Abstract

In the preservation of local culture, local government policy is required to make local regulation (Perda)which can be used as a handbook for architects and building owners, when making a plan fordevelopment in public areas but do not forget to give a typical sign of Makassar or 'raises 'traditionalarchitectural style of South Sulawesi in building offices or public buildings. South SulawesiProvincial Government's efforts to pioneer the construction of buildings or new buildings that stillemphasizes architectural Bugis-Makassar, as exemplified in 1978 by building the Office of theParliament of South Sulawesi and South Sulawesi Governor's Office, is an effort to respond positively.But these efforts did not last long. The architects, in for some time, still seems to apply the modelTimpalaja (timpanon) as a prominent feature of traditional roof Bugis-Makassar on the buildings, alsoseemed to have started to disappear from the presence of buildings or new buildings that would be anew icon for the city of Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a tool in the context of learning local culture in ceramics craft learning which can be used as a guidebook by cultural arts teachers in junior high schools. This type of research is a study adapted from the development research model of Borg & Gall. The flow of this research starts with the analysis of academic needs, strategy learning, instrument development, instrument development, instrument development, instrument realization, development. Data collection techniques are done by techniques, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The team of experts in this research are material media and media experts, to assess the validity of the instruments developed. The trial subjects were junior high school teachers in Makassar City. Data analysis was performed with qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the instruments developed in this study are ceramic craft learning instruments. ranking along with user guidelines. Some steps taken in developing association-based organizations in accordance with local culture, namely analysis of teacher needs (field studies and literature studies), development of learning activities (looking at curriculum, standards, developing indicators, and developing instruments)), developing instruments, analyzing, and evaluation. These instruments state that the calculation varies according to what has been applied and applies to a period of validity and practical results of practicality. The instruments developed have been located by junior high school teachers in Makassar City.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of students to draw a form in class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Bua Ponrang Luwu. The research design used is descriptive evaluation design. The purpose of this study is to determine the ability of students in drawing the form in class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Bua Ponrang. The benefits of research can provide input for the school in an effort to develop the potential of resources possessed by students in drawing the form and can provide an overview to students to determine the techniques in drawing the form. The population in this study were 173 people for five classes and the sample was 32 people. Data collection techniques used observation techniques, interviews, documentation, practice tests. Based on the results of the research can be concluded that: The ability of students to draw a form in class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Bua Ponrang Luwu regency classified in sufficient category. The average value of the overall results obtained from the perspective, composition, proportion and darkness of the appraiser 1 by Mr. Sidik Mustajab shows that 8 students are capable, 15 students are quite capable, and 9 students show less able. And from Assessor 2 by Mr. Muh. Amir shows students' results from the perspective, composition, proportion and dark aspects that only one student and 10 can afford and 21 less students. And from the results of the appraisal value 3 by the father Prince Paita Yunus just give value on the proportion only. Students of SMA Negeri 1 Bua Ponrang Luwu Regency classified show thoroughly on the results of drawing the form of the KKM value of 65.

Abstract

The cosmologic view of the Buginese tribe assumes that this macrocosmos (the universe) is arranged into three levels: Boting langi’ (the upper world), Ale kawa (the middle world), Uri’ Li’yu’ (the Under world). As the centre from the three parts of this universe is Boting Langi (the highest sky), the place of Dewata SeuwaE (God) to lie down. This view is represented in the King’s Palace/traditional house building seen as the microcosmos. So, the King’s palace of the Buginese is devided also into three levels (stacks), those are: Rekkeang (top floor) viewed as the head of the human being, Alle bola (the body of the house) viewed as the body, and Awa bola (space underneath of the house) viewed as the leg of the human being. The three parts are centered at Posi’ bola or the house navel. This research tries to answer the problems: 1) whether the meaning form of the King’s Palace of the Buginese based on cosmology, and 2) how the symbol meaning of decorative art at the King’s Palace of the Buginese is. To identify and comprehend the meaning of decorative art on the King’s Palace of the Buginese, it is done through hermeneutic theory by Gadamer and the symbol meaning theory by Victor Turner. This research gives description that the happening of structural change and the style of decorated art at the kings’ palace of the Buginese of South Sulawesi, beside having much influence from the art of Dong-son and Chou Tua style, the decorated art at the Buginese tribe also got influence from Hinduism and Islam. In addition, the change of the art style is decided also by the one who has power in the society, either in the politic side or in the religion or culture. In this case, the existence of art style variation is caused by the existence of the levelling and groupping of the society.Keyword: Decorated art, Buginese tribe.

Abstract

Fine art is one of the artifacts that are present as a result of human behavior and human actions that are driven by motivation in their thoughts and feelings. Therefore, a work of art is not something isolated but is an element of a system so that the meaning contained in it is systemic as well. This means that the meaning of a work of art can be determined by the system, by the work of art itself, and by the humans who make the work of art, or who associate physical elements from the environment with certain meanings. This has become the object of theoretical study and is systematically analyzed by semiotics by relying on the sign as the main concept. Fine art in the study of semiotics is not only limited to a theoretical framework, but also as a method of analysis. For example, in fine art analysis, Peirce's theory of triangle meaning consisting of a sign, object, and interpretant is one theory that can be applied.

Abstract

Abstrak. Sebagai perguruan tinggi negeri yang yang akan terus berkembang mengikuti perkembangan zaman, perlu dan telah menjadi kebutuhan untuk memperkenalkan teknik sitasi dan konsep penelusuran daftar referensi kepada dosen dan mahasiswa, khususnya pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang ada di program studi Pendidikan Seni Rupa Fakultas seni dan Desain Universitas Negeri Makassar. Di samping itu, kegiatan ini merupakan respon positif terhadap arahan pimpinan Universitas Negeri Makassar yang mewajibkan publikasi ilmiah bagi mahasiswa Program Sarjana (S1) Universitas Negeri Makassar mulai tahun 2010. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan adanya kegiatan pelatihan untuk memperkenalkan teknik sitasi dan teknik penelusuran referensi bagi mahasiswa di lingkungan Fakultas Seni dan Desain Universitas Negeri Makassar, khususnya bagi mahasiswa semester akhir pada Program studi Pendidikan Seni Rupa. Permasalahan yang tampak pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Rupa Fakultas Seni dan desain Universitas Negeri Makassar adalah: (1) Pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang teknik sitasi dan penelusuran referensi dalam penulisan karya ilmiah masih sangat kurang, (2) Banyak laporan dan artikel penelitian m a h a s i s w a d a n dosen yang belum sepenuhnya menggunakan sistem APA, sehingga masih banyak ditemui referensi termuat dalam tubuh karangan, namun tidak ditemukan dalam daftar pustaka. (3) Laporan dan artikel penelitian mahasiswa banyak ditemukan menggunakan buku sebagai referensi rujukan, sehingga menyulitkan untuk dimuat di jurnal. (4) Maraknya isu plagiasi dan mudahnya mengakses berbagai informasi melalui dunia maya menjadi kendala yang cukup berat bagi mahasiswa. Tahap Pelaksanaan Kegiatan, meliputi: (a) Penyajian materi, (b) Demonstrasi penggunaan program, (c) Mencari referensi jurnal nasional, (d) Praktek membuat proposal mini dengan pembuatan bibliografi sesuai program Zotero, (e) Diskusi. Setelah kegiatan pengabdian ini selesai maka peserta diharapkan dapat (1) menulis sitasi dan daftar pustaka dengan benar dan cepat, (2) menelusuri pustaka/jurnal secara cepat, (3) menulis daftar isi dengan benar dan cepat dan (4) Memiliki keterampilan teknik sitasi dan Penelusuran referensi dengan menggunakan aplikasi yang tersedia. Kata kunci: Teknik; Sitasi; Penelusuran; Referensi

Abstract

Publikasi karya ilmiah dalam bentuk artikel sangat penting bagi dosen dan  merupakan salah satu sarana yang sangat berjasa dalam penyebarluasan ilmu, teknologi dan seni. Publikasi yang baik harus memenuhi tiga hal yaitu originalitas (orinality), kebaruan (novelty) dan dampak (contribution). Di era internet, sumber literatur ilmiah dapat diperoleh dengan mudah. Banyak basis data (database) ilmiah berbasis situs web yang dapat diakses. Namun, untuk menemukan literatur ilmiah yang tepat, serta menghemat waktu dan sumber daya, diperlukan pengetahuan dan kemampuan terkait dengan teknik penelusuran informasi ilmiah melalui internet. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan adanya kegiatan pelatihan untuk memperkenalkan konsep penelusuran referensi menggunakan zotero bagi dosen maupun mahasiswa di lingkungan Program Pascasarjana Universitas Negeri Makassar, khususnya bagi dosen dan mahasiswa Program studi Magister Pendidikan Seni Rupa. Pelatihan ini diikuti 25 orang peserta. Metode yang digunaan adalah ceramah, demonstrasi, dan praktek/penugasan. Selama pelatihan berlangsung, nampak begitu besar motivasi dan animo peserta, dan ada beberapa peserta yang mengajukan untuk diaktifkannya kegiatan seperti ini, minimal  sekali dalam setahun. Keberhasilan pelaksanaan pelatihan aplikasi zotero ini terlihat pada: kesungguhan peserta pembimbingan dalam mengikuti penyajian materi, keberhasilan peserta dalam mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan dengan baik, kehadiran peserta mengikuti pelatihan ini mencapai 100 %, dan keberhasilan pelatihan ini tercermin dari hasil evaluasi yang berpredikat baik.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Mata kuliah Kewirausahaan merupakan salah satu mata kuliah wajib yang diajarkan pada program studi Pendidikan Seni Rupa Fakultas Seni dan Desain Universitas Negeri Makassar. Setelah menempuh mata kuliah ini mahasiswa diharapkan mampu mengenali potensi diri, mencari dan menciptakan 
peluang usaha, serta berani mencoba berwirausaha sesuai dengan kemampuan dan bidang yang digelutinya. 
Dalam menciptakan seorang wirausaha dapat dimulai melalui pendidikan kewirausahaan yang diajarkan di perguruan tinggi, tetapi akan lebih cepat apabila pendidikan kewirausahaan juga mulai diterapkan dari keluarga, masyarakat dan lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini akan mengembangkan bahan ajar mata kuliah kewirausahaan lalu mengukur kelayakan bahan ajar dari segi kevalidan. Penelitian ini mengacu pada prosedur pengembangan yang dikembangkan oleh Borg & Gall yang terdiri dari sepuluh langkah yang disusun secara sistematis, dengan penjelasan yang mudah dipahami, dan dapat mengarahkan pengembang dari awal hingga akhir penelitian. Dalam pelaksanaannya, hanya dilakukan hingga langkah ketiga, yakni dari 1) studi pendahuluan dan pengumpulan data/informasi, 2) membuat perencanaan, 3) mengembangkan draf awal dan uji validasi atau review oleh validator. Komponen paket pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini adalah buku ajar dan media presentasi. Paket pembelajaran Kewirausahaan berupa bahan ajar dan  media presentasi yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini adalah bahan ajar yang layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Kewirausahaan pada Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Rupa Jurusan Pendidikan Seni Rupa dan Kerajinan Fakultas Seni dan Desain Universitas Negeri Makassar. Hal ini dikarenakan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria kevalidan. Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, Bahan Ajar, Kewirausahaan

Abstract

The understanding of Arts and Culture teachers on Basic Competence (KD) in the art curriculum in the 2013 curriculum is the initial key to the achievement of learning objectives in the classroom. The goal agreed in this study was to describe the understanding of the teachers of art and culture (art) towards the Basic Competence (KD) in the field of fine arts at the high school / vocational level in Makassar. This research is a survey research to describe the facts that occur in the field about art and culture teachers who teach in high school / vocational high school, related to their understanding of Basic Competence (KD) subjects in the arts and culture they discuss. 15 subjects were published. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using percentages. The data technique used consisted of a questionnaire. The results of this questionnaire will be analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and expressed as a percentage. The results of research on the understanding of art teachers on the Basic Competencies (KD) of the 2013 curriculum at the SMA / SMK level in Makassar show that some teachers do not understand and and even really lack understanding of some basic competency formulations of the meaning of basic competencies with the meaning of concepts,  the structure, theme and aesthetic value of art.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) Develop local art teaching materials with the aim of knowing the ability to understand, appreciate, and analyze students in aspects of historical background, concepts, and artwork in South Sulawesi 2) Measuring the feasibility of local art teaching materials in the Postgraduate Program in Arts Education Study Program Universitas Negeri Makassar. This research refers to the development procedure developed by Borg & Gall which consists of ten steps that are arranged systematically, with easy-to-understand explanations, and can direct the developer from the beginning to the end of the study. In research on the development of teaching materials, it was only carried out up to nine steps, product dissemination or distribution activities were not carried out due to limited funds and time of the researcher. The components of the learning package developed in this study are textbooks, media presentations, and appreciation tests. The stages in research and development of this instructional package consist of four phases: the initial study phase and the development phase, the implementation phase, the testing and evaluation phase. Learning packages for Local Art Studies in the form of teaching materials, media presentations and appreciation test sheets produced in this study are feasible packages to be used in the learning process in the subject of Local Art Studies at the Universitas Negeri Makassar Postgraduate Program in Fine Arts Education. This is because the package developed has fulfilled the validity criteria, practicality, and effectiveness.
