Abstract

This community service activity aims to support the development of menu innovation strategies and flagship product enhancement for culinary MSMEs in Serang City. The program focused on recipe innovation training, packaging improvements, and strengthening digital marketing. Five culinary MSMEs actively participated in this month-long activity conducted in January 2025. The methods included preliminary observation, direct training, and evaluation of implementation outcomes. Results showed that the training improved MSME actors’ creativity in producing new menu variations and enhancing product packaging. Furthermore, strengthening digital marketing significantly contributed to improving competitiveness and sales. Based on evaluations, all participating MSMEs showed progress in innovation, branding, and market reach. This program demonstrates that an integrated approach through direct training is highly effective in enhancing the capacity of culinary MSME entrepreneurs. In the future, collaboration between universities, government, and MSME communities should be expanded to support sustainable growth and innovation of local MSMEs.

Abstract

His community service program aims to introduce and implement low-cost rocket stove technology in Cisaat Village, Tegal Village, as a solution to increase combustion efficiency and reduce the smoke problem often caused by burning waste in yards. This activity involved training in rocket stove construction, demonstrations of use, and mentoring the community in utilizing rocket stoves for their daily needs. The results of this activity indicate increased public awareness of the importance of using cleaner and more efficient technology. Furthermore, the use of rocket stoves has helped reduce smoke pollution levels in the surrounding environment and conserve fuel. This program is expected to have a sustainable positive impact on the health and well-being of the people of Cisaat Village, Tegal Village.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of accountability and professional ethics in human resource management within public organizations in Serang City. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation techniques involving civil servants and structural officials. The results indicate that accountability in output and process has improved through digital reporting and merit-based systems, yet public participation in supervision remains limited. In terms of professional ethics, employees show strong moral commitment, though professionalism and digital competence need enhancement. The study concludes that successful implementation of accountability and professional ethics relies heavily on leadership, organizational culture, and civil servants’ commitment to upholding good governance principles.

Abstract

This research aims to identify effective strategies in developing the production capacity of MSMEs in the food and beverage sector in Serang City. MSMEs in this sector face major challenges in the form of limited traditional production technology and low human resource skills in production management and quality control. This research uses qualitative and quantitative approaches using in-depth interviews, field observations and surveys. The research results show that key strategies that can be implemented include the application of modern and efficient production technology, increasing human resource skills through training and mentoring, as well as increasing access to capital and local government support. The implementation of this strategy is expected to increase productivity, efficiency, product quality consistency and the competitiveness of MSMEs in the food and beverage sector in Serang City. The findings of this research provide an important contribution to the development of MSMEs and the local economy in Serang City

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to analyze the effectiveness of performance appraisal strategies in increasing employee productivity at Indomaret, Serang City. The research method used is qualitative, with a focus on assessing the performance of Indomaret employees in Serang City. Data was obtained through interviews and observations, as well as referring to various sources such as books, journals, scientific articles and relevant references. Indomaret employee performance assessment was carried out using the Balanced Scorecard, and the research was carried out in November-December in Serang District, Serang City. The research results show that from the perspective of finance, customers, internal business processes and learning processes, the Balanced Scorecard records a high level of satisfaction. Thus, it can be concluded that the employee performance assessment at Indomaret Serang City succeeded in meeting the requirements in the assessment and also achieved a high level of satisfaction. The implications of analyzing the effectiveness of this performance appraisal strategy can provide guidance for similar companies in increasing the productivity of their human resources.Keywords: Indomaret, Performance Assessment, Employee Productivity.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas strategi penilaian kinerja dalam meningkatkan produktivitas karyawan di Indomaret Kota Serang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan fokus mengkaji penilaian kinerja karyawan Indomaret di Kota Serang. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dan observasi, serta merujuk pada berbagai sumber seperti buku, jurnal, artikel ilmiah, dan referensi relevan. Penilaian kinerja karyawan Indomaret dilakukan menggunakan Balanced Scorecard, dan penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan November-Desember di Kecamatan Serang, Kota Serang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari perspektif keuangan, pelanggan, proses bisnis internal, dan proses pembelajaran, Balanced Scorecard mencatat tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penilaian kinerja karyawan di Indomaret Kota Serang berhasil memenuhi syarat dalam penilaian dan juga mencapai tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi. Implikasi dari analisis efektivitas strategi penilaian kinerja ini dapat memberikan panduan bagi perusahaan sejenis dalam meningkatkan produktivitas sumber daya manusia mereka.Kata kunci: Indomaret, Penilaian Kinerja, Produktivitas Karyawan.

Abstract

Employee productivity is an important factor for manufacturing companies in achieving production targets. In the Adidas Division of PT XYZ, production achievement still fluctuates, indicating that organizational culture and work environment need to be examined as factors affecting employee productivity. This study aims to determine the effect of organizational culture and work environment, both partially and simultaneously, on employee productivity in the Adidas Division of PT XYZ. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population consisted of 200 employees in the Adidas Division, while the sample consisted of 146 respondents determined using the Slovin formula with a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 27. The results show that organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity with a t-value of 6.978 and a significance level of 0.000. The work environment also has a positive and significant effect with a t-value of 2.694 and a significance level of 0.008. Simultaneously, organizational culture and work environment have a significant effect on employee productivity with an F value of 175.318 and a coefficient of determination of 71.0%. The conclusion of this study shows that organizational culture and work environment play an important role in improving employee productivity. Therefore, companies need to strengthen organizational culture and create a conducive work environment to support increased employee productivity.

Abstract

The development of social media as a digital commerce platform has encouraged TikTok to introduce the Live Shopping feature, which enables real-time interaction between sellers and consumers. This study aims to examine the effect of TikTok Live Shopping on the purchasing decisions of students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Bina Bangsa University. This study employed a quantitative approach involving 98 respondents, whose number was determined using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through questionnaires, while the data analysis included normality testing, linearity testing, and simple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that TikTok Live Shopping has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. This finding is supported by a regression coefficient of 0.579 and a significance value of 0.002, which is lower than 0.05. This means that the greater the intensity of use and the better the quality of the live shopping experience, the stronger the tendency of students to make purchasing decisions. Various interactive features, such as direct communication, product demonstrations, and real-time promotional offers, also contribute to increasing consumer trust and satisfaction. This study reinforces the view that Live Shopping can serve as an effective digital marketing strategy. Future research is recommended to include other variables, such as consumer trust and customer loyalty, in order to provide a deeper understanding of consumer behavior in social commerce in the digital era.

Abstract

Pengembangan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memerlukan strategi branding dan digitalisasi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan visibilitas, aksesibilitas, serta daya saing usaha. Namun, sebagian UMKM di Kelurahan Mesjid Priyayi, Kecamatan Kasemen, Kota Serang, masih memiliki keterbatasan dalam identitas usaha, informasi lokasi secara digital, dan fasilitas pembayaran digital. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat branding dan digitalisasi UMKM melalui pembuatan papan nama usaha, pendaftaran dan optimalisasi lokasi usaha pada Google Maps, serta penerapan QRIS sebagai sarana pembayaran digital. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan UMKM, perancangan dan pembuatan papan nama usaha, pendampingan pendaftaran lokasi usaha pada Google Maps, pendampingan pembuatan dan pemanfaatan QRIS, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pemasangan papan nama mampu memperkuat identitas visual UMKM, pemanfaatan Google Maps meningkatkan kemudahan masyarakat dalam menemukan dan mengakses lokasi usaha, sedangkan penggunaan QRIS memberikan alternatif pembayaran yang lebih praktis, aman, dan sesuai dengan perkembangan transaksi digital. Kegiatan ini juga meningkatkan pemahaman pelaku UMKM mengenai pentingnya branding dan pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam mendukung pengembangan usaha. Dengan demikian, integrasi identitas usaha, informasi lokasi digital, dan sistem pembayaran digital dapat menjadi strategi praktis dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan keberlanjutan UMKM di Kelurahan Mesjid Priyayi.

Abstract

Penyalahgunaan narkoba dan kenakalan remaja merupakan permasalahan sosial sekaligus hukum yang dapat memberikan dampak negatif terhadap masa depan generasi muda, khususnya siswa yang berada pada tahap perkembangan remaja dan rentan terhadap berbagai pengaruh negatif lingkungan. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran hukum dan pemahaman siswa kelas X SMKN 6 Kota Serang mengenai bahaya penyalahgunaan narkoba dan kenakalan remaja beserta dampak sosial dan konsekuensi hukumnya. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui sosialisasi dan edukasi interaktif yang melibatkan siswa kelas X. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi identifikasi awal pemahaman siswa, penyampaian materi mengenai bahaya narkoba dan kenakalan remaja, diskusi dan tanya jawab, serta evaluasi pemahaman siswa setelah kegiatan. Materi yang diberikan mencakup pengenalan bahaya penyalahgunaan narkoba, faktor yang dapat mendorong terjadinya penyalahgunaan narkoba, dampak kenakalan remaja, upaya pencegahan, serta pentingnya menaati norma dan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi memberikan peningkatan pemahaman siswa mengenai risiko penyalahgunaan narkoba dan kenakalan remaja serta konsekuensi yang dapat ditimbulkan terhadap diri sendiri, keluarga, lingkungan sekolah, dan masyarakat. Kegiatan ini juga mendorong terbentuknya kesadaran hukum siswa agar lebih selektif dalam memilih lingkungan pergaulan, mampu mengambil keputusan secara bertanggung jawab, dan menghindari perilaku yang berpotensi melanggar hukum. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini diharapkan dapat mendukung upaya preventif dalam menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang aman, sehat, disiplin, dan memiliki kesadaran hukum.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memanfaatkan lahan sekolah melalui pembentukan kebun Tanaman Obat Keluarga (TOGA) sebagai media edukasi kesehatan mandiri di SMKN 6 Kota Serang. Program dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa KKM Universitas Bina Bangsa di Kelurahan Mesjid Priyayi menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif partisipatif. Kegiatan mencakup observasi lokasi, persiapan tanaman dan wadah, penanaman, penataan, pelabelan, serta edukasi mengenai identitas, manfaat dasar, perawatan, dan penggunaan tanaman obat secara aman. Data diperoleh melalui observasi lapangan, dokumentasi, dan refleksi bersama. Kegiatan mengubah lahan yang belum dimanfaatkan optimal menjadi ruang belajar kontekstual sekaligus mendorong keterlibatan siswa dalam pemeliharaan lingkungan. Label tanaman menghubungkan objek botani dengan informasi kesehatan, sedangkan praktik menanam mendukung pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman dan tanggung jawab bersama. Program menegaskan bahwa tanaman obat mendukung kesehatan mandiri secara terinformasi dan tidak menggantikan diagnosis atau terapi tenaga kesehatan. Pemeliharaan berkelanjutan, pendampingan guru, dan integrasi dengan proyek sekolah diperlukan untuk menjaga fungsi kebun TOGA.
