Abstract

Abstract Social interaction is a relationship that is experienced by every individual, including students. With a good social interaction, students are expected to develop their potential. Growing potential with maximum yielded a satisfactory learning outcomes. Good learning results coupled with a good ability to interact socially too. For that purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between the ability of social interaction with the learning outcomes. This research method is quantitative correlation type.

Abstract

Implementation of individual counseling, guidance and counseling teachers should apply the principle of confidentiality. Reality shows that there are still students who are not open in expressing their concerns. This study aimed to test whether there is a link students' perception implementation of the principle of confidentiality by teacher guidance and counseling with individual counseling student interest. This study belongs to the kind of descriptive correlational. Eleventh grade students study population, sampling using proportional random sampling technique. The results showed there is a significant relationship between students' perceptions of the implementation of the principle of confidentiality by teacher guidance and counseling to interest students to attend individual counseling.

Abstract

Making note is important in the learning process. The existence of the note, will help the student to repeat the lesson. The research was descriptive correlational form was aimed at testing the relationship between skills notes and learning outcomes of students. The research sample was junior high school student 4 Padang Panjang totaling 83 students. Data collection tool was a questionnaire, data were analyzed by percentage and correlation techniques. The research findings indicate that there is a significant correlation (r 0.474) between skills notes and learning outcomes of students. Keyword: skills notes of students, learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of guidance and counseling students who feel anxious in preparing a essay. Anxiety is an unpleasant emotion that is characterized by worries and helplessness towards something that will happen in the future. The purpose of the reasearch was to describe the level of anxiety of guidance and counseling students in compiling the essay. Type of research is descriptive. The research subjects were 27 students. Data were analyzed by percentage techniques. The research findings reveal the level of anxiety of guidance and counseling students in compiling the essay is in the high category.

Abstract

This research is based on a phenomenon that is still found by students who violate various rules and regulations in schools such as students who are not well-dressed, arrive late to school, absent without information and various other violations. This study aims to describe students' discipline towards school rules in terms of: (1) dressing, (2) timeliness, (3) social behavior, and (4) learning ethics. This type of research is descriptive. The research sample was 177 students at public Senior High School in Tanjung Mutiara, Agam Regency. The research findings revealed that students' discipline on aspects: (1) dressed as very high, (2) on aspects of timeliness classified as high, (3) on aspects of social behavior classified as high, and (4) on aspects of learning ethics classified as high.

Abstract

Every student has a goal to be succesfull in everyday activities both in class and outside of lectures. To achieve this success requires fighting power and readiness to face the problem, namely the adversity quotient. This research is motivated by the problem that occur among female students in terms of ethnic backgorunds, namely Javenese and Minangk in overcoming difficulties and problem both inside and outside academia. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study that describes the Javanese and Minang ethnicities. The sample consisted of 200 people who were divided into two ethnicities with 100 students each who were taken using insidental sampling techniques. The isntrument used was a questionnaire with a Likerd scale model and proessed through statictical techniques with a percentage formula. To see the difference in the level of adversity quotient among female students from javanese and Minang, the t-test technque was used with the help of SPSS 25.0 software. The finding of the study were that there was no significant difference between the level of adversity quotient between female students of Javanese and Minang ethnicities, indicated by significance of 0,039, it was found that the t count was 1,366 which was smaller than the t table of 1,984 with 98 degress of freedom (df) at the 5% confidence level.

Abstract

The type of research used is quantitative with a comparative descriptive approach. The population  in this study were students of SMPN 15 Padang and MTsN 1 Padang with a total of 887 students from both schools and a total sample of 265 students from both schools taken by simple random sampling technique. The data collection tool used was a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The results of this study show that: (1) overall the learning habits of students at SMPN 15 Padang and MTsN 1 Padang are in the good category with a percentage of 85.5%, (2) the learning habits of students in SMPN 15 Padang are in the good category with a percentage of 62% and the study habits of students in MTsN are in the good category with a percentage of 68%, and (3) the t-test states that there are significant differences regarding the learning habits of students at SMPN 15 Padang and MTsN 1 Padang, which average student learning habits in MTsN 1 Padang are better than students at SMPN 15 Padang.

Abstract

Social acceptance in the education process should be able to run well, but in reality there are problems. Inclusive Students get less social acceptance from Regular Students this results in decreased confidence of Inclusive Students. One of the factors influencing the Inclusive Students' self-confidence is social acceptance, therefore, if social acceptance is low, the self-confidence of Inclusion Students is low and vice versa.This article is a literature study that will explain the Regular Students 'social acceptance of Inclusive Students and the Inclusive Students' confidence and their implications for guidance and counseling services. The data source in this article comes from books, articles, research report and written regulations which regulate inclusive education.  Hopefully this article can be a reference.

Abstract

This research is based on the existence of students who have not been able to perform behaviors or behaviors to remove, eliminate, and overcome stress in handling learning. This study aims to: (1) describe the handling of student academic stress in terms of handling emotional stress, and (2) describe the handling of academic stress in terms of handling academic stress in MAN Padang City. This type of research is descriptive research. The study population was 1,966 students with a sample of 301 students with Proportional Random Sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique is the percentage. The results showed that: (1) handling of students 'academic stress in terms of handling academic stress was high, and (2) handling of students' academic stress in terms of handling focused problems was high.

Abstract

The research was based on the condition of the teenagers in orphanages that lived without parent. They will surely encounter various obstacles and difficulties in dayli life. Then to handle these teenagers needed an ability called resilience. The purpose of this research is to describe the resilience of teenagers in Orphanage’s Shine Al-Falah Padang. The sampel in this research is 74 teenagers. The result of research showed that teenagers in orphan resilience by all aspect was in the high category. Teenagers orphan resilience seen from the aspect of emotion regulation, optimism, self-efficacy and reaching out was in the high category. And then, teenagers orphan resilience seen from the aspect impulsive control, causal analysis, and empati was in the medium category.
