, number of leaves and fresh wight of kale, pakchoy and lettuce, but the results obtained were lower when compared with the application of AB mix. The dosage of cow urine liquid organic fertilizwer still needs to be increased to produce the best plant growth and production in the drip hydroponic system

Abstract

This research focused on the implementation of curriculum 2013 in English subject at SMA Negeri in Ternate. In Ternate, curriculum 2013 has implemented. Such as some senior high school that the researcher took as samples in this research. This research used qualitative approach with descriptive method. The population of this research are 12 SMA in Ternate. And the samples of this research are 3 (three) of 12 SMA in Ternate. The data collection used in this research are: observation, quetionaire, and documentation. To analyze the data, the researcher used reduction data, presentation data, and verification data. The implementation of K 13 in English subject in school A and C Ternate can be neglected because the K 13 is not implemented. The implementation of K 13 in English subject in school B Ternate is implemented. The learning process of English based on lesson plan. From 9 items of main activities based on lesson plan there were 8 activities implemented and only one activity didn’t implemented it was basic competence and indicator. Hereby the researchers take conclusion that the implementation of K13 in English subject in school B is good.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the effect of homophone game towards the students’ pronunciation improvement. Designed as a classroom action research, this study took place in the state junior high school 5 of Tidore archipelago. The researcher involved 20 students as the participants of the research. Through two cycles, the analysis of the data indicated that homophone game could improve the students’ pronunciation.

Abstract

This research is conducted to find out the students’ speaking skills by using the cooperative learning method through think pair share (TPS). Based on the observation and interview conducted by the researcher to SMK NEGERI 4 Halmahera Tengah, some problems were still found in the students’ abilities in English, especially in speaking. The students’ speaking skills were relatively low. They had difficulties in expressing ideas opinions orally as they were afraid of making mistakes and not confident to speak English. They still had difficulties in pronouncing certain English words. To be able to speak, instead of pronunciation, the richness of vocabulary was also important. In this research, the researcher uses classroom action research ( CAR ). The Setting was SMK N 4 Halmahera Tengah and the subjects were all students of class XI of SMK N 4 Halmahera Tengah in the academic year 2018/ 2019 with a total of 20 students. Based on the results of the students' speaking skills in the first cycle showed that out of 20 students of class XI SMK N 4 Halmahera Tengah. just 7 students were passed KKM while 13 students were not passed KKM. So in the first cycle was unsuccessful and the researcher has to continue for the next cycle. The result of the second cycle showed that 15 of 20 students of SMK N 4 Halmahera Tengah class XI are able to pass the KKM or in other words, they can achieve their speaking in the second cycle, while 5 were not achieved the KKM value ( ≥ 75 ). It can be concluded that the cooperative learning process through think pair share ( TPS ) can improve students’ speaking skills at SMK N 4 Halmahera Tengah.
