Abstract

Raw material inventory is a very important asset for a business. The inability to carry out effective planning of raw material inventory can have a negative impact on the production process. Research aimed at optimizing material inventory planning is a very important step to increase the efficiency of the production process. Qualitative analysis is indeed an important and relevant research method in optimizing material inventory planning. This method focuses on an in-depth understanding of the data collected, exploring the meaning of the information provided by informants through interviews, observation, or documentation. The MRP (Material Requirements Planning) method is an effective approach in optimizing material inventory planning. This method allows companies to place orders for raw materials precisely, determine the amount of goods to be purchased, and reduce the risk of delays in the supply of raw materials. The results of using the MRP method are: (1) being able to order raw materials precisely, because we already know what is needed, (2) can determine the amount of goods to be purchased, (3) reducing the risk of delays in the supply of raw materials

Abstract

Gipang is a typical Banten food, one of which is made by residents of Banyuwangi Village, Pulo Ampel District, Serang and Gipang Regencies. Digital technology is currently developing Gipang Rice and Cassava production based on orders. MSMEs are the backbone of the national economy. This sector is able to drive the community's economy and absorb a large number of workers. Unfortunately, the packaging for Gipang Rice and cassava products in Banyuwangi Village still uses non-standard jars and plastic, therefore packaging modernization is the solution. Standard packaging modernization can make gipang products durable and not easily destroyed and can attract the attention of buyers so that they can increase the marketing of Gipang Rice and Cassava products. By improving MSME packaging it is proven to be able to increase marketing, the market segment is increasing, and marketing turnover is increasing so that MSME can be upgraded

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how digital marketing strategies can improve marketing effectiveness and sales performance of MSMEs in the food sector in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach, simulation data was collected through semi-structured interviews with 12 MSME actors in the food sector (traditional food traders, small cafes, and packaged food businesses) as well as observing their social media content. Thematic analysis revealed that social media, especially Instagram and TikTok, are effective in increasing brand visibility and customer engagement, with visual content and local influencer collaborations as key factors. However, low digital literacy and budget constraints are significant obstacles. Opportunities such as digital training programs from the government and increased internet access in rural areas support digital marketing adoption. This research integrates the AIDA Model and Theory of Planned Behavior to understand the adoption behavior of MSME actors, as well Diffusion of Innovation to analyze the spread of digital innovation. The research results offer a theoretical framework for academics and practical guidance for MSME actors and policy makers to strengthen the digitalization of MSMEs in the food sector. Policy implications include increasing digital literacy training and technology subsidies to support the competitiveness of MSMEs.
