Abstract

The use of the Kopana Top Gas Brand Gas Regulator makes cooking easier for consumers, alleviating concerns about safety. This, in turn, reduces the risk of unexpected accidents such as fires resulting from gas leaks or gas cylinders losing gas due to loose regulator installation. Not all products offer a safety guarantee, leaving consumers unaware of potentially significant risks. This lack of awareness can make it challenging for consumers to distinguish between products that provide genuine benefits and those that may be less reliable. Therefore, the aim of this research is to examine the impact of the Brand Awareness variable, Brand Trust, and promotional activities on the purchasing decisions regarding the Kopana Top Gas Brand Gas Regulator. The study employed a questionnaire distribution method with 60 respondents selected randomly from a population of 150 potential respondents. Data analysis was conducted using the SPSS version 26 program, involving three testing stages: instrument validation, classical assumption testing, and hypothesis testing. The findings indicate that the variables brand awareness, brand trust, and promotion collectively influence the purchasing decision of the kopana top gas brand gas regulator. specifically, brand trust emerges as the most influential factor in shaping purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Digital financial applications have become essential tools for transaction management, savings, payments, and investment activities, particularly among millennials who represent the highest adoption segment in the digital economy. This study examines the influence of financial literacy and income on digital financial application usage behavior among millennials. A quantitative explanatory design was employed, and data were collected from active users of digital financial platforms, including mobile banking, e-wallets, and online investment services. The dataset was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM–PLS) to assess both the measurement and structural components of the model. The measurement model exhibited strong reliability and validity, supported by high factor loadings, Composite Reliability values exceeding 0.89, and Average Variance Extracted (AVE) values above 0.73. Discriminant validity was confirmed through the Fornell–Larcker criterion and HTMT analysis. The structural model revealed that financial literacy significantly influences digital financial behavior (β = 0.389, t = 6.214, p < 0.001), emphasizing the role of knowledge, attitudes, and financial management capability in shaping responsible digital financial engagement. Income also demonstrated a significant positive effect (β = 0.334, t = 5.102, p < 0.001), indicating that greater economic capacity supports broader and more advanced use of digital financial tools. The model’s R² value of 0.472 indicates moderate predictive power, while a Q² value of 0.311 confirms strong predictive relevance. These findings underscore the importance of both cognitive and economic factors in cultivating safe, inclusive, and sustainable digital financial behavior among millennials.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of financial planning and self-control on consumptive behavior among Generation Z users of e-commerce platforms in Indonesia. The increasing intensity of online shopping, supported by digital payments, promotional strategies, and platform convenience, has encouraged impulsive and excessive purchasing patterns among young consumers. Using a quantitative explanatory approach, data were collected from 150 Indonesian Generation Z respondents aged 17–27 who had made at least one e-commerce purchase within the last six months. The research instrument employed a five-point Likert scale to measure financial planning, self-control, and consumptive behavior. Prior to hypothesis testing, the instrument was evaluated through validity and reliability tests, and the regression model was assessed using classical assumption tests, including normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. Multiple linear regression analysis was applied to examine the partial and simultaneous effects of financial planning and self-control on consumptive behavior. The results indicate that financial planning has a negative and significant effect on consumptive behavior, suggesting that individuals who plan budgets, allocate expenditures, and set financial priorities are less likely to engage in unplanned online purchases. Self-control also shows a negative and significant effect, with a stronger influence, highlighting the importance of impulse regulation and resistance to promotional triggers in digital marketplaces. The F-test confirms that financial planning and self-control simultaneously affect consumptive behavior, supporting the proposed research model. The coefficient of determination shows that the model explains a substantial proportion of the variance in consumptive behavior, while the remaining variance may be attributed to factors such as lifestyle, social influence, and platform-driven stimuli. This study contributes to the understanding of Gen Z consumption in Indonesia and provides practical implications for financial education and behavioral interventions to promote responsible e-commerce spending.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial management accountability of a non-profit organization, particularly Masjid Raya Taqwa Muhammadiyah in Medan, based on the standards outlined in PSAK No. 45. As a non-profit entity, a mosque is obligated to prepare financial statements that are transparent and accountable to maintain public trust, especially from donors. However, the financial reporting practices observed at the mosque remain relatively simple and do not yet comply with PSAK No. 45, which includes the statement of financial position, statement of activities, statement of cash flows, and notes to the financial statements. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews with mosque administrators, and documentation of financial records. The study found that the mosque management has shown an effort toward transparency by publicly announcing financial updates to the congregation on a weekly basis. Despite this, financial management practices still fall short of fulfilling both vertical and horizontal accountability as prescribed by PSAK No. 45. The results indicate a need for improved understanding and implementation of non-profit financial reporting standards. Enhancing the capacity of mosque administrators in applying PSAK No. 45 is essential to ensure more systematic, informative, and accountable financial reporting.
