Abstract

The research objective was to obtain empirical evidence of the role of perceived organizational support in moderating the effect of achievement motivation and work discipline on lecturer performance. The population in this study were all lecturers at Tribhuwana Tunggadewi University, totaling 191 people. The number of samples is determined by the slovin formula which produces 99 lecturers as respondents. The sampling uses probability sampling with the type of proportionate stratified random sampling. The analysis technique uses variance-based SEM (Structural Equation Model), namely PLS (Partial Least Square) with the help of the SmartPLS program. The results of the study show that achievement motivation can improve lecturer performance. Work discipline has not been able to improve lecturer performance. Perceived organizational support succeeded in strengthening the effect of achievement motivation on lecturer performance. Perceived organizational support succeeded in strengthening the effect of work discipline on lecturer performance.

Abstract

Lansia mengalami penurunan fisik dan psikologis alami seiring bertambahnya usia. Lansia sehat dapat hidup mandiri dan produktif, sedangkan lansia yang tidak sehat menjadi tanggungan keluarga atau negara. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini mengidentifikasi perlunya kegiatan yang meningkatkan semangat hidup lansia dan memanfaatkan potensi kewirausahaan untuk sumber pendapatan panti. Subjek dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah Panti Jompo Peduli Kasih KNDJH yang berlokasi di Kota Malang. Pelaksanaan pengabdian meliputi senam pagi, penyuluhan kewirausahaan, sharing session, dan evaluasi. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kesehatan, kesejahteraan, dan kemandirian lansia, serta kepercayaan diri pengurus panti untuk mengembangkan usaha.

Abstract

This study aims to understand how work motivation and job satisfaction influence employee performance, while also considering the role of tenure as a moderating factor. The research was conducted at Galaxy Solusindo in Malang City, involving all employees of the company. Using a total sampling method, 85 employees participated by completing a questionnaire, and the collected data was analyzed using Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) software. The findings indicate that work motivation, job satisfaction, and tenure all have a significant and positive impact on employee performance. Furthermore, tenure has been found to either strengthen or weaken the effect of motivation and job satisfaction on performance. In other words, employees with longer tenure tend to demonstrate better performance, driven by higher levels of motivation and job satisfaction.

Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini untuk menguji pengaruh citra destinasi dan fasilitas terhadap kepuasan wisatawan, serta peran kualitas pelayanan sebagai variabel moderasi pada destinasi wisata alam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif eksplanatori. Metode analisis data menggunakan SmartPLS untuk pengujian model struktural dan SPSS untuk statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa citra destinasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan wisatawan. Namun, fasilitas tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan wisatawan. Kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan wisatawan, serta mampu memperkuat hubungan antara citra destinasi dan kepuasan wisatawan, namun tidak memperkuat hubungan antara fasilitas dan kepuasan wisatawan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh Quality of Work Life sebagai strategi Intention to Stay dengan penguatan Komitmen Organisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif eksplanatori research. Populasi sekaligus sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan yang bekerja di PT. Bintang Perkasa Logistik Malang sebanyak 43 orang. Teknik penarikan sampel yang digunakan adalah Non-probability sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner melalui software Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) versi 4. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Quality of Work Life berpengaruh positif dan signfikan terhadap intention to stay. Komitmen Organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signfikan terhadap Intention to Stay. Quality of Work Life berpengaruh positif dan signfikan terhadap komitmen organisasi, begitu juga dengan Komitmen Organisasi dapat memediasi dan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Quality of Work Life dan Intention to Stay karyawan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendekatan quality of work life sebagai strategi kinerja karyawan dengan penguatan dukungan organisasi. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah explanatory research. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan yang bekerja di Ocean Garden Resto Cabang Soekarno hatta Kota Malang. Teknik penarikan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan Nonprobability Sampling dan sejumlah 44 orang yang menjadi responden. Analisis data dalam penelitian diolah menggunakan bantuan software SPSS Versi 27 dan SmartPLS 4.0. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui pembagian kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Variabel quality of work life berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Dukungan organisasi yang dirasakan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

The objectives to be achieved by this researcher are: (1) To analyze the influence of individual characteristics partially on the job satisfaction of employees of the Malang City Education and Culture Office. (2) To analyze the influence of work ethic partially on the job satisfaction of employees of the Malang City Education and Culture Office. (3) To analyze the influence of organizational commitment partially on the job satisfaction of employees of the Malang City Education and Culture Office. (4) To analyze the influence of individual characteristics, work ethic, and organizational commitment simultaneously on the job satisfaction of employees of the Malang City Education and Culture Office. The approach used is a quantitative approach based on the initial objective of the study, namely to explain the influence of the variables to be studied and then test the previously formulated hypothesis. The location of this research is the office of the Malang City Education and Culture Office, East Java, located at Jl. Veteran No.19, Ketawanggede, Kec. Lowokwaru, Malang City, East Java. The object of this research is the job satisfaction of employees of the Malang City Education and Culture Office. The population in this study was all employees of the Malang City Education and Culture Office, totaling 242 employees.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of individual characteristics on organizational commitment, with work ethic as a mediating variable, among Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) at the Education Office of Malang Regency. Previous research has shown inconsistent findings regarding the direct relationship between personal traits and organizational commitment, highlighting a theoretical gap in understanding how individual factors contribute to employees’ dedication. Using a quantitative explanatory approach, data were collected from 58 PPPK employees through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with the SmartPLS 4.0 software. The findings reveal that individual characteristics have a positive but statistically insignificant effect on organizational commitment, suggesting that personal traits alone are not sufficient to determine employees’ commitment. However, individual characteristics significantly influence work ethic, and work ethic, in turn, has a strong and significant impact on organizational commitment. Furthermore, the analysis confirms that work ethic fully mediates the relationship between individual characteristics and organizational commitment. These results underscore the critical role of ethical behavior in translating individual attributes into meaningful organizational outcomes. The study contributes to the literature by demonstrating the indirect influence of individual traits through work ethic and offers practical recommendations for organizations to foster commitment by cultivating a strong ethical climate.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Job Characteristics and Organizational Culture on Employee Loyalty mediated by Organizational Commitment. The population in this study were all employees of Grand Miami Hotel, totaling 55 employees. The sampling technique in this study used the Saturated Sample (Total Sampling) method, so that the entire population was used as respondents. Data were processed using Smart Partial Least Square (SmartPLS 4) software. The results showed that Job Characteristics had no significant effect on Employee Loyalty, but when mediated by Organizational Commitment, Job Characteristics had a positive and significant effect, indicating that Organizational Commitment served as a full mediator. Organizational Culture had a positive and significant effect on Employee Loyalty, both directly and indirectly through Organizational Commitment, indicating that Organizational Commitment acted as a partial mediator. In addition, Organizational Commitment was found to have a positive and significant effect on Employee Loyalty. Overall, the findings highlight the crucial role of Organizational Commitment in strengthening the influence of Job Characteristics and Organizational Culture on Employee Loyalty at Grand Miami Hotel, Kepanjen, Malang Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan model manajemen kearifan lokal sebagai strategi dalam upaya peningkatan ekonomi kreatif masyarakat lokal. Dalam konteks dinamika ekonomi global dan tantangan pembangunan berkelanjutan, kearifan lokal dipandang sebagai aset budaya dan sosial yang memiliki potensi ekonomi tinggi apabila dikelola secara inovatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan menganalisis berbagai sumber ilmiah nasional dan internasional yang relevan, guna menggali konsep-konsep teoritis dan praktik empiris terkait manajemen berbasis kearifan lokal dan pengembangan ekonomi kreatif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi antara nilai-nilai tradisional dan pendekatan manajerial modern dapat menciptakan suatu sistem pengelolaan yang adaptif dan berkelanjutan. Model manajemen yang dirumuskan terdiri atas tiga komponen utama, yaitu: (1) identifikasi dan pelestarian kearifan lokal sebagai modal budaya; (2) strategi manajemen inovatif yang meliputi pelatihan, kelembagaan komunitas, dan digitalisasi; serta (3) orientasi pada peningkatan produk ekonomi kreatif dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Model ini diharapkan menjadi kontribusi konseptual yang dapat diterapkan dalam kebijakan pengembangan ekonomi kreatif berbasis budaya lokal di berbagai daerah.
