Abstract

COVID19 pandemic has significantly changed the world and human's normal life into a new normal life. World Health Organization had recommended early in the pandemic for the people to wear a face mask, keep a distance at a minimum of 1 meter between individuals and practice frequent handwashing with soap. Compliance with health protocols in the COVID-19 pandemic may be influenced by external factors and internal factors i.e., individual perception, knowledge, attitude, beliefs and intentions. This study aimed to compare Milgram's compliance theory and HBM concerning the community’s compliance to the health protocols of COVID-19 prevention. An online survey for a cross-sectional study had been conducted among the community in East Java province in 2020 which had obtained a total of   350 respondents. The results showed some internal factors in Milgram Theory such as region status, personal responsibility, support between communities, and relationship of heads of villages with the community had significantly influenced compliance to health protocols. Meanwhile, internal factors in HBM Theory which include perceived benefits, perceived barriers, self-efficacy, and cues to action had also a significant influence on the community’s compliance with health protocols. The internal factors in HBM Theory were more influential on the community's compliance compared to the external factors in Milgram Theory. Based on this, the government and other related parties who are responsible for improving community awareness and understanding on the need to comply with health protocols could apply the internal factors as stipulated in the HBM. The community awareness on the internal factors could also be a success factor in declining the case fatality rate (CFR) from Covid 19 infection.

Abstract

Introduction: The government ratifies and establishes the Healthcare and Social Security Agency that manages health insurance for all people in Indonesia. However, this agency, through the National Health Insurance program, can still not pay all claims submitted by hospitals. Several claims were rejected because the claimant did not meet the requirements for the benefits covered. This research analyzes national health insurance claims' constraints to reduce unworthy claims at Undata Hospital, Central Sulawesi Province. Method: This research is a Constraint Analysis with an analytical observational method and a cross-sectional approach where the researcher wants to identify constraints in each BPJS claim flow process, which consists of verification, data coding process, and file entry process at the National Health Insurance Unit of Undata Hospital, Central Sulawesi Province. This research was conducted from November 2020 to September 2021. There were 17 subjects in this study. Sampling using a purposive sampling technique. Results: The cause of the constraint in the BPJS Health verification claim process at Undata Hospital is that the health service verification process was not carried out before being it to Agency. The cause of the constraint in coding BPJS Health claim files at Undata Hospital is that, based on knowledge constraints, it is known that there is no training for coders regarding the coding process. Conclusion: Implementing the BPJS Health claim procedure at Undata Regional Hospital, Central Sulawesi Province, still needs improvement because the existing SOP still lacks a detailed explanation of the stages of the existing claim procedure. Keywords: Constraints, Health Guarantee, Claims

Abstract

The impact of providing nutrition education on the nutritional knowledge of young athletes in IndonesiaBackground: A lack of nutritional knowledge can lead to poor eating habits and nutritional deficiencies in young athletes. One of the issues leading to athletes' need for more knowledge is the absence of professional assistance in educating them about nutrition. Objective: This research was analyzed to investigate the impact of nutrition education through counseling and group-based nutrition education on the nutritional knowledge of young athletes in Indonesia. Methods: This study is a pre-and post-experimental study without control. One hundred eighty-five young athletes who trained in PPLP and SKO received nutrition intervention for two months, including three nutrition education sessions using sports nutrition module media, nutritional counseling, and eating assistance based on eating etiquette. A modified Abridged Nutrition for Sport Knowledge Questionnaire (ANSKQ) questionnaire assessed athletes' nutritional knowledge before and after the intervention. Data was examined by comparing scores before and after the intervention. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used in the normality test, and a paired t-test was used to compare nutritional knowledge before and after the intervention. Results: Before the intervention, 88.65% had a low level of knowledge about nutrition. The scores for sports nutrition and overall nutritional knowledge increased significantly (p<0.05). The scores of general nutrition knowledge increased but were not significant (p>0.05). Conclusions: There was a significant increase in sports nutrition knowledge but not general nutrition knowledge. The provision of nutritional education assisted by nutritionists impacts athletes' nutritional knowledge.

Abstract

Globalization brought changes to traditional governance from paper-based administration to electronic governance services (e-government). The Surabaya City Government through the implementation of e-government formed e-health services to improve health services. The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of e-health services in health services at the Surabaya City Health Centers. The method of this research used a literature review study. The Publish on Perish application was used in Google Scholar searches with the keywords "implementation of E-health services", "E-health", "community health centers", and "implementation of E-health in the city of Surabaya" for the period 2016-2023 and on the https://app.covidence.org page to conduct screening so that 13 articles relevant to the topic were obtained. The implementation of e-health services had been implemented and some people and health workers felt the benefits, such as reducing queue volume, shortening patient waiting time, making it easier for patients to receive referral services, and being able to improve the performance of health center staff. However, there were still obstacles, including people who stuttered related to the use of technology, system errors, lights off, no helpdesk feature, patients did not cancel registration when they did not go to the health center, and patients who chose the wrong health centers. Based on this, the researcher concluded that the implementation of e-health had not been carried out properly and was not evenly distributed in all Surabaya City health centers.

Abstract

Education already become a basic human right since they were born. But geographical condition differentiates the level of education quality they get. Especially in most development countries with low implementation of ICT (Information, Communication, and Technology). In this digital era, it is hard to achieve an effective and efficient learning environment in rural areas. Infrastructures and teaching tools in those areas are very humble. Few books can be read. With limited educational background, social-economy issues will always keep remain. Love Borneo is an organic community that want to make a change for children in rural villages in West Kalimantan. They build a facility called Rumah Baca that provide good quality books suitable for children. They collect donated books and some money to buy books and educational games for children. Since 2015, they already build 10 Rumah Baca. But there are still so many villages that need this kind of facility. To build awareness about education for children in rural villages, this article discusses the development of a dedicated website called www.loveborneo.org that provides up to date information about this community and their activities. People around the world can access this website and can officially support this community. www.loveborneo.org is only one example of ICT implementation to help rural citizens.
