Abstract

The Gig Economy Worker phenomenon is becoming an option for Generation Z to work; the problems that occur are the lack of attention from the Government in providing good guarantees for Gig Economy Workers, so it is necessary to conduct research that has the objective of How to Form Government Attention in Providing Social Security and Protection for Gig Economy Worker, What is the Role of the Digital Freelancer Marketplace in the Development of the Gig Economy Worker; What is the Role of Social Media on the Development of the Gig Economy Worker. The methodology in this study is that this type of research is analytic observational using a case-control or case-control research design. The results of this study show that there is still a need for more government attention because they do not provide social security and legal protection, and the results of the development of the Gig Economy, Workers are heavily influenced by the Digital Freelancer Marketplace and social media. This research has good implications for the development of science and illustrates that Gig Economy Workers are entitled to social security and protection where Gig Economy Workers work.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of self-brand image congruity on customer- brand engagement mediated by brand-relationship quality as an intervening variable in the Xioami smartphone case study. The dependent variable analyzed in this study is customer-brand engagement. The independent variable analyzed in this study is self- brand image congruity. The samples used in this study were Xioami smartphone users consisting of 100 respondents. Sampling was carried out using the accidental sampling method, which is an accidental sampling method by taking cases or respondents who happened to be available or available somewhere according to the research context. This study uses the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis method. The results of this study indicate that self-brand image congruity has a positive and significant effect on brand-relationship quality. Brand-relationship quality has a positive and significant effect on customer-brand engagement. Self-brand image congruity has no positive and significant effect on customer-brand engagement. The other results of this study are that self-brand image congruity has a positive and significant effect on customer-brand engagement through brand-relationship quality as an intervening variable.

Abstract

Universitas Terbuka (UT, literally Open University) organizes distance learning through the Online Tutorial (Tuton) service. Tuton is an internet-based tutorial service that can be accessed via the site http://elearning.ut.ac.id by all UT students, including UPBJJ UT Denpasar students. Analysis of the quality of UPBJJ UT Denpasar student tutoring services has never been carried out before. Based on these problems, this research aims to analyze and measure the quality of Tuton application services using WebQual 4.0 dimensions, which are moderated by gender and age variables. This research uses a quantitative method approach to student satisfaction data from the UT UPBJJ Denpasar Management Study Program, who have used the Tuton application for more than three semesters. Data analysis techniques using the SEM–PLS method. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that there was a positive influence between the usability variable, the service interaction quality variable, and the Information Quality variable on the user satisfaction variable. The gender moderating variable can act as pure moderation on the service interaction quality and Information Quality variables. Meanwhile, the age variable is a potential moderator of the three variables. From these results, it can be concluded that the service quality of the Tuton application shows a robust model on the Webqual Method indicators for user satisfaction variables, and this application is beneficial and in accordance with student needs. The learning support aspects still need to be improved, especially the speed of response time and the accuracy of the tutorial services provided by tutors.

Abstract

The partner in this community partnership program activity is Mrs. Ni Nengah Resti whose address is in Tegallinggah Village, Karangasem District. Jaje begina production is produced using sufficient and simple equipment, both in processing and in the packaging process. Marketing is carried out conventionally by partners by leaving products in nearby stalls and selling them to the market. Another obstacle faced by partners in the packaging process is still using staples without labels. The solutions provided in this service activity are based on the principles of intensification, extensification and rationalization in three activity methods of awareness, capacity building and mentoring. The aim of this community service is how to increase the quantity and quality of products from partners. The results of the service show that partners are able to increase the quantity and quality of products, where the time needed to produce such snacks is shorter than before. Products produced by partners already have the label "jaje begina me' resti" with marketing using the social media fan page Facebook. The partner response was very satisfying with a percentage of 72,14%.

Abstract

Mitra dalam pengabdian saat ini adalah kelompok PKK Tempet Kangin yang beranggotakan 12 orang. Kelompok PKK ini bergerak dalam bidang sosial dan kegiatan eknomi. Kegiatan ekonomi yang dilakukan oleh kelompok ini adalah memproduksi kacang bali (kacang kapri dan kacang mentik) dengan produksi sebanyak 40 kg sebulan. Hal ini dilakukan karena peralatan yang digunakan terbatas. Kacang yang diproduksi dijual dengan kemasan sekala besar dengan rasa original karena hasil produksi diambil langsung oleh pengepul. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra yaitu keterbatasan alat produksi dan pengemasan, pengemasan dalam skala besar, produk yang dihasilkan hanya satu jenis varian dan satu jenis kemasan dan proses pemasaran produk terbatas karena langsung dijual ke pengepul. Pemecahan masalah yang diberikan yaitu dengan memberikan sumbangan alat – alat produksi dan beberapa pelatihan. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian dilakukan dengan 3 tahapan yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap monitoring. Hasil pengabdian yang diperoleh yaitu adanya peningkatan kapasistas produksi, adanya berbagai kemasan, rasa dan varian produk yang siap dipasarkan melalui pemasaran digital. Kegiatan evaluasi dan monitoring yang sudah dilakukan dalam kegiaatan pengabdian ini memperoleh hasil bahwa pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian pada mitra telah terlaksanakan sesuai dengan perencanaan serta target kegiatan yang ditetapkan.

Abstract

The Balinese spice "NePaon" is produced by the Suka Wirang group which is in Bukit Tibulaka Village. The main problems faced by partners are (1) in the production sector, production capacity is less than optimal and packaging leaks, causing labels to become damaged. (2) in the marketing sector, there are limitations to marketing carried out conventionally. The final problem (3) is in the legal sector, where the partner product does not yet have a production permit as a legality and security aspect in expanding marketing. The solution to the problem provided is by offering donations for production equipment and some training. The method of implementing the service is by adopting the PALS (participatory learning system) method. The results of the service obtained are an increase in production capacity in the last two months, increased knowledge of partners in packaging with new designs. Partners already have social media as digital marketing. Partners have knowledge in certification and electronic transactions. Partner responses to the implementation of activities with results were 31% satisfactory and 69% very satisfactory. Meanwhile, in training, partner responses were 37.5% satisfactory and 62.5% very satisfactory.         Keywords: Balinese spices; PALS; production training; increased production  Abstrak: Bumbu Bali “NePaon” di produksi oleh kelompok Suka Wirang yang terletak di Desa Bukit Tibulaka. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra yaitu (1) bidang produksi, kapasitas produksi kurang maksimal dan pengemasan mengalami kebocoran sehingga menyebabkan label menjadi rusak. (2) bidang pemasaran, adanya keterbatasan pemasaran yang dilakukan secara konvesional. Permasalahan terakhir (3) bidang hukum, dimana produk mitra belum memiliki izin produksi sebagai aspek legalitas dan standar keamanan dalam memperluas pemasaran. Pemecahan masalah yang diberikan yaitu dengan menawarkan sumbangan alat – alat produksi dan beberapa pelatihan. Metode pelakasanaan pengabdian dengan mengadopsi metode PALS (participatory learning system). Hasil pengabdian diperoleh yaitu adanya peningkatan kapasitas produksi dalam dua bulan terakhir, meningkatnya pengetahuan mitra dalam melakukan pengemasan dengan desain yang baru. Mitra sudah memiliki media sosial sebagai pemasaran digital marketing. Mitra memiliki pengatahuan dalam sertifikasi dan transaksi elektronik. Respon mitra terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan dengan hasil 31% memuaskan dan 69% sangat memuaskan. Sedangkan pada pelatihan, respon mitra 37,5% memuaskan dan 62,5% sangat memuaskan.Kata kunci: bumbu bali; PALS; pelatihan produksi; peningkatan produksi

Abstract

The selection process of bidikmisi scholarship involves many requirements as a criterion, thus requiring completion decisions supporters with multi-criteria. One of the decision support concept with multi-citeria is VIKOR Method. The basic concept of the VIKOR Method is to determine the rank of available samples by looking at the results of utility values, regrets and distance solutions as the best alternative of each sample by weighting criteria from the Analytic Hierarchy Process Method. This research purpose is to apply the VIKOR method in selecting the recipients of bidikmisi scholarship by considering various criteria that have been determined. The results shows that the VIKOR Method can be used to assist the selection process and determine the right scholarship recipients. At the VIKOR Method, each weight that are involved shows the result rank value, so it can be used as a compromise solution in dealing with multicriteria problems.

Abstract

Baby's birth weight is influenced by characteristics of pregnant women such as age, parity, education level, pregnancy visit, and gestational age. Classification of the birth weight of a baby is grouped into several groups, namely low birth weight babies, normal baby weight and excess baby weight. The classification method with ordinal logistic regression provides an unstable parameter estimation, which means that if there is a change in the data set causes a significant change in the model. So that to obtain a stable parameter estimation in the ordinal logistic regression model is used aggregating (bagging) bootstrap approach. This study aims to improve the classification of ordinal logistic regression by using bagging on a baby's birth weight. The classification results with bagging ordinal logistic regression were able to reduce classification errors by 20.237% with 76.67% classification accuracy

Abstract

The world is still evolving, and in this era of disruption, everything is based on digital technology. A new phenomenon has emerged in the business world in recent years, namely the bankruptcy of a number of large companies in Indonesia like Giant and the closure of several Carrefour outlets and Matahari Department Store. The research aimed to analyze the effect of interactivity and Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) on the intention to purchase Erigo products with the brand image as a mediating variable on Generation Z in Denpasar City. As the respondents, 208 samples from Denpasar City’s Generation Z population were selected using a purposive selection technique. The analysis method used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM). As a result, Generation Z in Denpasar City is positively and significantly influenced by brand image, E-WOM, and interactivity when it comes to their intention to buy Erigo fashion items. When it comes to the purchase intention for Erigo products, brand image has the ability to mediate the impact of TikTok interactivity and E-WOM. The managerial implications include the need for Erigo management to focus on the factors influencing potential customers’ decisions to purchase Erigo products, specifically interactivity, E-WOM, and brand image.

Abstract

Self-efficacy is a critical determinant of learner success in Open and Distance Learning (ODL), where limited interaction and tutor-centred instruction may weaken confidence and autonomy. This study examines how progressively scaffolded learning designs improve self-efficacy by comparing a Conventional Tutorial, a Flipped Classroom with Design Thinking (FCDT), and an AI-enhanced FCDT-AI model. Using a within-subjects repeated-measures design, 26 undergraduate ODL students recruited through purposive sampling experienced all three conditions in a counterbalanced sequence. Self-efficacy was measured with a validated 34-item scale, complemented by reflection logs. Quantitative analysis (Greenhouse–Geisser–adjusted repeated-measures ANOVA) showed a significant, monotonic increase in self-efficacy from the Conventional Tutorial to FCDT and FCDT-AI (p < .001). Mean scores rose from 77.79 to 80.99 and 85.05, respectively, with decreasing coefficients of variation indicating more stable confidence under higher scaffolding. Qualitative findings reinforced this progression: students described tutor dependence and uncertainty under the Conventional Tutorial, greater autonomy and structured mastery under FCDT, and the strongest, most consistent confidence under FCDT-AI due to AI-supported guidance. These results demonstrate that structured flipped design-thinking models, strengthened by generative AI scaffolding, can substantially enhance self-efficacy in ODL contexts. Future studies should investigate long-term effects across larger and more diverse learner populations.
