Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem informasi tracer study di SMKN 1 Tanjung Raya menggunakan framework Laravel dan PHP, serta menerapkan metodologi pengembangan waterfall dengan pendekatan UML (Unified Modeling Language). Sistem ini bertujuan untuk memantau perkembangan karir lulusan dengan efektif, mengintegrasikan fitur-fitur penting seperti login pengguna, pengisian kuesioner oleh lulusan, manajemen data lulusan, dan pelaporan statistik. Metodologi pengembangan waterfall digunakan untuk mengatur proses pengembangan sistem secara terstruktur, sementara UML digunakan untuk merancang dan menggambarkan model sistem secara visual. Hasil dari penelitian ini menghasilkan sistem informasi alumni untuk mempermudah tracer study alumni di SMKN 1 Tanjung Raya.Kata kunci : Tracer Study, Kuisioner, Sistem Informasi. This research aims to design and develop a tracer study information system at SMKN 1 Tanjung Raya using the Laravel and PHP framework, as well as applying the waterfall development methodology with the UML (Unified Modeling Language) approach. This system aims to monitor graduates' career development effectively, integrating important features such as user login, completing questionnaires by graduates, graduate data management, and statistical reporting. The waterfall development methodology is used to organize the system development process in a structured manner, while UML is used to design and describe system models visually. The results of this research produce an alumni information system to facilitate alumni tracer studies at SMKN 1 Tanjung Raya.Keywords: Tracer Study, Questionnaires, Information Systems

Abstract

Hasil belajar mata pelajaran Videografi kelas XI Animasi di SMK N 4 Padang masih rendah (73,3% peserta didik belum tuntas), salah satunya karena metode dan media pembelajaran yang kurang bervariasi dan belum sepenuhnya menerapkan pendekatan Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji efektivitas e-jobsheet berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL) menggunakan Flipbook Maker sebagai solusi inovatif dalam pembelajaran Videografi. Penelitian pengembangan ini berfokus pada pengembangan e-jobsheet yang selaras dengan prinsip PjBL untuk mata pelajaran Videografi di kelas XI Animasi SMK N 4 Padang. Diharapkan pengembangan e-jobsheet PjBL ini dapat meningkatkan variasi media pembelajaran dan secara signifikan meningkatkan hasil belajar serta pemahaman konsep peserta didik dalam Videografi.

Abstract

Computer-Based Test (CBT) is a computer-based examination system used as a medium for administering tests. The presentation and selection of questions are computerized so that each participant receives a different set of questions. This system is developed to minimize cheating, question leaks, limited number of questions, and damage to questions, as well as to ensure more accurate exam results. The problem faced in this study is the inaccuracy in determining the majors for several new students at SMKN 1 Sitiung. This study aims to develop a CBT application that can help determine the majors of new students based on their talents and interests. The research method used is the prototype method, which includes three stages: Listening to the Customer, Building or Revising the Mock-up, and Testing. The results of the study show that the developed CBT application is able to help schools determine student majors more accurately, minimize errors in major placement, and ensure that students are placed according to their talents and interests.

Abstract

Guru-guru SMK Kecantikan di Sumatera Barat menghadapi tantangan dalam mengajarkan mata pelajaran Perawatan Tangan dan Kaki serta Merias Kuku (Nail Art) yang diperkenalkan dalam Kurikulum Merdeka. Kesulitan ini muncul karena para guru belum memiliki keterampilan dalam nail art dan belum mendapatkan pelatihan khusus terkait teknik merias kuku. Padahal, mata pelajaran ini telah dimasukkan dalam Kurikulum Merdeka dan harus dipelajari oleh seluruh siswa SMK Tata Kecantikan, termasuk yang ada di Sumatera Barat. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru SMK Kecantikan dalam mengajarkan mata pelajaran perawatan tangan, kaki dan merias kuku, serta meningkatkan kompetensi digital guru dalam memanfaatkan media sosial untuk promosi jasa-jasa kecantikan yang ada di salon SMK Kecantikan. Metode pelaksanaan PkM ini menggunakan sosialisasi, demonstrasi dan praktek, yang dilakukan dalam tiga tahapan yakni persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil PkM ini menunjukan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan perawatan tangan, kaki dan merias kuku serta pelatihan digital marketing untuk pembuatan konten promosi salon SMK kecantikan memberikan manfaat dan sangat berguna bagi guru.

Abstract

Henna pengantin semakin diminati di Sumatera Barat dan menjadi jasa bernilai tinggi dalam industri kecantikan. Namun, kompetensi dalam bidang ini masih rendah karena kurangnya keterampilan guru dalam mengajarkan materi henna pengantin, mengingat mata pelajaran ini baru ditambahkan dalam Kurikulum Merdeka. Selain itu, kemampuan video editing dan digital marketing juga menjadi aspek penting dalam meningkatkan promosi jasa henna di salon kecantikan sekolah. Keahlian ini tidak hanya berguna untuk menarik minat pelanggan terhadap layanan teaching factory di SMK, tetapi juga dapat diajarkan kepada siswa guna mendukung keterampilan kewirausahaan mereka serta memperluas jangkauan pasar di industri kecantikan. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan henna pengantin, video content creator, dan digital marketing bagi guru SMK kecantikan sangat diperlukan agar pembelajaran lebih efektif dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengajarkan henna pengantin sehingga dapat menghasilkan lulusan yang lebih siap kerja. Selain itu, pelatihan video content creator dan digital marketing diberikan agar guru dapat memanfaatkan media digital dalam mempromosikan salon kecantikan sekolah. Dengan demikian, diharapkan daya tarik masyarakat terhadap layanan yang disediakan di teaching factory SMK Kecantikan semakin meningkat. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah, demonstrasi, dan praktik, yang dilakukan dalam tiga tahapan yakni persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil PkM ini menunjukan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan henna pengantin,  video content creator dan digital marketing untuk mendukung teaching factory bagi  guru-guru smk kecantikan di kota padang perawatan tangan  memberikan manfaat dan sangat berguna bagi guru.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a dedicated website for managing Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) specializing in ornamental plants in the Agrotourism area of Lubuk Minturun. The website focuses on the needs of SMEs and ornamental plant buyers. The development method employed is the MVC (Model, View, Controller) architecture using the Waterfall approach to provide an organized development structure. The website offers services such as SMEs event schedules and facilities for buying and selling ornamental plant products. The successful provision of these services is expected to promote and support SMEs in ornamental plants in the area. The utilization of technologies such as the PHP programming language, Yii Framework, and MySQL database provides a solid technological foundation, ensuring the efficiency and scalability of the website. In conclusion, the design of this website not only establishes a platform for SMEs and brings positive benefits to the business development and promotion of ornamental plants in the Agrotourism area of Lubuk Minturun. With the proper technological support, it is anticipated that this website will enhance the competitiveness of SMEs and add value to stakeholders in the horticultural ornamental plant sector.

Abstract

This research aims to create an educational environment integrated with technology through the implementation of educational technology, particularly by managing and storing digital learning device documents known as repositories. The developed Repository System aims to optimize storage management for learning device documents within an educational institution. A case study was conducted at a Vocational High School (SMK). The management and storage system for learning device documents was developed using the Personal Extreme Programming (PXP) method, adopting an adaptive and flexible agile approach. The repository system also applies data compression technology to optimize the storage capacity of learning device documents. Based on the results of the data compression testing, the developed system proved to be suitable, achieving an average storage efficiency of 40.04% for each uploaded file. This research contributes practical insights into the implementation of a repository system in an educational environment, particularly in Vocational High Schools, with a focus on curriculum transitions and the efficiency of managing learning device documents.

Abstract

This research focuses on developing an online platform for lesson scheduling and grade management at MAN 1 Padang using the Waterfall methodology. The platform adopts a structured Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture to optimize efficiency and modularity, ensuring easier updates and maintenance. By utilizing Laravel as the framework and MySQL as the database, the system offers robust performance and scalability. The platform facilitates various administrative tasks, including lesson scheduling, grading, and real-time report access for students and parents, enhancing transparency and engagement. Blackbox testing results show high functionality across key performance areas such as content clarity, interface usability, navigation, security, and system responsiveness. This development aims to address inefficiencies in manual scheduling and grading processes, providing a streamlined, automated solution that improves overall academic management at MAN 1 Padang. The system is expected to increase the institution’s operational efficiency, contribute to better learning outcomes, and foster stronger communication between the school, students, and parents.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a monitoring system for the computer network infrastructure at SMKN 7 Sijunjung. The system was designed to provide real-time monitoring of traffic, activity logs, and connected user devices on the MikroTik router; additionally, the application integrated notifications through the Telegram service to offer prompt information regarding network disruptions. The design methodology employed was PPDIOO (prepare, plan, design, implement, operate, and optimize). The system is implemented using a combination of hardware and software, including the utilization of the CodeIgniter framework for the user interface (UI). System testing was conducted using the BlackBox method to evaluate the functionality of the application comprehensively. The test results confirm that the application effectively monitored the network and promptly notified us of its status. However, there were certain challenges identified during testing, such as problems with online connectivity to the MikroTik router and limitations in database storage. The proposed solutions include activating the VPN on MikroTik and enhancing database storage capacity. This research contributes to the development of computer network infrastructure-monitoring systems in educational environments. These findings will lay the groundwork for other educational institutions to enhance the efficiency of network monitoring and maintenance in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop interactive multimedia-based learning media utilizing motion graphic animation for the Basic Photography subject at SMK Negeri 4 Padang. This media was designed to assist students in understanding the material more effectively and engagingly. The method used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), consisting of six stages: concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. The validity test involved four experts, two media experts, and two material experts, while the practicality test involved ten students from Class X DKV A. The results of the validity test show that the learning media is highly valid, with Aiken's V score of 0.94 for both media and material aspects. The practicality test yielded an average score of 90.13%, categorized as "Highly Practical". This learning media successfully facilitates students in understanding basic photography concepts and increases their motivation to learn through interactive features such as animations, videos, and evaluation questions. With valid and practical results, this application is suitable as an alternative learning media to support the teaching of Basic Photography at SMK Negeri 4 Padang.
