Abstract

The highest level of alcohol consumption in education is among students. One of the factors causing the increase in alcohol consumption behavior and the rise in crime cases due to alcohol consumption is a lack of religiosity. Religiosity as the internalization of religious values related to belief in religious teachings. These beliefs are then actualized in human behavior. This research is included in the type of qualitative research with a case study approach. The conceptual boundaries of this research are religiosity, teenagers aged 18 - 21 years, and subjects who live in Village "X". The subjects in this research were teenagers who were alcoholics, both male and female, totaling 5 subjects. In this research, nonprobability sampling technique was used with purposive sampling. Subjects have a level of belief in God, religion and sin in their religion. Having high intentions can influence the subject's level of commitment to carrying out ritualistic activities. Subject knowledge regarding religious knowledge is fulfilled through developing digital media. Subjects' feelings towards ritual activities and their experiences of consuming alcohol vary. subject, no one mentioned behaving well because they were motivated by the teachings of their religion. All subjects felt comfortable with the circle of friends that the subjects were now living in. Factors that influence individuals to consume alcohol are environmental factors and the individual's own desires.

Abstract

Keluarga merupakan tempat dimana individu tumbuh, berkembang dan belajar tentang nilai-nilai yang dapat membentuk kepribadian anak nantinya. Keluarga merupakan unit sosial dasar terkecil dalam masyarakat yang menentukan suatu kelompok masyarakat menjadi kelompok yang kuat, yang juga berdampak pada kuatnya bangsa dan negara. Penyelenggara pendidikan remaja sebaiknya memberikan program berbasis keluarga (parenting) serta studi kasus yang sering terjadi pada remaja. Program tersebut berfungsi untuk menumbuhkan wawasan dan keterampilan orang tua dalam memberikan pengasuhan sesuai tahapan usia anak, sehingga terjadi kesesuaian antara program di sekolah dengan aturan di rumah. Salah satu program berbasis keluarga (parenting) adalah pengelola sekolah mengadakan pelatihan atau workshop dimana orang tua, guru, dan pendidik dapat berdiskusi secara langsung untuk mengkaji perkembangan remaja berdasarkan permasalahan yang dihadapi, serta pemecahan masalah yang efektif. Pengelola sekolah dapat mengadakan seminar yang mendatangkan pakar di bidang psikologi yang dilaksanakan bekerjasama dengan Fakultas Psikologi, Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik.

Abstract

According to the results of research interviews with students, it was shown that there were 7 people who were immature in their careers and there were 8 students who lacked parental social support. Therefore the aim of the researchers was to determine the influence of Self-Efficacy, Parental Social Support on Career Maturity in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Gresik Students. This study uses a type of quantitative research. Respondents in this study were Grade 12 students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Gresik. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling by incidental sampling. The sample used was 127 respondents. The results of Test (R2) show a number of 0.062, which means that the Self-Efficacy and Social Support of Parents variables contribute 62% to the career maturity variable, while the remaining 38% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. According to the hypothesis in line to get a significance result of 0.007 less than 0.05. For Self-Efficacy on Career Maturity, a significance value of 0.168 <0.05 is obtained, which means that there is no significant effect. Meanwhile, between parents' social support for career maturity, a significance value of 0.002 <0.05 is obtained, which means that it is interpreted that there is a significant influence.

Abstract

Schools ensure that students acquire knowledge and skills through various activities, both academic and non-academic, to help them achieve their full potential. However, in addition to intelligence, learning success also depends on a sense of responsibility and self-confidence, as well as self-confidence. Self-confidence plays an important role in children's daily lives, especially when they are in a new environment or facing a situation they have never experienced before. This study aims to identify changes in students' self-confidence levels, as well as evaluate the effect of positive reinforcement on their ability to tell stories with confidence. Using a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, this study observed students and applied a positive reinforcement storytelling method to improve their self-confidence. The results of this study indicate that the positive reinforcement storytelling method significantly improved students' self-confidence, as seen from higher scores and positive behaviors that emerged. This study presents an effective teaching method to improve students' self-confidence, providing important insights for educational practices that support students' social and emotional development in the classroom. The implications of this study are able to help the development of educational psychology by emphasizing the importance of an interactive and holistic approach to improving students' self-confidence, which can ultimately have an impact on academic performance.Sekolah memastikan bahwa siswa memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan melalui berbagai kegiatan, baik akademik maupun non-akademik, untuk membantu mereka mencapai potensi terbaik mereka. Namun, selain kecerdasan, keberhasilan belajar juga bergantung pada rasa tanggung jawab dan keyakinan terhadap diri sendiri, serta rasa percaya diri. Kepercayaan diri memiliki peranan penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari anak, terutama saat mereka berada di lingkungan baru atau menghadapi situasi yang belum pernah dialami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi perubahan dalam tingkat kepercayaan diri siswa, serta mengevaluasi pengaruh penguatan positif terhadap kemampuan mereka dalam bercerita dengan percaya diri. Menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), penelitian ini mengamati siswa dan menerapkan metode cerita dengan reinforcement positive untuk meningkatkan rasa percaya diri mereka. Hasil dari penlitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode bercerita dengan reinforcement positive secara signifikan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa, yang dapat dilihat dari skor yang lebih tinggi dan perilaku positif yang muncul. Penelitian ini menyajikan metode pengajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa, memberikan wawasan penting bagi praktik pendidikan yang mendukung perkembangan sosial dan emosional siswa di dalam kelas. Implikasi penelitian ini mampu membantu perkembangan psikologi pendidikan dengan menekankan pentingnya pendekatan interaktif dan holistik untuk meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa, yang pada akhirnya dapat berdampak pada kinerja akademik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of communication intensity on relationship satisfaction among couples in long-distance relationships. The sample consisted of 184 respondents aged 18 to 25 years at the University of Muhammadiyah Gresik. According to Santrock, the age range of 18-25 is considered early adulthood, which is marked by identity exploration, transition to independence, and the development of deeper interpersonal relationships. This study used a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression design. The results of the analysis showed a strong significant relationship between communication intensity and relationship satisfaction, with a significant correlation value of 0.896 (p < 0.01). Reliability testing showed good consistency, with Cronbach's Alpha of 0.870 for communication intensity and 0.878 for relationship satisfaction. ANOVA analysis showed significant differences between respondent groups (F = 18.0, p < 0.001). Hypothesis testing revealed that communication intensity had a significant effect on relationship satisfaction (F = 18.0, p < 0.001), with an R² value of 0.32, indicating that 32% of the variation in relationship satisfaction can be explained by communication intensity. This finding supports the interpersonal communication theory, which emphasizes the importance of effective communication in building healthy relationships. This study provides valuable insights for couples in long-distance relationships, confirming that increasing communication intensity can contribute positively to relationship satisfaction.

Abstract

Adolescents undergo dynamic developmental changes, especially in the realm of interpersonal relationships. Not all these connections are positive; some adolescents experience unhealthy relationships, commonly referred to as toxic relationships, which may compromise their psychological well-being and academic functioning. Academic procrastination often emerges as a response to emotional and relational stress. This study involved 188 high school students and employed a quantitative survey approach to explore the extent to which toxic relationships contribute to academic procrastination. Instruments were developed based on validated theoretical dimensions, and data were analyzed using linear regression and partial correlation. The results indicated that toxic relationships significantly influence academic procrastination, though their contribution remains modest. The physical symptoms of such relationships demonstrated a stronger negative association with task delay compared to emotional and manipulative aspects. These findings highlight the need for intervention strategies focused on promoting healthy interpersonal dynamics and emotional regulation to mitigate procrastination behaviors among students.Remaja berada pada fase perkembangan yang penuh dinamika, termasuk dalam membangun hubungan interpersonal. Namun, tidak semua hubungan bersifat positif; sebagian remaja mengalami hubungan yang tidak sehat atau dikenal sebagai toxic relationship, yang dapat memengaruhi kondisi psikologis serta berdampak pada performa akademik individu. Dalam konteks ini, prokrastinasi akademik kerap muncul sebagai bentuk respons terhadap tekanan emosional dan relasional. Penelitian ini melibatkan 188 siswa SMA dan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik survei untuk mengeksplorasi sejauh mana hubungan toksik berkontribusi terhadap perilaku prokrastinasi akademik. Instrumen disusun berdasarkan dimensi teoritis yang telah tervalidasi, dan analisis dilakukan melalui regresi linier dan korelasi parsial. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa toxic relationship memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap prokrastinasi akademik, meskipun kontribusinya relatif kecil. Aspek fisik dari hubungan toksik menunjukkan kecenderungan hubungan negatif yang lebih kuat terhadap penundaan tugas dibandingkan aspek emosional dan manipulatif. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya strategi intervensi yang menargetkan penguatan relasi sehat dan pengelolaan emosi dalam upaya menekan perilaku prokrastinasi akademik di kalangan pelajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV di SD Muhammadiyah 1 GKB, yang menunjukkan motivasi belajar rendah. Pentingnya penelitian ini terletak pada upaya untuk mengatasi masalah rendahnya motivasi belajar, yang dapat memengaruhi prestasi akademik siswa. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan observasi, wawancara, dan pengamatan lapangan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Intervensi dilakukan melalui penerapan teknik Self-Regulated Learning yang meliputi penguatan diri, pengamatan model, efikasi diri, dan pembelajaran mandiri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam motivasi belajar kedua subjek, yang ditandai dengan kemampuan mereka menyelesaikan tugas secara mandiri dan mengontrol proses belajar. Kesimpulannya, teknik Self-Regulated Learning terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil ini menunjukkan pentingnya penerapan metode ini dalam lingkungan pendidikan untuk membantu siswa meningkatkan kemandirian dan motivasi belajar.
