Abstract

This study examines the role of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in shaping economic growth and labor absorption post-pandemic in Indonesia. It explores the challenges and strategies for achieving economic sustainability, particularly in sectors like agriculture, digital innovation, and education. Through a qualitative approach, this research analyzes key factors such as government policies, the rise of digital platforms, and the importance of critical thinking and ecoliteracy in fostering sustainable practices. The study highlights how platforms like Liniku.id, a digital agricultural tool, contribute to improving farmer literacy, enhancing agricultural productivity, and advancing SDG targets. The findings suggest that the integration of digital technologies and social innovations has a significant impact on empowering local communities, especially in rural areas. Furthermore, this paper underscores the importance of collaborative efforts from all stakeholders, including the government, private sector, and communities, to achieve the SDGs. The research concludes with recommendations for future initiatives, focusing on strengthening digital literacy among rural populations and expanding policy support for inclusive and sustainable economic development. The implications of this study are vital for policymakers, development agencies, and researchers aiming to contribute to Indonesia’s sustainable growth in alignment with the SDGs.

Abstract

The relationship between Turkey and Saudi Arabia has undergone a significant transformation in recent years, particularly under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. This article seeks to analyze the underlying factors behind the normalization process between the two countries, considering not only political, economic, and security dimensions but also the often-overlooked ideological aspect. Historically, Turkey and Saudi Arabia have maintained opposing ideological stances, particularly regarding their positions on Islamist movements such as the Muslim Brotherhood. This study employs a qualitative methodology based on a comprehensive literature review and secondary data analysis. The findings indicate that the normalization is driven by multiple factors, including political alignment, ideological recalibration, economic interests, and security concerns. Moreover, international responses to this normalization have been mixed, with some countries expressing support while others remain critica.

Abstract

Despite a relatively high Human Development Index, the Gross Enrollment Ratio in Higher Education (APKPT) in Bangka Belitung Province, Indonesia, remains stagnant and is below the national average. This study aims to identify the socio-economic and psychological factors influencing high school graduates from vulnerable families in their choice between higher education and immediate employment. A quantitative survey was conducted on 210 respondents aged 17–23, selected through stratified random sampling. Data were analyzed using binary logistic regression. The findings reveal that 64.3% of respondents prefer working to continuing their education, while only 44.8% express interest in pursuing higher education. Among all variables examined, intrinsic motivation emerged as the only statistically significant factor influencing the decision to pursue higher education. Family income, parental education, access to educational information, perception of the benefits of college, and self-efficacy did not have significant effects. The study concludes that low participation in higher education among vulnerable youth is driven primarily by low intrinsic motivation rather than by financial constraints or limited access to information. Strengthening students' intrinsic motivation and passion for learning is therefore essential for improving college enrollment in the region.
