Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas layanan penguasaan konten berbasis inquiry dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 28 Padang. Latar belakang penelitian adalah rendahnya kepercayaan diri siswa, ditunjukkan oleh rasa takut tampil di depan umum, enggan mengemukakan pendapat, dan rasa malu berlebihan. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Sampel berjumlah 30 siswa yang dipilih dengan purposive sampling dari populasi 210 siswa. Instrumen angket mengacu pada indikator Lauster: keyakinan kemampuan diri, optimisme, objektivitas, tanggung jawab, dan rasionalitas. Hasil analisis paired sample t-test menunjukkan peningkatan skor rata-rata dari 84,90 menjadi 97,50 dengan signifikansi 0,000 (<0,05), menandakan layanan ini efektif meningkatkan kepercayaan diri. Penelitian merekomendasikan penerapan layanan penguasaan konten berbasis inquiry oleh guru bimbingan dan konseling untuk mengembangkan potensi siswa melalui pembelajaran yang aktif, terstruktur, dan partisipatif.

Abstract

Penelitian terbaru mengungkap data bahwa banyak remaja yang melakukan perilaku self-injury. Sejumlah teori mengungkapkan bahwa salah satu indikator yang berperan besar terhadap perilaku adalah sikap. Dalam kaitan ini, sikap terhadap perilaku self-injury diprediksi berperan terhadap terjadinya perilaku self-injury. Penelitian saat ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran sikap siswa SMPN 2 Padang terhadap self-injury pada. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Responden penelitian adalah siswa SMPN 2 Padang tahun ajaran 2024/2025 sebanyak 263 siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik Stratified Random Sampling. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan Skala Sikap Siswa terhadap Self-Injury yang disusun berpedoman pada model Skala Likert. Data yang terkumpul diolah menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan bantuan program Microsoft Excel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa secara umum sikap siswa SMPN 2 Padang terhadap self-injury berada pada ketegori rendah. Artinya, siswa memiliki sikap negatif terhadap self injury. Dengan kata lain, siswa SMPN 2 Padang cenderung tidak akan berperilaku self-injury. Pembahasan fokus kepada aspek-aspek sikap terhadap self-injury dan implikasi terhadap layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling.

Abstract

This research is based on the presence of a number of teenagers who drop out of school in the North Teluk Kabung Subdistrict, Padang City. Some of the teenagers appear to help parents fulfill their daily needs such as fishing and the conditions of life and adolescence are not conducive. This type of research is field research and qualitative methods, the technique of determining respondents is the snowball sampling technique. Data collection techniques through observation and interviews. Data were analyzed by step data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The respondents of this study were eleven people. The results showed that the factors that caused adolescents to drop out in the area were, low learning ability and lazy repetition, insufficient school fees, staying in class and not passing the National Examination (National Examination), lack of attention from parents, bullying by friends, student attitudes toward the teacher, and the presence of students during learning (leaving class while studying).

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there are still many students who have low achievement motivation. This research aims to: (1) Describe the level of self-efficacy of students at SMAN 1 Banuhampu, (2) Describe the achievement motivation of students at SMAN 1 Banuhampu, (3) Test whether there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and the achievement motivation of students at SMAN 1 Banuhampu . The research method used in this study is quantitative with a descriptive correlational approach. The sample of this study was 271 students selected using the stratified random sampling technique. The instruments used in this study were the self-efficacy instrument and the achievement motivation instrument. The data was processed using statistical techniques to determine the percentage value processed in the Microsoft Excel program, to find the relationship between the two variables the Pearson product moment technique was used. The results of the study showed that: (1) Self-efficacy in students at SMAN 1 Banuhampu as a whole was in the moderate category (53.16%). This means that most students at SMAN 1 Banuhampu are not yet confident in their abilities. (2) Achievement motivation in students of SMAN 1 Banuhampu as a whole is in the moderate category (61.88%) this means that most students already have motivation to achieve achievements. (3) There is a significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and achievement motivation in students of SMAN 1 Banuhampu with a correlation coefficient of 0.432 and a significance level of 0.000, where the higher the student's self-efficacy, the higher the achievement motivation in students, and vice versa, the lower the student's self-efficacy, the lower the achievement motivation in students.
