Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the performance of Islamic Financial Institutions (IFIs) through the integration of Maqashid Sharia principles and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria. The method used is Analytic Network Process (ANP), which allows the identification of priority aspects in performance measurement in a holistic manner.  The results show that the aspect of hifdzu ad-diin (protection of religion) is the highest priority in the maqashid objectives cluster. Meanwhile, in the ESG main criteria cluster, environmental aspects occupy the most dominant position. At the sub-criteria level, natural resource conservation (E), stakeholder awareness (S), and environmentally friendly policies (G) receive the highest weight. This study makes a new contribution by building an Islamic values-based performance measurement model integrated with ESG, which is relevant for realizing sustainable finance practices. This integration strengthens the evaluation approach to institutional sustainability, not only from an economic perspective, but also from social, ethical and environmental aspects.

Abstract

The low reading abilities and skills of children have become an important reason to improve reading literacy among children in Kampung Gunung Bakti Rt 04, Desa Cihanjawar. The low level of education in the community, dominated by graduates of elementary school, is one of the factors causing a lack of awareness among parents in providing guidance to their children about the importance of developing reading habits from an early age. Reading can be a support for achieving educational goals in Indonesia and should be made a routine daily activity. Reading literacy is a process that involves the ability to read, comprehend and analyze various information obtained to solve problems that arise in daily life with the aim of improving the quality of life. This community service aims to improve the reading literacy abilities and skills, with a focus on improving children's reading abilities. The service used a collaborative Participatory Action Research (PAR) design. The author collaborated with the managers of MI Al-Barokah and Rumah Belajar Muttaqin located in Kampung Gunung Bakti Rt 04, Desa Cihanjawar. The research results showed a 60% increase in children's reading abilities. The improvement of reading literacy skills requires support from all parties to further increase the success.

Abstract

Penerapan Ice Breaking di bidang pendidikan, merupakan upaya seorang tenaga pendidik dalam peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Penerapan Ice Breaking ini adalah model pembelajaran yang dan interaktif untuk mendorong kefokusan siswa dan memotivasi siswa untuk semangat belajar. Untuk meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dan mengarah pada peningkatan motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas 10 di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Purwakarta melalui implementasi teknik ice breaking. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal, ditemukan bahwa minat belajar siswa rendah, ditandai dengan sikap pasif, kebosanan, dan kurangnya antusiasme dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, yang berdampak pada hasil belajar yang tidak optimal. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian kualitatif dan Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan empat tahapan pada tahun 2024/2025. , yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik ice breaking diterapkan untuk mencairkan suasana kelas dan memotivasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan ice breaking secara signifikan meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari peningkatan partisipasi aktif, semangat dalam mengikuti pelajaran, dan hasil belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, teknik ice breaking terbukti efektif sebagai salah satu metode untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Purwakarta.

Abstract

يهدف هذاالبحث إلى تحليل فعالية استحدام وسيلة بطاقات الفلاش في إستيعاب مفردات اللغة العربية لدى تلاميذ الصف الثاني في مدرسة مدرسة نورالانوار الدينية التكملية الاول ية بسواهان. ومن خلال فهم كيفية تطبيق بطاقات الفلاش بشكل أمثل في عملية التعليم، يتوقع أن تسهم نتائج هذاالبحث في تحسين جودة تعليم مفردات اللغة العربية في مدرسة الدينية. استخدام هذاالبحث المنهج الكمي، تصميم البحث المستخدم هو شبه التجريبي. وقد استخدام هذاالبحث أسلوب العينات غير الاحتمالية من نوع "عينات الإشباع" (ٍSampling Jenuh). بناء على نتائج تحليل البيانات، تم الاستنتاج أن أولا، مستوى إستيعاب المفردات لدى الطلاب بعد تقديم التعلم باستخدم وسيلة بطاقات الفلاش كان فعالا جدا. وقد ثبت ذلك من خلال النتائج التي أظهرت أن متوسط الدرجة بلغ كان (٨٠,٥٠)، حيث كانت أعلى درجة في الاختبار البعدي (١٠٠)، وأدنى درجة (٣٠). ثانيا، أظهر اختبا الارتباط علاقة بين متغير استجدم وسيلة بطاقات الفلاش ومتغير إستيعاب المفردات. وقد تم الحصول على قيمة الدلالة ٠,٠٣ < ٠,٠٥، مما يعني وجود علاقة إيجابية بين استخدم وسيلة بطاقات الفلاش و إستيعاب المفردات.ثالثا، كما أن نتيجة اختبار معامل الارتباط كانت ٠,٠٠ < ٠,٠٥، مما يعني وجود علاقة إيجابية متوسطة بين متغير استخدم وسيلة بطاقات الفلاش و إستيعاب المفردات.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems that occur in the process of teaching vocabulary for the tenth grade, which are the students' lack of understanding of teaching the Arabic language, the student's lack of interest in teaching the Arabic language, and the lack of student activity in teaching the Arabic language. This study aims to determine the effect of using the Internet on increasing students' understanding of Arabic vocabulary. The method used in this study is the use of quantitative methods with experimental study types and quasi-experimental designs. Data were collected in this study using observation, tests, and interviews. As for the results of this study, it was found that online media affected students' understanding of the study of vocabulary, which can be seen through an increase in the average score of students in the post-test, which reached 82.73. The regression test "F" value: is 10.777 with a value of 0.04 and the "T" test: is 3.283. with a value of 0.00. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Internet has an impact on teaching vocabulary to students

Abstract

This study aims to develop an effective method for teaching Arabic vocabulary to children in Wanayasa Village using an interactive approach. The research focuses on the use of media such as songs, flashcards, and educational games to improve students' understanding and interest in learning Arabic. Initial observations revealed that children in Wanayasa Village had limited proficiency in Arabic vocabulary and considered Arabic to be a difficult and boring subject. Therefore, this mentoring program was designed to introduce Arabic vocabulary through engaging activities that encourage active student participation. The results of the study show that the interactive method increased children's involvement in learning, improved their vocabulary comprehension, and changed their perception of Arabic to a more positive one. Evaluations conducted after the mentoring sessions indicate a significant improvement in the mastery of the vocabulary taught. These findings support the theory that varied and enjoyable teaching methods can enhance motivation and learning outcomes, particularly in Arabic language instruction. This study recommends the use of interactive methods as an effective alternative.

Abstract

This article aims to improve Arabic language skills in children's Koran studies in Cukang Lemah village through reading skills training. This research uses the PAR (Participatory Action Research) method. This research, carried out on February 7 2023, in its implementation, this research began with an introduction to the importance of Arabic vocabulary and the importance of reading skills for beginners or for children. The lack of children's reading ability and the number of children who are not even familiar with Arabic vocabulary, because Arabic vocabulary is not only studied at the beginner level but will continue to a higher level. This service can improve Arabic vocabulary reading skills in Cukang Lemah, Cihanjawar ABSTRAKArtikel ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa Arab pada pengajian anak-anak di desa Cukang Lemah melalui pelatihan keterampilan membaca. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode PAR (Participatory Action Research). Abstract

Abstrak  Kaidah ilmu nahwu mengkaji tentang perubahan akhir kalimat sehingga tatanan bahasa akan menentukan benar atau salah bacaan. Masalah dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah santri belum memahami kaidah ilmu nahwu karena kurang memperhatikan penjelasan guru sehingga santri tidak ada motivasi untuk belajar ilmu nahwu. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode participatory Action Research (PAR) yang merupakan pengabdian yang dilakukan dalam tiga tahap; riset, aksi, dan partisipasi dengan masyarakat. Peningkatan pemahaman nahwu merupakan alat untuk membantu santri dalam aspek membaca dan menulis bahasa Arab. Melalui metode TGT dapat meningkatkan kemampuan santri dalam mempelajari ilmu nahwu, dengan alasan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan metode TGT dapat motivasi santri sehingga santri mendapatkan daya tarik untuk terus menerus belajar kaidah ilmu nahwu. Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk membantu santri dalam peningkatan pemahaman nahwu. Hasil dari tes non-objektif dengan uraian bebas, pemahaman nahwu pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam penggunaan metode TGT terdapat peningkatan pada temuan awal yang kriteria baik 20% menjadi 26%, kriteria cukup 34% menjadi 54%, dan kriteria kurang baik 46% menjadi 20%. Berdasarkan hasil yang dicapai dengan menggunakan metode TGT telah berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan santri dalam pembelajaran nahwu, meskipun tidak mencapai 100%.Kata Kunci: Ilmu Nahwu, Metode TGT, PAR

Abstract

Arabic is an important language for Muslims, serving as the language of the Quran and other Islamic sciences. Arabic language learning in madrasas (Islamic schools) needs to be directed so that students not only memorize vocabulary and grammar but also master comprehensive language skills such as reading, speaking, listening, and writing (Maharah Kitabah). Maharah Kitabah is often challenging, especially at the Madrasah Aliyah (Islamic Senior High School) level, as it requires an understanding of grammar and grammar rules, as well as the ability to construct accurate and systematic sentences. Maharah Kitabah learning has tended to be conventional and teacher-centered, resulting in low student engagement and suboptimal outcomes. This study implemented a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model that focuses on solving real-world problems by integrating question-based games as a medium to increase student motivation and engagement. The study used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with 36 11th-grade students from MAN Purwakarta as subjects. The procedure involved two learning cycles, with data collected through comprehension tests, observations, motivational questionnaires, and interviews. The results of the study showed a significant increase in students' understanding of the Maharah Kitabah, with an average pretest score of 55 increasing to 78 in the final cycle posttest
