Abstract

Menurunnya prestasi belajar siswa merupakan akibat dari rendahnya motivasi berprestasi yang dimiliki siswa. Siswa yang memiliki motivasi berprestasi rendah ditunjukkan dari ketidakstabilan nilai prestasi belajarnya. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi berprestasi yaitu adversity quotient. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran adversity quotient pada siswa SMP, mendeskripsikan gambaran motivasi berprestasi pada siswa SMP, dan menguji apakah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara adversity quotient dengan motivasi berprestasi siswa SMP. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adversity quotient siswa SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP secara keseluruhan berada pada kategori tinggi dengan presentase 56,9%, motivasi berprestasi siswa SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP secara keseluruhan berada pada kategori tinggi dengan presentase 51,1%, dan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara adversity quotient dengan motivasi berprestasi siswa SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,264 dengan nilai  signifikansi sebesar 0,002 pada tingkat hubungan yang lemah. Artinya semakin tinggi adversity quotient maka semakin tinggi pula motivasi berprestasi, sebaliknya semakin rendah adversity quotient maka semakin rendah pula motivasi berprestasi. Adapun layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang dapat diberikan untuk meningkatkan adversity quotient dan motivasi berprestasi siswa yaitu layanan informasi, layanan bimbingan kelompok, dan layanan konseling individual. Keywords: Adversity Quotient, Motivasi Berprestasi, Prestasi Belajar

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh siswa mengalami keyakinan diri yang rendah dalam mengahadapi berbagai tuntutan pembelajaran sehingga berpotensi mengalami stres akademik. Siswa yang tidak memiliki keyakinan terhadap kemampuan yang dimilki untuk menghadapi situasi dapat mempersepsikan tekanan dalam taraf apapun sebagai hal yang menekan. Salah satu factor yang diduga mempengaruhinya adalah self efficacy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan self efficacy siswa di SMAN 6 Padang, (2) mendeskripsikan stres akademik siswa di SMAN 6 Padang, (3) menguji apakah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara self efficacy dengan stres akademik siswa di SMAN 6 Padang. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa (1) self efficacy siswa berada pada kategori sedang, (2) stres akademik siswa berada pada kategori sedang, (3) terdapat hubungan negatif antara self efficacy dengan stres akademik siswa dengan indeks korelasi -0,393 pada tingkat hubungan yang lemah.Keywords: Self Efficacy, Stres Akademik

Abstract

Adolescent social interactions benefit greatly from prosocial behavior. Adolescent prosocial behavior, such as being egocentric and unconcerned with their friends, decreased during the new normal era.Empathy is one of the elements that affect prosocial behavior. The three objectives of this study are to (1) describe a picture of student empathy, (2) describe a description of students' prosocial behavior, and (3) determine whether there is a significant relationship between empathy and prosocial behavior among high school students in the new normal era. A quantitative research methodology using a descriptive and correlational approach was used. The population of the study consisted of all 214 students enrolled in SMAN 2 Ranah Pesisir, with 139 students representing as the sample using stratified random sampling. The Likert scale model and the empathy questionnaire were used to collect data on students' prosocial behavior. Percentage and correlation methods utilizing Pearson Correlation Product Moment are used in data analysis. According to the study's findings, student prosocial behavior was in the high category with a percentage of 54.0%, while student empathy was in the high category with a percentage of 68.3%. Additionally, there was a significant positive correlation between these two behaviors, with a correlation coefficient of 0.647 and a significant value of 0.000.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the number of students who violate school rules. This study aims to describe the form of students' violations of school rules related to: (1) attending ceremonies, (2) clothing and makeup, (3) laboratory use, (4) doing homework, (5) paying tuition fees, (6) the learning process, (7) absence and leaving school, 8) worship. The research method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The sample in this study were 77 students of SMA N 8 Padang using purposive sampling technique. For data processing using descriptive statistical methods. The results showed that the forms of violation of the rules by students were (1) 46% of students often did not use school attributes during the flag ceremony, (2) 58.4% of students often did not use complete school attributes, (3) 32.4% of students rarely used laboratory coats and complete personal protective equipment, (4) 19, 4% of students rarely do every assignment given independently without cheating friends, (5) 32.4% of students often deliberately do not pay school fees, (6) 48% of students often go to the canteen when there is no teacher in class, (7) 50.2% of students often ask permission from teachers via whatsapp and students are often late entering the classroom after recess, (8) 24.6% of students rarely perform 5-time prayers.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of a number of factors that influence students' truant behavior at school. This research aims to describe the factors that influence the truancy behavior of students at SMPN 1 Lembah Gumanti in terms of: (1) the aspect of not going to school for days, (2) the aspect of not going to school without permission, (3) the aspect of frequently leaving during class hours. . certain things, (4) aspects of going to school on different days, (5) aspects of being invited by friends to go out for subjects you don't like, (6) aspects of not going to class after break time, (7) aspects of sending permission letters with made-up reasons. For. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The research sample used a total sampling technique of 90 people. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data is processed using a percentage formula. The research results show the factors that influence students to skip class: (1) because they are not in a good mood, (2) because they are not enthusiastic about going to school, (3) because they don't get more pocket money, (4) because they are bored with the material presented. and the way the teacher teaches, (5) because he feels that the teacher who teaches is favoritism, (6) because his friend invited him to sit in the canteen during class time, (7) he left class time because he was invited by his friend, (8) because the class atmosphere was not pleasant, (9) stay in the canteen to eat, (10) because they are not interested in the next subject (11) because they don't do their school work, (12) because they are afraid of being punished if they don't come in without explanation.

Abstract

Low emotional intelligence can have negative impacts on yourself and others because you cannot take an appropriate attitude. Therefore, group guidance is very necessary to increase students’ emotional intelligence. The research method used is Quantitative with a Pre-experiment design Experimental method. The reseach subjects 11 students MTsN 11 Agam those selected using Purposive Sampling technique. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results of student data analysis after following group guidance 5 times stated that there was a significant difference in scores between the pretest and posttest of students’emotional intelligence after following group guidance.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there are still students who lack discipline in studying. One of the factors that influences learning discipline is gender. This research aims to: (1) describe the learning discipline of male students, (2) describe the learning discipline of female students and, (3) test whether there are significant differences in learning discipline between male and female students at SMP Negeri 32 Padang . This research used a comparative descriptive approach, with a sample of 276 students using proportional stratified random sampling techniques. The results showed that the study discipline of male students was in the high category (76.19%), the study discipline of female students was also in the high category (80.64%) and there were significant differences in study discipline between male and female students with The significance level is 0.000.

Abstract

Self-control is the ability to rule out or change responses in a person, as well as eliminate unwanted problems and refrain from doing anything necessary for adolescent in using smartphones. Self-control of adolescent in using smartphones in this study is viewed from aspects of self-discipline, deliberate / non-impulsive, healthy habits, work ethic and reliability. This study aims to describe self-control of adolescents in using smartphone. This research is a descriptive analytic study, with a sample of 246 adolescents at SMAN 2 Padang obtained using propotional stratified random sampling technique. The study used a questionnaire instrument complied using a likert scale mode. The results of this study indicate that self-control of adolescent in using smartphones is generally appropriate in the high category. This needs to be corrected and improved in order to avoid the negative effects of using a smartphone.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there are still many students who have low achievement motivation. This research aims to: (1) Describe the level of self-efficacy of students at SMAN 1 Banuhampu, (2) Describe the achievement motivation of students at SMAN 1 Banuhampu, (3) Test whether there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and the achievement motivation of students at SMAN 1 Banuhampu . The research method used in this study is quantitative with a descriptive correlational approach. The sample of this study was 271 students selected using the stratified random sampling technique. The instruments used in this study were the self-efficacy instrument and the achievement motivation instrument. The data was processed using statistical techniques to determine the percentage value processed in the Microsoft Excel program, to find the relationship between the two variables the Pearson product moment technique was used. The results of the study showed that: (1) Self-efficacy in students at SMAN 1 Banuhampu as a whole was in the moderate category (53.16%). This means that most students at SMAN 1 Banuhampu are not yet confident in their abilities. (2) Achievement motivation in students of SMAN 1 Banuhampu as a whole is in the moderate category (61.88%) this means that most students already have motivation to achieve achievements. (3) There is a significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and achievement motivation in students of SMAN 1 Banuhampu with a correlation coefficient of 0.432 and a significance level of 0.000, where the higher the student's self-efficacy, the higher the achievement motivation in students, and vice versa, the lower the student's self-efficacy, the lower the achievement motivation in students.
